계시별 전기 요금제하의 에너지 절약을 위한 건물 냉방 제어 방법의 개발 (Development of a Novel Air-Conditioning Method for Energy Savings in Commercial Building Under Time of Use Electricity Pricing)

  • The commercial buildings are consuming about 30% of total energy used in Korea. And a large amount of energy consumption in commercial buildings is consumed by HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning) system. Therefore, if we can reduce the energy consumption in HVAC or air-conditioning system in commercial buildings, the overall energy consumption in Korea can be reduced. Currently, an electricity charge called Time of Use (TOU) is applied to typical commercial buildings. This paper proposes the novel energy management method where the temperature setting of air-conditioning system are adjusted to minimize the use of electrical energy while indoor comfort level is retained. The simulation test for a typical commercial building shows that the proposed method gives over 10% savings in electricity bills and electricity consumption compared to the conventional air-conditioning method.

VRFB-LFPB 하이브리드 배터리 기반의 ESS 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of ESS Based on VRFB-LFPB Hybrid Batteries)

  • High-power lithium batteries are suitable for equipment with high power output needs, such as for ESS's initial start-up. However, their management cost is increased by the installation of air-conditioning to minimize the risk of explosion due to internal temperature rise and also by a restriction on the number of charge/discharge cycles. High-capacity flow batteries, on the other hand, have many advantages. They can be used for over 20 years due to their low management costs, resulting from no risk of explosion and a high number of charge/discharge cycles. In this paper, we propose an ESS based on hybrid batteries that uses a lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO) at the initial startup and a vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) from the end of the transient period, with a bi-directional PCS to operate two batteries with different DC voltage levels and using an efficient energy management control algorithm.

수산물도매시장의 한·일 비교를 통한 거래제도 개선방향 연구 (A Study on the Improvement Direction of Trading System by Comparing Fishery Products Wholesale Markets between Korea and Japan)

  • In this study, the differences of institutional development processes of fishery products wholesale markets were compared between Korea and Japan in order to suggest improvement direction of trading system in Korea. The wholesale markets have shrunk while wholesale and distribution has been becoming larger in size in both countries. A summary of differences in the wholesale market trading systems between Korea and Japan is as follows: first, middle wholesalers play pivotal roles in wholesale transaction in Korea, and wholesale corporations take such roles in Japan. Second, most wholesale corporations take charge of listing in Korea whereas such corporations are in charge of buying in Japan. Third, Korea has high proportion of auction for transactions, in contrast to Japan with high proportion of relative transactions. Forth, Korea maintains more sales within the wholesale markers and has more small and medium customers than Japan. Finally, Korea investigates inside causes to find solutions for the decreased competitive power of the wholesale market, whereas Japan copes with the problem by searching for outside customers. To seek solutions for the decreased competitiveness of Korean fishery products wholesale markets, middle wholesalers' consignment should be limitedly allowed, and improvement direction of wholesale corporations should be investigated in the future study.

제전기용 고성능 원격 감시 장치의 개발 (Development of Remote Monitoring System for Ionizer)

  • 제전기는 정전기를 제거하는 장치로서 평판디스플레이, 유기 EL 등의 제조 공정에서 사용하는 장치이다. 본 논문에서는 상위 컴퓨터와 다수의 제전기간에 통신이 가능하며, 각 제전기의 전원 및 제전 상태를 독립적으로 제어가 가능한 제전기용 고성능 원격 감시 장치를 개발하였다. 실험을 통하여 제어기의 핵심적인 기능인 유니트 접속, 이온발생량, 대전량, 경보상태, 그리고 제전상태가 PC와 제어기 사이에 정상적으로 송수신 되는 것을 확인하였다. 개발된 장치는 TFT-LCD, PDP, 유기 EL 등 평판제조 산업에 필요한 제전기를 고성능으로 원격 감시하는 시스템에 활용이 기대된다.

색소증감에 따른 전자사진 감광체 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Electrophotographic Photoreceptor by Dye Sensitized System (II))

  • 본 연구는기존의 보고에서 보다 감광화효율을 더욱 향상시키기 위하여 결정형이 다른 전하발생물질 (CGM:Charge Generation Material)과 전하수송물질(CTM:Charge Transport Material)을 사용하여 감광체를 만들었고, 이들의 정전특성을 비교검토하였다. 전하발생물질로서 결정형이 다른 $\alpha$-, $\beta$-, x-형 무금속 프탈로시아닌 (H$_{2}$Pc)을 사용한 결과, x-H$_{2}$Pc를 사용한 감광체의 감도는 E$_{1}$2/의 값이 2.62 $\mu$J/$\textrm{cm}^2$로 가장 두수하게 나타났다. 전하발생층(CGL:Charge Generation Layer)에 첨가되는 CGM-CTM, CGM-CTM-ZnO로 구성된 감광체보다 전하발생층에 전하발생계만으로 구성된 감광체의 경우의 전하유지율 (80%) 및 감도(E$_{1}$2/=2.83$\mu$J/$\textrm{cm}^2$)면에서 우수함을 보여주었다. 한편 binder로서 PVB-co-PVA-co-PVA$_{c}$[poly(viny1 butyral-co-viny1 alcohol-co-viny1 acetate)]를 사용했을 때는, CGM-CTM으로 구성된 감광체보다 CGL에 CGM-CTM으로 구성된 감광체의 경우의 전하유지율(71%) 및 감도(E$_{1}$2/=2.62$\mu$J/$\textrm{cm}^2$)면에서 우수함을 보여주었다.

