A metric is a measure of one factor of a company's performance. The metrics are used to monitor the overall performance of the company for achieving business objectives. Insufficient metrics cannot reflect company's conditions. Therefore, it is important to be equipped with 'good' metrics. This study introduces the concept of metric quality and proposes its dimensions. The study also presents application scenarios that show the role and usefulness of the metric quality.

We investigate the influence of individual properties of piezoceramics such as elastic, dielectric, piezoelectric constants, and the coupling factor on the performance of the transducer operating in thickness mode oscillation. The investigation employs equivalent circuit analysis techniques. Appropriate transfer functions are obtained and discussed which suggest optimum selection guides of piezoelectric ceramics for each purpose, i.e. a transmitter, a receiver, and a pulse-echo transducer. The guides can help ceramic scientists find the direction to proceed in new material development.

In mobile Internet banking service through wireless local area network, security is a most important factor to consider. We describe the development of mobile banking service using Personal Digatal Assistant (PDA). In order to increase the strength of encryption, we adopted hybrid approach where both of the public key algorithm and the secret key algorithm are used during the transaction among PDA, banking server and authentication server.

The purpose of this study is to develop the hotel service quality measurement attributes and dimensions which have higher validity and reliability than before. The procedures of this study is as follows: First, the attributes and dimensions are developed through the rigorous analysis of literature review. Second, the attributes and dimensions which have been developed are refined after the pilot survey. Third, the final survey used for criterion-related validity test, reliability test and factor analysis. Eventually, twenty seven attributes and six dimensions are extracted and discussed.

This paper presents a fundanental method to analyze and design a Single-sided Linear Induction Motor(SLIM) as a propulsion system for magnetic levitation vehicles of DAEJEON EXPO'93 in Korea. The performance characteristics of the designed SLIM are examinated by the thrust force, the normal force, the efficiency and the power factor according to the change of input frequency. The dimension of the SLIM is 1792mm long ${\times}$ 200mm width ${\times}$ 58mm high and the rated thrust is 1300 Newtons at the operating speed of 40 Km/h.

This study was performed to find out the regression function to calculate the modulus of elasticity of concrete mixed by river coarse aggregate. The distribution of the group of core strength made a normal curve and the effect factor in the modulus of elasticity was 0.97 at the concrete compounded by river coarse aggregate.

Colostrum has lots of bioactive components and many growth factors including insulin-like growth factors, transforming growth factors and epidermal growth factor. Colostrum and milk derived growth factors widely mediate the growth of overall development and could be used as treatment of gastrointestinal disorder, wound repair process, bioacrivity in the neonatal GI tract and induction of oral tolerance. It is possible that milk derived growth factors as potential neutraceuticals for the specific consumers may have a great role in future food industry.

본 연구는 Usability 중심의 웹사이트 평가를 위한 프레임워크 모델의 구축을 목표로 한다. 이를 위해 기존에 구축된 웹사이트 평가 방법론을 분석하여 평가 요소 별 중요도를 설정하였다. 비교 분석을 통해 나온 문제점들을 기초로 웹사이트평가를 위한 평가요인(Critical Factor)을 선정하여 새로운 프레임워크 모델 $C^3$ISP(Contents, Community, Commerce, Interface, Security, Performance)를 제시하였다. 향후 연구과제로는 프레임워크의 유용성을 분석하기 위한 Running Test를 실시한다.
