The purpose of this study is to extract the rage on exterior colors of Elementary schools in harmony with natural colors as the colors of sky and trees, of Which the colors is basically composing the natural environment. The theory of harmony in NCS relatively expressing the changed colors according to the color stimulation condition is the contrast of same color fit for the nature. NCS has a systematic open mind considering parts in the whole. The study suggests appropriate strategy for Eco-color scheme. The result shows that it's desirable to select YR Group in the elementray school of exterior color design, The Eco color planned by NCS is expected to clarify the interrelationship between children and environment. This practical use should be continuingly tried in the color design of interior for elementary schools.
Since the effect of environmental education at class using textbooks or materials related to environment is limited, the importance of activities for field experience is getting increased day by day. Thereby, the education tends to change into the type of education providing students with direct environmental experience. Students attending the science high school have excellent aptitude and ability for science and will lead the development of science in the future. Now it is urgent to develop various experiential programs which are helpful for them to establish desirable values on environment. However, the field of environmental education that allows science high school students equipped with ample environmental knowledge to improve environment sensitivity and have proper environment awareness is quite restricted as of now. Natural exploration activities are the programs which provide science high school students having lack of chance for environmental education with good opportunities to contact nature and also play significant roles in arousing their interest in issues related with environment. Therefore, it is thought that they will let science high school students explore the natural features of Korea, understand the importance of preserving environment and ecosystem profoundly, and encourage environmental awareness and will of environmental practice. Thereupon, with the study subjects of 121 first and second graders at U Science High School, this article analyzed their recognition of the necessity for environmental education and environmental pollution problems before and after the natural exploration activities, and conducted a survey on their satisfaction after the natural exploration activities and analyzed it. The result of this research is as follows. First, it was shown that the natural exploration activities were effective to raise the science high school students' awareness of issues related with environmental pollution. Second, the natural exploration activities had effect upon enhancing the students' willingness of environmental practice. Third, there was statistically significant correlation between the science high school students' satisfaction with the natural exploration activities and their achievement in the science subject. Fourth, there also was a statistically non or weakness significant correlation between their satisfaction with the natural exploration activities and preference for the science subject. In particular, it was found that students preferring biology indicated higher satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the daily stress and stress coping behavior of elementary school children. The subjects for this study were 372 children fourth, fifth and sixth graders from an elementary school in Pusan. We adopted Won - Joo Chung's research instrument (1997) for measuring stress and coping behavior in this study. Statistical techniques such as frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, order, and Pearson correlation were used to examine the research questions of this study. The results of this study were as follows: 1. The most common instance of stress to be experienced by all children was the stress from school life, followed by social pressures, individual pressures and family environment. 2. A positive revaluation was the most commonly used stress-coping behavior, followed by behavioral mood conversion, spiritual support, problem-facing behavior, an information search for problem-solving, physical separation for emotional relaxation, avoidance, emotional aggressiveness and emotional expression. 3. Stress-coping behavior had a positive and significant correlation with the stress score(r = .4391, p= .000). In conclusion, the stress from school life was the most common experienced by all children. While independent effort in problem-solving was unsufficient, stress coping behavior had positive results. Therefore, this study verified the necessity of minimizing the stress children experience from school life and of helping them attain desirable stress-coping behaviors.
The purpose of this study is to investigate thel present situation and to analyze the needs and problems of the $\ulcorner$Environment$\lrcorner$ subject in secondary school of the current 6th curriculum in Korea and to indicate the directions of improvement environmental education. The first step of this research was to review the related literature and the result indicated that the number of secondary schools that selected $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject and the teachers who have $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ certification of a second-major has increased yearly but it shows much difference by regions. The second step was questionnaire surveys on 60 $\ulcorner$Environment$\lrcorner$ teachers in secondary school. According to the survey, 65% of teachers are not certificated and 50% of teachers have no self-confidence of teaching. And most of teachers thought it was difficult to select the modules out of textbook and teachers had difficulties such as the lack of appropriate reference materials and instructive experience of their own instructive experience of active researches. The third step was the questionnaire survey on a students group(606) learning the $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject and a students group(621) without the $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject in secondary school. The group learning $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject showed significantly higher scores than those of the group without $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject in most items. And among the students having $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject, the first year students achieved the highest score, and it revealed that the teaching was most effective to them. The suggestions based on the results of this study are as follows. First, the uncertifiable teachers currently teaching $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject should be given priority to the second-major certificate training program ; which are diverse in contents according to differences of majors and levels. Second, specific and practical re-training programs for the certificated teachers teaching the subject are needed. Third, considerable and continual adjustment of the textbook yearly is required in addition to regular curriculum amendment. Fourth, the more efficient and actual teaching.learning methods of $\ulcorner$environment$\lrcorner$ subject education that can attract students' interest must be developed. Fifth, it is most desirable to have first year students select the subject.
The introduction of zirconia-based materials to the dental field broadened the design and application limits of, all-ceramic restorations. Most ceramic restorations are adhesively luted to the prepared tooth, however, resin bonding to zirconia components is less reliable than those to other dental ceramic systems. It is important for high retention, prevention of microleakage, and increased fracture resistance, that bonding techniques be improved for zirconia systems. Strong resin bonding relies on micromechanical interlocking and adhesive chemical bonding to the ceramic surface, requiring surface roughening for mechanical bonding and surface activation for chemical adhesion. In many cases, high strength ceramic restorations do not require adhesive bonding to tooth structure and can be placed using conventional cements which rely only on micromechanical retention. However, resin bonding is desirable in some clinical situations. In addition, it is likely that strong chemical adhesion would lead to enhanced long-term fracture and fatigue resistance in the oral environment.