  • There are studied for filmness methods due to disadvantage of conventional X-ray system. Have high DQE, high SNR, amorphous selenium was investigated with image plate. In this point, characteristics of all amorphous selenium image plate was investigated to understand the relationship between the amount of the X-ray exposure and the superficial charge potential in this study. Specially, changes in charge at the surface of the amorphous selenium plate with respect to change of X-ray energy(KeV) was investigated. It was found that the surface charge potential at the amorphous selenium inclosed with respect to the increse in X-ray exposure and that the changed surface potential was a semilinearity in 12.5KeV - 22.5KeV range. Therefore, which suggests that these results call be applied to the development of X-ray image plate.

스마트 빌리지, 그 계획과 도전 (Plans to Improve Smart Village and Its Challenges)

  • Is the Fourth Industrial Revolution a revolution for cities only? Through the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Korea has entered quickly in the influence area of intelligent information technology such as IoT, AI, Big data, Cloud, ICT, Digital twin. However, as the information gap between the rural zone and the urban zone worsens, a policy was needed to reduce such a gap. Therefore, this research analyzed EU's smart village project, and investigated the problem and improvement of the actual smart village through the interview and field study with the person in charge of the actual smart village project in Korea. Based on the analytic result, 5 plans were deduced to improve Korea's smart village project. First, make the realistic adjustment of project period to assure the sustainability of smart village; second, make the new establishment of the department in charge of smart village project; third, construct the system of integrating and cooperating the policy that can embrace all the rural zone and the urban zone; the fourth, expand the application area of customized ICT technology according to the new rural policy environment; and finally introduce the residents' capacity development project through the rural guidance project.

  • As the WTO system launches through the agreement of Uruguay Round, the Government has to revise the office regulations or reform the system. Also, Integrating and Coordinating the like affair in health care (i. e., children's home, industry health, school health, health manpower, the administration of health center, the administration on food hygiene, health environmental education, and so on.) which is now scattered into some government departments like the Ministry of Labor, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Agriculture, and the Ministry of Environment, the Government has to prevent unspecialty, inefficiency, inconsistency, and uneconomy. The Government has to review and adopt above suggested the Proposal 1),2),3),4) of the Health Centers on the basis of the local autonomy law and it will help the successive settlement of the local autonomy system in Korea. According to the suggested proposal, the Central Government mainly takes charge of the Macro affairs as hardware, and transfer the Micro affairs as software into the Local Governments to attempt the appropriate functional allocation. To achieve it successfully, the Central Government also has to do the financial support, manpower training and technical support, allocation of health care resources, direction and control, research and development and the health care plan on the macro level. Local Governments which divided into the wide local government and basic local government also have to do their best for health improvement of the community societies like plan of health care program, implementation of health care service program, taking charge of the affairs of health insurance, activation of community residents' participation and security of health care resources etc. To achieve this goal, the Government have to be more active and reformative, the related social and health agencies and educational agencies have to cooperate and support for the goals, and especially, the community residents have to participate actively and voluntarily, When all these conditions promote, local health care administration will be developed, and health level of community residents will be secured. And going one step forward, the country and people will be more healthy

  • The development of eco-friendly low pressure carburizing system with high pressure gas quenching (LPC_GQ, 500kg/charge) led to new stage in the fundamental case-hardening treatments. This is due to its ability to provide tighter tolerances on the carburizing process with notable reductions in distortion of the carburized and hardened workpiece. This system is characteristics by high uniformity and reproducibility of heat treatment results, absence of an intergranular oxidation layer, carburizing of complex shapes, reduced cycle time, low operating costs, simplified production, eliminate post washing, and reduced grinding costs.

  • The component and system of modern Railroad vehicles are advanced and complex. Maintenance policy is scientific and must be performed systematic. A vehicle operation and maintenance must become statistical analysis method. We must apply RAMS and System Engineering. We must apply the RCM theory in the maintenance management. The vehicle failure and maintenance charge must be reduced to a minimum. When we purchase the vehicle or component, we must reflect the technology. Also such system must be constructed. We will do technique development with the deed of such serial.
