공기와 이산화탄소 가스에 수분공급을 위한 연구 (Water Vapor Supply Study for Air and Carbon dioxide)

  • The study has been designed to develop water vapor supply for semiconductor industry, industrial gas manufacturing, impurities analysis, and fuel cell. Water concentration in air reached $1019{\mu}mol/mol$ at dew temp ($-20^{\circ}C$) and water concentration in CO2 reached $127{\mu}mol/mol$ at dew temp ($-40^{\circ}C$. Carbon dioxide needs more wet gas than air because interaction potential of carbon dioxide shows more strong attraction than air.

연료용 혼합가스 조성에 따른 탄화수소 이슬점 예측 (A Study on the Hydrocarbon Dew Point Prediction by the Compositions of the Fuel Gas Mixtures)

  • 중회귀분석을 사용하여 혼합연료가스의 탄화수소 이슬점(DT)을 구하였다. QSDR(Quantitative Structure Dew-point Relationship)에서 주요한 설명인자는 혼합연료가스 중의 평균탄소수(CN : carbon number)와 혼합연료가스 중의 가지달린 이성질체 비율(BI : the ratio of the branched isomer)이었다. 혼합연료가스의 압력을 100 kPa ~ 500 kPa로 변화시키며 QSDR을 수행한 결과는 다음과 같다. $$DT(^{\circ}C)=-683.1+1224.98CN-898.01CN^2+308.58CN^3-49.56CN^4+3.02CN^5-12.42BI$$ (at 100 kPa, $$R_{adj}{^2}=0.99$$) (1) $$DT(^{\circ}C)=-745.2+1351.66CN-978.1CN^2+332.7CN^3-52.96CN^4+3.20CN^5-12.84BI$$ (at 200 kPa, $$R_{adj}{^2}=0.99$$) (2) $$DT(^{\circ}C)=-795.4+1457.1CN-1051.1CN^2+357.53CN^3-57.07CN^4+3.46CN^5-13.10BI$$ (at 300 kPa, $$R_{adj}{^2}=0.99$$) (3) $$DT(^{\circ}C)=-868.1+1608.4CN-1156.0CN^2+393.38CN^3-63.06CN^4+3.85CN^5-13.39BI$$ (at 500 kPa, $$R_{adj}{^2}=0.99$$) (4) 혼합연료 중의 평균탄소수의 값이 감소하거나 비점이 낮은 가지달린 이성질체의 비율이 증가할 때 탄화수소 이슬점이 낮아진다. 이 결과는 중회귀분석에 의하여 얻어진 탄화수소이슬점과 상용프로그램 VMGSim을 통하여 계산된 값과 유사하였다.

  • 논문은 가장 보편화 되어있는 양문형 냉장고의 플랜지에서 이슬 맺힘 현상을 방지하기 위한 연구에 대한 논문이다. 양문형 냉장고는 냉동실과 냉장실을 분리하는 벽의 전면부를 플랜지라하고 여기에 양문의 개스킷이 밀착하여 냉기를 차단하는 역할을 한다. 플랜지의 철판에 맺히는 이슬을 방지하기 위해서 $35^{\circ}C$의 고온의 냉매가 흐르는 열선이 삽입된다. 하지만 열선을 삽입함에도 이슬 맺힘 현상이 계속되고 있는데 이것은 열선이 철판 하부에 밀착되지 않아 열선의 열이 철판 하부에 충분히 전달되지 않기 때문이다. 본 논문에서는 열선의 영향을 평가하고 열선과 철판 하부가 충분한 열전달을 할 수 있는 구조를 제안하고 그 타당한지 확인하였다.

  • Phase transformation by the Mn-deprivation was observed in the high-Mn twinning-induced plasticity-aided steel. Mn-depletion was induced by the formation of Mn-O oxide during the dew-point control process at temperature above $-20^{\circ}C$, which changed austenitic parent phase to multi-grained ferrite. Mixture of Al-O, Al-Mn-Si-O oxides were observed at the grain boundaries of transformed ferrite.

