Time management is one of the critical tasks in project management. Based on the theories of total quality management, this authors presented a project time management method, total time management (TTM), so as to facilitate highway project time management. This paper discussed the four fundamental characteristics of TTM: total factors management, staff management, project life cycle management, and Plan-Do-Check-Action (PDCA) cycle management. Now, most managers use computer software to manage the project. In order to make the theory of TTM more executable, the authors develop a project time management system suitable for TTM. This paper presents this time management system's analysis processes including system requirement, key functions etc..

This study introduce a architectural design process by the changes of sustainable design guidelines in public project. First of all, this study examines existing integrated design process studies performed by Rhee & U.B.C. Also, this study examines sustainable guidelines which demanded by public building projects. Then, this study introduces sustainable design process using existing sustainable design process, and shows that how to operate and proceed integrated design to satisfy the sustainable guidelines in practice. The results of this study are as follows. (1) Since 2007, sustainable design guidelines of bidding projects have been highlighted. (2) In public buildings, energy saving is very important issue. Especially energy certification demands 1st degree(under $300kWh/m^2{\cdot}yr$). (3) Inp ractice, integrated design team performed sustainable design using the sustainable design process to improve sustainable in public buildings.

This paper explores and proposes the evaluation criteria of design projects in the entry-level design course. In the entry-level engineering design course the students proceeds various design projects to understand the concept of engineering design process and to develop the creativity. The evaluation criteria of design projects is very important component because the outcome of students in the engineering design course are effected from the evaluation criteria that enforces the students to focus on doing their task. According to this case study the evaluation criteria can be good solution to evaluate the design projects. By the outcome standard of ABEEK on the entry-level engineering design course the evaluation criteria was selected with the results of design projects such as design plan, report, handicrafts, objectives.

During the construction project period, a lot of change orders happen in the design and construction stage Especially, The change order during construction stage causes the huge construction cost increase and duration delay. Accordingly, research on the change order of the construction stage is being progressed relatively active in the design stage, but the design changes are rarely made. In the design stage, the owner has to pay a design addition cost when change order due to the demands of owner happens. However Korea has not the specific standard about design additional cost in design stage. Therefore, this study analyzes problems of design additional cost estimation methods through the case study, and then indicates the method that the ratio distributes to details dividing design tasks and the method of the PM(Project Management). Eventually, this study expects to minimize claim related the design additional cost in design stage.

최근의 공공건설공사는 정부의 건설기술진흥기본계획에 따라 설계${\cdot}$발주가 증가되고 있는 경향이며 공사규모가 대형화, 복잡화, 다양화 되어가고 있다. 발주자의 요구조건이 점차 다양해지고 있는 것과, 설계적격 심의에 대비하여 기본설계가 과설계되어 제안되는 것은 예산낭비의 요소를 내포하고 있다. 따라서 발주자는 사업의 예산절감을 위하여 실시설계단계에서의 경제성 검토를 요구하고 있으나 현행 설계${\cdot}$시공일괄공사에서는 총액계약의 특성에 따른 계약당사자간의 입장차이고 당초 기대했던 VE적용의 효과를 거두지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 일괄공사에서 기본설계의 과설계 등에 대한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 실시설계단계에서 효율적으로 VE를 적용할 수 있는 방안을 제시하는 것에 있다. 이를 위하여 일괄공사에서의 VE적용사례를 조사${\cdot}$분석하여 적용방안을 설정하였고, 설문조사에 의한 유용성검증을 통하여 VE제도 및 계약적 측면, 사업참여주체별 측면, 설계VE운용적 측면에서의 적용방안을 제안하였다.

현대 도시공간은 단순주거환경에서 문화, 복지, 환경을 포괄하는 다기능 충족공간으로 급격하게 패러다임이 변화하고 있으며, 이러한 요구에 따라 문화적 이미지의 가치 창출에 대한 필요성과 질적인 성장관리가 중요한 이슈로 대두되고 있는 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 복합공간개발계획에 있어 문화콘텐츠를 개발 도입한 성공사례의 연구 분석을 통해 각 개발 사례별로 문화콘텐츠영역을 추출하여 문화콘텐츠와 공간이 어떻게 연계되어 새로운 복합문화공간으로 조성될 수 있는지 살펴본다 또한 각 개발사례별 PM(Project management)과 PMr (Project Manager)의 범위와 역할에 대한 분석을 바탕으로 통합적이고 체계적인 관리시스템의 중요성을 인식한다. 따라서 이러한 PM과 PMr의 타당성에 대한 인식과 더불어 다양한 복합문화공간개발에 있어서 통합적 계획과 관리시스템으로 가장 효과적인 방법인 PM의 적용이 향후 복합공간개발의 질적인 향상을 가능하게 하는 새로운 대안의 기반이 될 것으로 기대한다.

최근 국내 대기업들은 세분화된 팀조직을 그룹조직으로 확대 운영함으로서 프로젝트업무의 유동성과 조직 인력활용의 유연성을 가져왔지만 프로젝트를 추진함에 있어 의사소통체계가 복잡해지게 되는 문제가 발생하게 되었다. 대부분 대기업들이 사용하는 전사적 자원관리시스템은 정보배포에 초점을 맞추고 있어 그룹 내 프로젝트관리 의사소통의 문제를 효율적으로 해결하지 못하고 있는 것으로 조사되었다. 본 연구에서는 국내 제조건설 분야 대기업에 적용할 수 있는 그룹프로젝트관리 지원을 위한 웹 기반 정보보고시스템(WIRS : Webbased Information Reporting System)을 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하였다. WIRS 구현을 통해 대규모 프로젝트의 시작에서부터 종료까지 소그룹 내 신속하고 원활한 의사소통 지원이 가능하게 되었고 전사적자원관리시스템의 커뮤니케이션 역량을 보완할 수 있게 된 데에 본 연구의 의의가 있다. 구체적으로 WIRS의 기능 설정하기 위해 현장 요구조사를 실시하였고 조사 결과를 바탕으로 데이터베이스를 설계하고 WIRS 프로세스 모델 설정을 위한 분석 및 기획을 수행하였다. 결과물에 대한 사용자 피드백은 대체로 긍정적이었으며, 특히 프로젝트 진행 관련 웹상에서 보고가 이루어진다는 점, 일일메모를 통하여 주간 보고서와 월간보고서가 자동적으로 생성된다는 점, 지시생성 및 일정정보공유기능 등을 긍정적으로 평가되었다.

Purpose: The purpose of this study to determine the effect of distribution transformational and transactional project manager leadership style on the extra-role performance of project team members using multi-level modelling analysis. Research design, data and methodology: The role of psychological factors as the mediating variable namely is self-efficacy in the effect of project manager's leadership style on the project team members' performance was also studied using the Monte Carlo bootstrapping method. The sample of the study consisting of 370 project team members from 74 contractors registered with the Construction Industry Development Board in the Klang Valley was selected using a simple random sampling and a survey using a questionnaire. Results: The findings showed that the transformational leadership of project managers was a dominant predictor of extra-role performance of project team members. Furthermore, the study show the self-efficacy of project team members acted as a mediator in the relationship between transformational and transactional leadership of project manager leadership on the extra-role performance of project team members. Conclusions: The findings are expected to be used by the relevant parties in planning, arranging and implementing efforts to improve the work performance and ensure that projects are implemented according to the specified specifications.
