Although polishing process take 30-50% of whole process of manufacturing die and mold it has not been fully automat-ed yet. Considering current trend of manufacturing it is necessary to study on polishing automation. To accomplish automation reliable database must be developed. For developing it polishing mechanism should be defined and a general empirical formula that can be applied widely should be created. In this paper it is found that polishing process must be separated into 2 process such as removing cusp and getting fine surface process and the polishing parameter which is com-posed of major machining parameters and normalization of data can be applied efficiently in making reliable database.

The transport a administration in Korea is meeting demands of developing international multimodal transport system. In the past, as Korea transport policy has been emphasizing on the passenger traffic, the physical distribution sector is far behind international trend. Regarding the urging necessities of reducting costs in transport in order to upgrade the competitive edge of industries, Korea has to develop the most efficient transport system so called international multimodal transport system. The existing transport system is inefficient because each transport mode is separate, so this system is aiming at reducing cost and time and developing freight transport. The scope and scheme of this thesis should be as following. Chapter 2. As elderly population has been increasing, our society has to be prepared the social system. Especially female elderly increasing means that market will change and business model should also change. Every women want to be beautiful and looks young and as women get aged, women eager to be younger and beautiful more. The purposes of this study were to find out how was represented in cosmetic market ad and how elderly customers has been changed. In developed society, baby boomer has been increased, and their power of purchase also has been increased in cosmetic market. In our society, cosmetic market has been developing as customer's demand and whitening focused cosmetics has been increasing especially. Elderly skin need more moisture focused cosmetics and for developing the elderly cosmetic market in Korea, we need more research about korean elderly women's social psychological character and customer's character.

Statistics Korea has been diagnosis national statistics every year since 2006. They diagnosis over 200 kinds of national statistics. They have 7 quality dimension used for quality diagnosis. That is relevance, accuracy, Timeliness, Comparability, Coherence, Accessibility. Since we are interest in how well they produce national statistics, comparability has become the most important dimension recently. In this reason, Statistics Korea try to rating quality level and development comparability index for national statistics. This paper propose the practical method of grading the quality level and developing the comparability index of the national statistics.

Recently, in the whole fields of industry including shipping business, the conception and importance of Human Factor is very highly and frequently emphasized. But the domestic crew disaster including injury and illness in our shipping business shows higher accident rate than other shipping countries. Therefore the developing of measurec to prevent/reduce the accident is highly required as the marine accident including crew disaster cause enormous loss of property and human life in size and scale. But, because the domestic data regarding the crew accident are relatively insufficient and rare, the developing of these measures has many difficulties. Therefore, this study is to make the concerning data for the useful reference by showing the trend and current situation of crew accidents, assorted by the crew's rank, type of the accident, injured part of the body, cause of the accident, type of ships and type of the works when the accident occurred, by using the each ocean-going shipping company's recent 5 years('95∼'99) data in korea.

Linepipe steels with a low carbon acicular ferrite microstructure have been recently developed to accommodate the current transportation condition of the gas and oil industry, and they are finally applied to West- East pipeline project in China. By adopting acicular microstructure, both better formability and better toughness could be obtained due to low yield ratio and fine grained microstructure. Mechanical properties of pipe are not greatly different from those of base plates or hot coils with a microstructure of acicular ferrite. Merits of introducing higher strength steels are well known, i.e., reducing the gauge of pipe and the material cost, increasing the welding speed and decreasing construction cost because of reducing the construction period. Threfore, gas and oil industry has required higher strength steel than APIX70 grade steel. Under this background, API-X80 steel has been developed and shall be applied to the several projects. In this paper, developing stage of API-X80 steel is also presented and discussed.

This paper discussed the use of the urban greening space beside nature land----special sites of urban Greening. Consider: the special sites of urban greening are referred to the space formed by urban building and framing, where plants can grow under natural or artificial condition. Filly using those spaces will efficiently increase green area, improving ecological environment and landscape in urban area. A classification to special sites of urban greening was put forward, which are the habits of plant combine with the form of buildings. The present status and future trends on urban greening at special sites was discussed and analyzed. Consider: there are two developing trends of the research of urban greening at special sites. Firstly, it is more naturalize and ecologize greening landscape. Secondly, It will take form a techologize in the process of constructing and materials.

As sensors such as Inertial Measurement Unit, cameras, and Light Detection and Rangings have become cheaper and smaller, research has been actively conducted to implement functions automating micro aerial vehicles such as multirotor type drones. This would fully enable the autonomous flight of drones in the real world without human intervention. In this article, we present a survey of state-of-the-art development on autonomous drones. To build an autonomous drone, the essential components can be classified into pose estimation, environmental perception, and obstacle-free trajectory generation. To describe the trend, we selected three leading research groups-University of Pennsylvania, ETH Zurich, and Carnegie Mellon University-which have demonstrated impressive experiment results on automating drones using their estimation, perception, and trajectory generation techniques. For each group, we summarize the core of their algorithm and describe how they implemented those in such small-sized drones. Finally, we present our up to date research status on developing an autonomous drone.

Recently, online grocery shopping has been increasing with the development of internet, mobile, and IT technology due to the proportion of consumers changes like increasing single households and double-income couples. Therefore, online sales from distributors with offline stores have also increased, and the offline retailers are facing their limits in dealing with store-based online channel they have carried out. Domestic offline retailers benchmarked overseas advanced retailers to solve this problem by reviewing about developing the online-only distribution center. However, much investment is needed in order to operate the distribution center with the new concept from abroad. In this study, we have reviewed the current online grocery market trend and the theory related to developing distribution system of the online mall. For offline retailers, we have reviewed the case which developed the distribution center applied to the nation's first online-only distribution center. The purpose of this study is reducing trial and error for local retailers in developing online-only distribution centers and suggesting ways to improve investment effect.

Following the developing tendency of the food service industry, people are showing a high interest in cooking and the number of applicant trying to learn how to cook is increasing gradually. In this research, we have concluded that developing a menu, we are to standardize its cost accounting correctly so as to reduce problems which can occur during the process to commercialize food. We have to research on the quality of food changing so fast and to develop proper food to suit both the oriental and occidental taste. Since fresh ingredients such as olive oil which has much unsaturated fatty acid, tomato, and fish etc. is usually used in making Italian food, especially the moderns love it very much. The reason is that eating fatty food such as meat and fish with tomato, we can digest it well in our stomach. Tomato play an important role to neutralize the effects of acid food. It has Vitamin B1 dissolving fat, rutin strengthening capillary vessels and controlling high blood pressure, amino acid developing mental activity, iron essential to blood formation, and calcium etc. These ingredients play important roles to control geriatric diseases. The new style of the propensity to consume in the class of new generation and new family, the trend towards the nuclear family, and the rapid expansion of aging have influences on westernizing diet and on spreading new sense of values such as rapidness, convenience, cleanliness, and simplicity for diet. Following the change of the times, the food service industry will be developed more and more.
