Interests in tourism and leisure have increased with the quality of life in Korea. The government takes the lead in development of tourism for balanced development between regions and local governments use development of tourism as a means for vitalization of local economy. The sustainable and eco-friendly development plan is required for the tourism development, because it needs effective use of limited natural resources and consideration of environmental capacity in the region. This study analyzed the trend of tourism development during nine years, and problems with respect to planning and environment aspects on the basis of four examples which follow recent development trend. We suggest improvement plan that 1) establishment of consistency and systematics of tourism development, 2) enforcement of setting up regional tourism development plan, 3) comprehensive and systematic plan establishment in consideration of private sector, 4) reasonable adjustment and environmental management for development project of approval organization, 5) removal of duplicate regulations for development project. Application of the improvement plan while setting up tourism plan could contribute to vitalization of local economy, and environmental preservation and management.

During the last 10 year period, OECD member countries were in a trend of 'less government' from 'more government', thus resulted in restructuring and reducing staffs in government agricultural institutions including the Agricultural Knowledge System. In recognizing the crisis of 'less government', member countries were in a trend of paradigm shift to the 'better government;. In producing and transferring agricultural information, member countries are more concerned about consumers as well as producers as the target of good quality services of the 'better government'. The general consensus of member countries identified the importance of food safety and environmental protection as new agendas for the 21st century. Agricultural Knowledge Systems (AKS) in OECD member countries were in a trend of reorganization in addressing food safety, and agriculture / environmental issues. The approaches, functions and responsibilities were diversified to multi-governmental institutions from the ministry of agriculture. Thus the importance of institutional cooperation and coordination were emphasized more in the newly changed AKS paradigms. The objectives, functions and approaches of AKS in OECD member countries as well as in Korea will be directed to emphasize the importance of environment, sustainable agriculture, food safety, and rural development. They will also focus on establishing mutual cooperative systems among policy makers, consumes, non-governmental organizations, and agri-related organizations as necessary for sustainable development in the future.

To strategically select the technology priority based on the understanding of technology development trends and prospects is very important. To provide such guidance for autonomous driving technology in unmanned ground combat vehicles, this report deals with followings; 1) The core technologies for autonomous driving are reviewed. 2) And domestic and foreign policies for relevant technology development are investigated. 3) Then, to estimate the technology development trend, the published patents and research papers are analyzed. 4) Based on those analyses, domestic technology level and development prospects are expected.

In this paper, the development trend of Army force power in Korea is observed and analyzed. It can be checked that unmanned technology has been actively researched and many diverse defense Acquisition system are under development in Future Combat System. Some of such examples are enough worth to be benchmarked for Korea's related research and development activities for future unmanned combat systems. The result of survey and analysis on development trend on Army force power the further establishment of domestic technology research direction as well as viable benchmarks for the future unmanned combat systems.

Recently, IP (Intellectual Property) films have attracted much attention in the Chinese film market. This raises the need to take intellectual property films seriously in academic terms. The purpose of this study is to explore the effective methodology of content development based on intellectual property by analyzing the recent trend of Chinese intellectual property films. Recently, the driving force of the development of Chinese intellectual property films was analyzed, and the trend of Chinese intellectual property films was analyzed. The results of this study criticized the fragmented problems caused by the development of intellectual property films. This study made practical and academic suggestions to contribute to the healthy development of the intellectual property film market.

The UAV propulsion system that will be operated for long time at more than 40,000ft altitude should have not only fuel flow minimization but also high reliability and durability. If this UAV propulsion system may have faults, it is not easy to recover the system from the abnormal, and hence an accurate diagnostic technology must be needed to keep the operational reliability. For this purpose, the development of the health monitoring system which can monitor remotely the engine condition should be required. In this study, a fuzzy trend monitoring method for detecting the engine faults including mechanical faults was proposed through analyzing performance trends of measurement data. The trend monitoring is an engine conditioning method which can find engine faults by monitoring important measuring parameters such as fuel flow, exhaust gas temperatures, rotational speeds, vibration and etc. Using engine condition database as an input to be generated by linear regression analysis of real engine instrument data, an application of the fuzzy logic in diagnostics estimated the cause of fault in each component. According to study results. it was confirmed that the proposed trend monitoring method can improve reliability and durability of the propulsion system for a long endurance UAV to be operated at medium altitude.

MLCC (Multi-layer Ceramic Capacitor) is the most important passive component in electronic devices such as HHP, PC and digital display. The development trend of MLCC is a miniaturization with increasing the capacitance. In this paper, a development history of the high capacitance MLCC in Korea was introduced, and the necessity of the finer $BaTiO_3$ was explained in the viewpoint of the issued electrical and dielectric properties of high capacitance MLCC. The bottleneck technologies to realize the high capacitance was shortly introduced, followed by the prediction of the development trend of MLCC in near future.

This paper develops the methodology for the indexation of Sustainable Development Indicators(SDIs) in 4 sectors(social, environmental, economic, and institutional sectors), and provides the empirical results of Sustainable Development Index(SDI) for Korea from 1990 to 2001. Given 1995 as the basic year, the trend of SDI for Korea displays a slowly curving U-shape. The down trend of SDI until mid-90's results from the decline of SDI in economic and environmental sectors, and the uptrend of SDI after mid-90's results from the sharp rising of SDI in social and institutional sectors. The implication of the results is that Korea generally shows a positive trend toward the sustainable development. However, there should be a careful consideration about partly downward trend in individual SDIs, because of the different trend of SDI in each sector.

The purpose of this study lies in touching the study trend of Chinese education technology through the analysis on present situation of the study in Chinese education technology, and is to suggest the direction for the its further study and development. In order to achieve these kinds of study purpose, the frames have been set to grasp the features and trend of Chinese educational technology in such as 4 aspects of educational technology definition, curriculum and the cultivation of genuine individuals, study zone aspect and the method, and in order to grasp, in the comparison with the countries of advanced educational technology such as Korea, America etc., the progressive features and the trend of development of Chinese educational technology have been analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it has been found that Chinese educational technology has the different features in the study and development of educational technology of Korea and America in the abovementioned 4aspects. First, in the education technology comprehension, it differs from Korea, Japan and America, and understands the technology as a skill. Consequently, in either study or actuality, it seems puts more emphasis on skills (moreover, the aspect of hardware). Second, in the aspect of curriculum and the cultivation of the genuine individuals, gives preponderance to science aspect, and the unclear distinction between the education technology and the computer science makes that the true character of educational technology is not clear. Third, when speaking of study fields and study methods, those of china is a little behind of the advanced nations of the educational engineering, Korea, America and so on. And in the range of study, China is following the international tendency but when it comes to the depth of study and quality is very far from perfect. In the aspect of study method, the theoretical study, design study and development study are occupying mostly, and it is hardly to see the existence about actual proof study, and in this aspect, it is quite different than that of Korea and America. And it is judged that it is related with the traditional educational ideology and the academic study tradition, the cultural air and the features of economical development of China.
