The occurrence of Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus (T2DM) is hoarding globally. All kinds of Diabetes Mellitus is controlled to disrupt over 415 million grownups worldwide. It was the seventh prime cause of demise widespread with a measured 1.6 million deaths right prompted by diabetes during 2016. Over 90% of diabetes cases are T2DM, with the utmost persons having at smallest one other chronic condition in UK. In valuation of contemporary applications of Big Data (BD) to Diabetes Medicare by sighted its upcoming abilities, it is compulsory to transmit out a bottomless revision over foremost theoretical literatures. The long-term growth in medicine and, in explicit, in the field of "Diabetology", is powerfully encroached to a sequence of differences and inventions. The medical and healthcare data from varied bases like analysis and treatment tactics which assistances healthcare workers to guess the actual perceptions about the development of Diabetes Medicare measures accessible by them. Apache Spark extracts "Resilient Distributed Dataset (RDD)", a vital data structure distributed finished a cluster on machines. Machine Learning (ML) deals a note-worthy method for building elegant and automatic algorithms. ML library involving of communal ML algorithms like Support Vector Classification and Random Forest are investigated in this projected work by using Jupiter Notebook - Python code, where significant quantity of result (Accuracy) is carried out by the models.
The Republic of Korea (ROK) has been putting much effort to deal with diabetes which is being increasingly found in all age groups due to inadequate diet. Diabetes is closely related to one's eating habits and lifestyle that often cause hyperglycemia so that it is essential for the diabetic patients to change them to improve or control the major symptoms of diabetes. This study introduces a software engineering solution to support these patients. The software designed for the solution lets the patients to easily recognize their sugar levels and current treatment schemes and then advises a more effective approach along with the essential information through the embedded push service. The major goal of this study is to support diabetes patients by providing a convenient but effective means to prevent or improve diabetic symptoms by patients themselves who will in turn change their lifestyles in a positive manner.

The purpose of this study was to determine an effect of the health camp program on self-efficacy, sick-role behavioral compliance and glucose metabolism in juvenile diabetes mellitus patients. The quasi -experimental study was designed using a nonequivalent control group pre-posttest design with the framework of Bandura's self-efficacy theory. Forty-two juvenile diabetes mellitus patients participating in this study were selected from outpatients. Of these, twenty-one were assigned to the experimental group and twenty-one to the control group. The period of data collection was from August 8 to December 9 in 1994. The health camp program for the experimental group was carried out over 6 days and the control group did not participate in the program. Collection data was analyzed by means of chi - square test, t - test, ANCOVA, Pearson correlation with SPSS /PC+. The result were summarized as follows: 1. The health camp program was effective in in-creasing the scores of self-efficacy for juven-ile diabetes mellitus patients. 2. The health camp program was effective in increasing the scores of sick - role behavioral compliance for juvenile diabetes mellitus patients. 3. The health camp program was not effective in decreasing the levels of glucose metabolism. 4. The more self-efficacy increased, the more sick - role behavioral compliance increased. 5. Boys showed the higher self-efficacy than girls and the group with diabetes patients whose family members are also patients, showed the higher self-efficacy and sick-role behavioral compliance than the group without diabetic patient among the family members. Thus, it can be concluded that the health camp program was a useful health intervention for juvenile diabetes mellitus patients.
Objectives: Depression is a frequent complication of type 2 diabetes mellitus. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between low social support and risk for depression in people with type 2 diabetes through a meta-analysis. Methods: PubMed, ProQuest, SpringerLink, ScienceDirect, Scopus, the Cochrane Library, Embase, and Google Scholar were searched for English-language articles published up to 2021. Pooled adjusted odds ratios (aORs) were calculated using a random-effect model with 95% confidence intervals (CIs). Heterogeneity was evaluated by using the Cochrane Q test and I2 statistics. The risk of publication bias was estimated using a funnel plot, the Egger test, and the Begg test. The Joanna Briggs Institute Critical Appraisal Tools were used to assess the quality of evidence and the risk of bias. Results: Eleven studies were included in this meta-analysis, containing a total of 3151 people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The pooled analysis showed that people with type 2 diabetes mellitus who had low social support had twice as high a risk of depression as those with high social support (aOR, 2.02; 95% CI, 1.51 to 2.70; p<0.001). A random-effect model was used because the heterogeneity was high (I2 = 87%). Conclusions: Low social support was found to increase the risk of depression among people with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Further investigation into factors that may moderate this relationship is required.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop and test the effects of a motivational interviewing self-management program for use with elderly patients with diabetes mellitus. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The participants were 42 elderly diabetic patients (experimental group: 21, control group: 21). The motivational interviewing self-management program for elders with diabetes mellitus developed in this study consisted of a 12-week program in total (8 weeks for group motivational interviewing and education and 4 weeks for individual motivational interviewing on the phone). Data were collected between February 13 and May 3, 2013 and were analyzed using t-test, paired t-test, and repeated measure ANOVA with SPSS/WIN 18.0. Results: For the experimental group, significant improvement was found for self-efficacy, self-care behavior, glycemic control and quality of life (daily life satisfaction, influence of disease) as compared to the control group. Conclusion: The study findings indicate that the motivational interviewing self-management program is effective and can be recommended as a nursing intervention for elderly patients with diabetes mellitus.
