도로교설계기준(한계상태설계법)의 콘크리트부재 설계를 위한 재료계수 결정법 및 신뢰도 분석 (New Approaches for Calibrating Material Factors of Reinforced Concrete Members in Korean Highway Bridge Design Code (Limit State Design) and Reliability Analysis)

  • 이 연구에서는 국내 도로교 한계상태설계법에서 콘크리트부재의 설계를 위하여 적용하고 있는 재료계수의 문제점을 제기하고, 잘 정립된 최적화 과정에 의한 재료계수를 제안하였다. 신뢰도분석을 통하여 현 설계기준의 하중계수와 제안 재료계수가 목표신뢰도지수 보다 높은 신뢰도수준을 확보하고 있음을 보이고, 역신뢰도해석을 통하여 목표신뢰도지수를 잘 근사할 수 있는 하중계수를 제시하였다. 유로코드에서 제시하고 있는 기본 개념에 근거하여 신뢰도기반 하중-재료계수 결정법을 정식화하였다. 제안된 접근법이 신뢰도개념에 의하여 유도되었지만, 이 접근법에 의하여 계산된 하중-재료 계수가 목표신뢰도지수를 정확히 만족시키지 못하는 요인으로서 재료와 부재간에 존재하는 불확실성의 차이를 지적하고, 이러한 차이를 고려하지 않는 유로코드의 개념적 문제점을 제기하였다.

Global seismic damage assessment of high-rise hybrid structures

  • Nowadays, many engineers believe that hybrid structures with reinforced concrete central core walls and perimeter steel frames offer an economical method to develop the strength and stiffness required for seismic design. As a result, a variety of such structures have recently been applied in actual construction. However, the performance-based seismic design of such structures has not been investigated systematically. In the performance-based seismic design, quantifying the seismic damage of complete structures by damage indices is one of the fundamental issues. Four damage states and the final softening index at each state for high-rise hybrid structures are suggested firstly in this paper. Based on nonlinear dynamic analysis, the relation of the maximum inter-story drift, the main structural characteristics, and the final softening index is obtained. At the same time, the relation between the maximum inter-story drift and the maximum roof displacement over the height is also acquired. A double-variable index accounting for maximum deformation and cumulative energy is put forward based on the pushover analysis. Finally, a case study is conducted on a high-rise hybrid structure model tested on shaking table before to verify the suggested quantities of damage indices.

  • 본 연구에서는 InGaAsP/InP RWG MQW-LD를 제작하기 앞서 이론해석으로부터 RWG MQW-LD의 도파로규격에 따른 측방향 유효굴절율차와 index-guided LD로 동작하는 임계 유효굴절율차의 값, 그리고 이러한 굴절율차에 따른 측방향에서의 단일모드 발진조건과 임계전류를 최소로 하기 위한 ridge 폭을 구하여 도파로를 설계하였다. 이론해석으로 부터는 순수한 index-guided LD로 동작하기 위한 측방향 임계 유효굴절율차 값은 일반적인 bulk층 보다는 약 2배 정도 큰 값인 약 0.015이었으며 도파로 설계에 있어서는 유효굴절율차가 0.015이며 측방향단일모드로 동작하기 위해서는 ridge 폭은 약 4.mu.m이하가 되어야 함을 알 수 있었다. 그리고 이때 임계전류값이 최소가 됨을 지적하였다.

터널 붕괴 위험도 지수(KTH-index)에 기반한 터널 설계안의 정량적 사전 위험도 시뮬레이션 (Quantitative preliminary hazard level simulation for tunnel design based on the KICT tunnel collapse hazard index (KTH-index))

  • 이전 연구를 통하여 터널 굴진에 따른 터널 막장의 붕괴 위험에 대한 잠재 수준을 정량적으로 평가하기 위한 툴인 KTH-index(KICT Tunnel Collapse Hazard index) 지수화된 위험도 수준 표현 툴을 개발한바 있으며, 이는 다수의 시공현장에 성공적으로 적용되어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 제안된 터널 위험도 지수를 기반으로 수행된 터널 설계안의 전 종단구간에 대해 정량적인 위험도 수준을 시뮬레이션 하는 새로운 설계안 적정성 평가 방법을 제안하였다. 본 KTH-index 기반 시뮬레이션에서 가장 중요한 것은 시뮬레이션을 위한 입력항목의 결정이며, 대부분의 설계안 관련 항목과 시공관련 항목은 직접적으로 설계안으로부터 결정될 수 있으나, 불명확한 지반조건은 설계 당시 때 수행된 시추조사와 전기비저항 탐사를 기초로 준비된다. 이때, 낙관적 시나리오와 비관적 시나리오에 기반한 터널 종단 지반조건 시나리오가 설정되었다. 이러한 위험도 시뮬레이션을 통해서, 시뮬레이션 대상 설계안에 대한 위험도 수준을 사전에 파악할 수 있었으며, 사전에 파악된 요 주의구간은 시공단계와 연결시켜 시공 중 계측이나 막장관찰 시에 요긴하게 활용될 수 있는 정보를 제공할 수 있음을 확인하였다.

