  • The new environments arrive such as ICT convergence, cloud computing, and big data, etc., how to take advanta ge of the existing software engineering technologies has become an important key. In addition, the importance of re quirement analysis for secure software and design phase has been shown in the IoT environment While the existing studies have focused on the utilization of the technique applied to IoT environment, the studies for enhancing analys is and design, the prerequisite steps for safely appling these techniques to the site, have been insufficient. So, we tr y to organize research trends based on software engineering and analyze their relationship in this paper. In detail, w e classify the research trends of software engineering to perform research trends meta-analysis, and analyze an ann ual development by years. The flow of the major research is identified by analyzing the correlation of the key word s. We propose the strategies for enhancing the utilization of software engineering techniques to develop high-quality software in the IoT environment.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the research trends on educational development cooperation in Korea with the comparative perspectives. In order to do this, this study analyzed the both of academic journal articles(N=184) and policy research reports(N=85) published in Korea from 1993 to 2015, based on the following criteria: research topic, purpose, target, and the characteristics of publication. As the result of the contents analysis, educational development cooperation researches were expanded and diversified in accordance with changes in development cooperation policy in Korea, and also found following three characteristics. First, the overall trend of the researches focused mainly on a theocratical basis in order to implement educational ODA projects rather than academic interests. Second, there were small number of academic research dealing with effectiveness or limitation of specific educational ODA projects, despite of a large portion of them. Third, there was a lack of academic interaction between education society and international development cooperation society. Based on these findings, this study discussed the implication for the future educational development cooperation research.

Critical care area is one of the clinical sites where evidence based clinical practice guideline is needed most. This paper reviewed the definition of evidence based clinical practice guidelines, the development method of evidence based clinical practice guideline, and the current trends in guideline developing. Traditional method of guideline development is consensus based but it moves into evidence based development. Evidence based guideline is based on best available evidence and uses the strongest method to determine its effect on clinical outcomes. The current trends in guidelines is to develop the guideline at regional/national level and do subsequent modification to suit local circumstances. There is an urgent need of exploring the method of guideline development and adaptation which are appropriate for Korean clinical setting.

  • In education, innovative ways of teaching and learning are always under development and keep being proposed with advanced concepts since the ancient times. Student-centered learning, problem-based learning and cooperative learning have been three major trends under development in secondary education research and practice more than a decade or so. Combined with advanced information and communication technologies, these trends will greatly transform the way we teach and learn in classroom environment and may change the classroom environment itself, into a more interactive and self-centered coaching type environment. In this study, a smart environment that utilizes advanced information technology devices and network is conceptualized, accommodating requirements contained and proposed in the recent trendy pedagogies. Pedagogical cases discussed in these trends are analyzed in detail, producing requirements for such a learning and coaching environment. These requirements are modeled using unified modeling language, leading to a proposal of a basic architecture for an information system supporting this environment.