  • The improved and advanced Annulus Gas System(AGS) has been developed for Wolsong 2 to satisfy the requirements of the regulatory body. The Atomic Energy Control Board(AECB) required a shorter detection time following a small leak from a pressure tube and/or calandria tube. This paper describes licensing requirements, functional requirements and detail design description for the AGS. The Wolsong unit No. 1 AGS was designed to operate as a stagnant system normally requiring only pressure regulation and having provisions for purging. no improved AGS involves the adoption of gas recirculation in AGS, duplication of dew point indicators with additional instrumentation and sampling provisions to prompt operator action. The improved system operates in the recirculation mode with continuous dew point measurement for leak detection. An AGS with improved detection instrumentation is provided.

층류유동 저습도 조건에서의 평행평판형 냉각판 서리성장 실험 (Experiment of frost growth on the parallel plates in the condition of laminar and low humidity)

  • The frosting characteristics on the vertical parallel plates with three cooling plates were experimentally investigated. The experimental parameters were the cooling plate temperature, the air humidity, the air temperature, the air Reynolds number, and the location. The frosting conditions were limited to air temperatures from 10 to $15^{\circ}C$ , air Reynolds numbers from 1600 to 2270, air humidity ratios from 0.00275 to 0.0037kgw/kga and cooling plate temperatures from -10 to $-20^{\circ}C$. Frost growth and density toward the front of the plate were more thick and dense than toward the rear. Frost growth increased with decreasing plate temperature and increasing humidity. In the conditions of the laminar flow, dew point below $0^{\circ}C$and non-cyclic frosting period, frost thickness increased with increasing air temperature. The reason of increasing frost thickness with increasing air temperature was sublimation-ablimation process. The average growth thickness along the locations showed little dependence on the Reynolds numbers.

  • Road traffic accidents kill more than one million people a year. ESCC represents a new device, that hasn't any analogue. This embedded system, heats the car glasses, when it's needed, that makes more safety driving. It's build on Atmega128L CPU, using high-performance EEPROM CPLD ATF1504AS. Source code was written in C language. Algorithm of work was written by dew-point table. This system is not only clearing the glass from condensation, but averts condensation. ESCC began working, when input information became close to dew-point table information. Thankful this device, field of view is more widely, that increase safety level.

  • In this study, the characteristics of NOx reduction by using charge air moisturizer system were evaluated by engine performance simulation in medium speed diesel engines. The results of performance simulation were verified by experimental results of single cylinder medium speed diesel engine equipped with charge air moisturizer system. Performance simulation was carried out to evaluate charge air moisturizer system of turbocharged diesel engine, HYUNDAI HiMSEN 9H25/33 engine. Those results show 50% NOx reduction at dew point $80^{\circ}C$ and charge air pressure 4bar.

  • This paper gives a basic data of the breakdown characteristics of Dry-Air and air based on their dew point and humidity variations in experimental GIS model by applying AC voltage. The breakdown voltage of Dry-Air was increased as gap length had been increased. The characteristics of Dry-air which had low dew point were higher. In the case of air, the breakdown voltage curves were like Dry-Air' s. But the curves were slightly folded up and down because of impurities.

Embedded System for Automatic Condensation Control of the Car

  • In this study, we designed an embedded system for automatic condensation control(ESCC) of the car. This system heats the car glasses as and when it is needed that makes driving safer and convenient. The system was built on an ATmega128L central processing unit(CPU), using high-performance electrically erasable programmable read-only memory(EEPROM) complex programmable logic device(CPLD) ATF1504AS, using which an ESCC algorithm has been proposed. The source code was written in C language. The algorithm of work was written using the dew-point table. This system not only clears the condensation on the glass but also averts condensation. The designed ESCC system begins working once the input information comes close to the dew-point table information. This device enables a wider field of view, thereby increasing safety.