Purpose: This study was done to identify factors that influence sexual permissiveness. A comprehensive analysis of individual, family, and social factors related to sexual permissiveness in adolescents was done. Method: A descriptive research design was used to explore causal relationships in sexual permissiveness between high school students. Result: The findings of this study are as follows. 1) For individual factors, self-respect. seeking social deviation and seeking internal experience were confirmed as factors influencing sexual permissiveness. 2) For the family factors, the mother-adolescent communication aspect was confirmed as a factor. 3) For the social environment factors. adaptability to school life was confirmed as a factor. Conclusion: On a theoretical basis, this study identifies factors influencing sexual permissiveness in adolescents, and thus contributes to the definition of a desirable sexual culture for young people. Therefore, it is suggested that programs be developed that control the corroborated factors and that further studies be conducted to validate the factors.
Purpose: Due to recent increase on energy consumption for light in building, many studies to mitigate this issue have been conducted. Various researches have been carried out to suggest light shelf as one of the solutions, but researches for its reflectivity is very few. In fact, existing research on light shelf shows that utilizing more than 90% of high-illumination materials causes imbalance of glare and illuminance. Method: Therefore this research aimed to evaluate the performance of light shelves depending on reflectivity and to identify proper solution through test-bed. Result: The results are following: 1) Increased reflectivity generally contributed to increase of indoor illuminance but degrade uniformity factor related with indoor comfort of light environment. 2) The $0^{\circ}fixed$ light shelf with 75% of reflectivity and width of 300mm and 40mm appeared to consume more energy than other shelves. Therefore, it is analyzed as unsuitable. 3) This research was conducted by calculating appropriate angle of light shelf around winter and summer solstices and vernal/autumnal equinox. Based on this, performance evaluation was undertaken depending on reflectivity of movable light shelf, which is activated by external sources and can be applied with lower reflectivity than fixed shelf. However, one exception was a movable shelf with width of 600mm that increased light energy consumption when 75% of reflectivity was applied. 4) Performance evaluation of fixed and movable light shelf showed that the shelf with 80% of reflectivity came up with suitable results, but 75% of reflectivity may be applied depending on the width and angle of the shelf. This research is meaningful in that estimation of appropriate reflectivity of light shelf can resolve the glare problem and improve light environment, and further research would be desirable under more diverse conditions to identify proper solution.
This research has dual purposes. First, it was designed to determine the level of children's spatial environment in the residences, thereby, to make a vision for children's furniture as an industrial design product. Second, it was intened to find out the children's perceptual pattern toward the furniture, thereby to give some implications for future design development. For the second purpose, descriptors were screened with construct validity and their factor structure was identified. The subjects were 1,197 children from 1st grade of elemantary school through 3rd grade of middle school, and their 1,197 parents for the first purpose, and 560 children from 6th grades of elemantary school and 3rd grade of middle school for the second purpose. The first parts of findings were 1) present interests of parents of household above middle income level in Seoul in making their children's spatial environment desirable is quite high. 2) Space segregation stage in terms of physical and conceptual aspects showed very fast development, that is, there will have been very good changes for children's room to be a very well furnished and independent space for them. 3) Children's opinions were quite well reflected when purchasing the present furniture, and this tendency seemed to be more likely happend in future. These findings mentioned above gave and confirmed the visions for future children's furnished environment. The second parts of findings were such that the perceptual pattern for furniture by children showed aesthetic design appearance, functionality and durability, and the characteristic of line. This result impliated especially that designers should be every careful to manipulate or use the line of the furniture products. The 22 representative descriptors selected can be used as an evaluation instrument for furniture products.

This study aimed to address problems and suggest solutions in applying seed mixture design criterior of the slope revegetation works according to "The guidelines of Slope revegetation design and construction" proposed by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation. To do this, the planting thickness was set to be the same 2cm while the composition of seeds was made different, which was planted in artificial slopes and fields. The main results were summarized as follows. In the test, when applying the provisional standards of the plant mixtures proposed by the Ministry of Construction and Transportation, tree seeds and native plants were found poor coverage effect in the early stage in all test plots due to introduced grasses. This was because introduced winter grasses which grew well in the early stage, could grow densely, so it might hamper the growth of other plants. Therefore, it was found desirable that standards for seed mixing should be adjusted down by 10% and the ratio of introduced grasses in the mixture should be lowered to 25% while native plants should increase to 20-25%.

In this study, the new particulate matter emissions considering condensable PM (CPM) of stationary pollutant sources were calculated to modify the CAPSS emissions based on only filterable PMs in Seoul and Incheon. When the new calculated emissions were compared to the existing filterable PM based emissions of local governments, different contribution patterns of emission sources were found. For example, the proportion of mobile sources was high when the filterable PM was considered; however, the contribution of non-industrial sources was dominant in Seoul when the emissions of CPM were considered. Also, the proportion of energy industrial combustion and manufacturing combustion sources was significant in Incheon when CPM emissions considered. Therefore, it seems to be much desirable to consider CPM emissions for determining adequate locations of collective energy facilities and manufacturing combustion facilities in the future. In addition, CPM should be considered to solve the dust problem nationwide. The emission analysis, diagnosis, prediction and countermeasures using CPM emissions should be appropriately performed.
