This Study deals with the problem of determining a minimum cost sampling inspection plan for destructive testing by attribute. The linear cost model(LCM) is constructed under the assumption that unit cost, destructive testing cost, producer's risk cost, consumer's risk cost are given. For the solution from the LCM, we assumed the uniform distribution as a prior distribution.

This study investigates the effect of conflict resolution methods on the IS outsourcing performance. A survey of 207 IS oursourcing relationship of U.S. firms indicates that(1) constructive/proactive methods, such as joint problem solving, is positively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships, and that (2) destructive/passive methods, such as persuasion, smoothing/avoiding, domination, and use of harsh words are negatively related to the success of IS outsourcing relationships. The findings suggest that the manner in which conflict is resolved can be productive or destructive for the IS outsourcing performance.

Development on non-destructive testing methods were performed to evaluate the effectiveness of crack repair for test beams induced a crack. Cracked beams are repaired with expoxy and microcement, and then they are tested by two methods, the ultrasonic pulse velocity method and the transfer function method. It is proved that the ultrasonic pulse velocity method is very valid for the evaluation of the effectiveness on expoxy repair, and the transfer function method is very applicable to evaluate the effectiveness on microcement repair.

Non-destructive field tests of the concrete has achieved increasing acceptance for the evaluation of existing concrete structures. As two major testing methods, this paper recommends the proper empirical relationship between the rebound number together with the ultrasonic pulse velocity and the core strength to fit the old concrete bridges in Korea.

Reconstruction of the radial two-dimensional of fission products using projections obtained by nondestructive transversal direction gamma scanning was evaluated, and then compared with the destructive sectional gamma scanning results. Although the nondestructive method has a little drawback compared to the destructive method in the accuracy, the former seemed to be sufficiently applicable.

The joint treatment of concrete is one of the technical problems in top down construction method. Joints created wit the top down construction result in serous weakness from the aspects of both structural and water-barrier function. Several case studies for the insepction of top down construction joints of column in SRC structure using radar and infrared thermography method. The advantages and limitations of these methods for non-destructive inspection in top own construction joints are investigated.

A rectifying inspection plan is considered for the case of destructive testing. Screening inspection for rejected lots is performed by some nondestructive testing which is prone to misclassification errors. Apparent defectives found in the screening process is replaced with apparent good items. The plan provides LTPD protection on each individual lot while the sum of the cost of testing and the cost due to producer's risk at process average quality is minimized. A brief discussion on average outgoing quality is also given.

Non-destructive method by tomography for safety diagnosis of civil engineering and building structures is tried. There are traveltime tomography that uses traveltime and fullwave tomography that uses the initial shock and seismic amplitude. But these methods have difficulty and weak points in accuracy and selection of initial value. In this study, corrected inversion method which is able to solve the two difficulty and this method is applied to theoretical pier model to calculate tomography.

This study is aimed to investigate the strength variation of fire-damaged reinforced concrete column with polypropylene by non-destructive test. It is studied to infer the recovery degree of residual strength of fire-damaged concrete. For measuring the surface hardness of RC columns, Schmidt hammer test is used. Testing is performed four-times: before fire test, directly after fire test, after 30 days and after 4 months.