특허정보의 효율적 활용을 위한 통합형 특허지표 설계 (Design of Consolidated Patent Index for Effective Utilization of Patent Information)

  • This paper presents a consolidated patent index to measure national technology innovation and science technology activation, as well as index for the main constituent such as corporation, research organization by comprehensive analysis of existing patent index. It is classified by macroscopic index and analytical index in the consolidated patent index, in which macroscopic index is to present a degree of innovation in national scientific innovation and is divided into the Consolidated Patent Index and Index for comparison between countries. The analytical index basically designed to measure R&D activity by the main constituent is divided to present by quantitative index utilizing bibliographical data in patent and other technical publication related therein, and qualitative index for analysis of bibliographical data. In this paper, the Consolidated Patent Index is presented by adding Creation Index representing for patent by developing excellent technology, Evaluation Index representing valuable technology thereof, and Utility Index representing applicability diffused.

반응표면모델과 공정능력지수를 적용한 로워암 설계변수의 공차최적화 (Tolerance Optimization of Design Variables in Lower Arm by Using Response Surface Model and Process Capability Index)

  • In the lower arm design process, a tolerance optimization of the variance of design variables should be preceded before manufacturing process, since it is very cost-effective compared to a strict management of tolerance of products. In this study, a design of experiment (DOE) based on response surface model (RSM) was carried out to find optimized design variables of the lower arm, which can meet a given requirement of probability constraint for the process capability index (Cpk) of the weight and maximum stress. Then, the design space was explored by using the central composite design method, in which the 2nd order Taylor expansion was applied to predict a standard deviation of the responses. The optimal solutions satisfying the probability constraint of the Cpk were found by considering both of the mean value and the standard deviation of the design variables.

고안정 전류제어 전원장치 (A Highly Stable Current-Controlled Power Supply)

  • A design of a highly stable current-controlled power supply combining the phase-controlled rectifier (PCR), passive filter and active filter is investigated. A digital phase-looked voltage control (PLVC) with a capability of compensating the thyristor firing angles under unvalanced power source is proposed` otherwise the PCR output voltage has low-order subharmonics whose suppression requires a bulky passive filter. The digital PLVC has a fast dynamic characteristics as an inner control loop of the PCR. To suppress further the output ripple, an active filter using a transformer is introduced and its design is described through the frequency domain analysis. An optimal integral, proportional and measurable variable feedback (IPM) controller is designed using the time-weighted performance index based on the time domain analysis. The design method based on the time-weighted performance index gives better response characteristics than that based on the conventional performance index. It is also shown via experimental results that the proposed scheme gives better response characteristics than that based on the conventional performance index. 강인한 이산관측기 설계 (Robust Discrete-Time Observer Design)

  • The authors have shown that the performance of discrete-time observer-based monitoring systems can be represented by the performance index k$_2$(P) (condition number of the eigensystem P of the observer matrix in terms of L$_2$ norm). The observers with the minimized performance index can be defined as robust observers in the sense that the observer performance can be guaranteed in harsh environments. In this paper, based on the performance index, a design methodology for the robust discrete-time observer is developed. Similar to the continuous-time case, the methodology determines the structure and eigenvalues of the observer matrix simultaneously. A complete design procedure is given for single-output case and is illustrated with a spindle-driver example. The simulation results demonstrate the improved performance compared with a traditional pole-placement observer technique.

  • Recent trends in design standards development have encouraged the use of probabilistic limit sate design concepts. Reliability analysis adopted in those advanced countries have the potentials that they afford for symplifying the design Process arid placing it on a consistent reliability based for various construction materials. This study is proposed in the reliability analysis of plane frame structures using second-order moment method(Level-II they). Lind-Hasofer's minimum distance method is use in the derivation of an mathematical algorithm as well as an determination of Correlation cofficients, reliability index and total reliability index depending on the multiple failure modes. In addition. This study is employed as a practical tool for the approximate reliability analysis. Results of the numerincal analysis showed that the difference between the reliability index of the failure probability of the multiple failure modes and the total reliability index of the failure probability with the simultaneous failure modes deviated nearly 3∼10% depending on tile performance functions.

  • In the course of studying the design of securing the 100-year-long durability of 100 years the subway structure according to the requested service by the Seoul Metropolitan Subway Construction Headquarters, we analyzed 14 construction sites adopting the durability design in subway line No. 9 and concluded as follows: 1. When comparing with 158, the environment index presented for securing 100-year-long durability of subway structure in subway line No. 9, the index of durability was verified as 159.7$\~$179.8 2. When examining the increase value of durability index, we verified that the constructors didn't make various choices in method but they employed the uniformly selected system. 3. Under consideration of the bid form, the construction under bid contract in bulk gave the impacts on the construction cost with attention to selection of the durability index, while the construction under alternative contract in bid adopted uniformly the standard presented by the ordering party.
