  • In this study, the factors affecting the acceptance intention for level 4-5 of autonomous vehicles were investigated by applying TAM(Technology Acceptance Model). To this end, 332 ordinary persons interested in autonomous vehicle and experienced in driving car were analyzed by using SEM(Structural Equation Modeling). The results showed that self-efficacy and personal innovation had a positive effect on perceived usefulness. On the other hand personal innovation has been shown to have a negative effect on perceived usefulness. Perceived ease of use has a positive effect on perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and perceived usefulness has a positive effect on acceptance intention. Safety and Privacy has been shown to have a positive effect on trust, trust has a positive effect on acceptance intention. Lastly, autonomous vehicles have a higher impact on their 20s and 30s. The result of this study is expected to be a very useful basic research for the development of target autonomous vehicles, the selection of targets, the direction of corporate marketing strategies, and the preparation of government policies.

  • In this paper, we propose a maximum entropy-based model, which can mathematically explain the bio-molecular event extraction problem. The proposed model generates an event table, which can represent the relationship between an event trigger and its arguments. The complex sentences with distinctive event structures can be also represented by the event table. Previous approaches intuitively designed a pipeline system, which sequentially performs trigger detection and arguments recognition, and thus, did not clearly explain the relationship between identified triggers and arguments. On the other hand, the proposed model generates an event table that can represent triggers, their arguments, and their relationships. The desired events can be easily extracted from the event table. Experimental results show that the proposed model can cover 91.36% of events in the training dataset and that it can achieve a 50.44% recall in the test dataset by using the event table.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between cyber leisure activity and autonomic function in high school students. Methods: The subjects of this study were 242 second graders at high school located in D city. The research design was descriptive correlation study. Data were collected from August 26 to September 17, 2010, using a cyber leisure questionnaire and heart rate variability (SA-6000, Medicore, Korea) for autonomic function. Results: Total time for the cyber leisure activity was $391.3{\pm}262.0$ (min/week). Time for internet usage and computer game was $234.5{\pm}140.1$ (min/week) and $156.8{\pm}164.3$ (min/week), respectively. There were significant positive correlation between total cyber leisure time and sympathetic activity (r=.247, $p$ <.001). Conclusion: Excessive cyber leisure activity could increase sympathetic activities in high school students. Thus, nursing intervention to reduce the total cyber leisure time will be helpful to improve their neurophysiological status.

  • Digital makeup(DM), depending upon computer graphic softwares, is applied to various fields, e.g. character works in movie and game industries and visual printouts in printing works. Focused on makeup field, DM is extremely conducive to developing, scientizing and informationalizing makeup patterns. Despite of unlimited potential of DM of which market size has been growing day by day, its practical use by domestic makeup experts and educators is much less active than expected as far, due to the lack of knowledge accumulation. The purpose of this study is to suggest some theoretical frameworks to generalize DM techniques and analyze two cases using the frames therefore support academicians' recent efforts to theorize DM techniques. The study 1) defines and categorizes the concepts of DM and DFX(digital special effect); 2) reviews the literature relevant to DM and generalizes the types and methods of DM techniques; 3) applies general frames to analyzing two movie cases, famous for their DM effects; 4) then suggests, based upon analytical results, some efficient ways for makeup experts to use DM techniques in practice. This study contributes to providing the theoretical grounds to conceptualize DM thus broadening makeup artists' interests in DM and awakening the scholarly concerns in cultural technology including DM.

  • Considering the frustration affordability level of college entrants and investigating the frustration tolerance of undergraduates in Shenyang City University, this paper provides the basis for the research of improving frustration tolerance of undergraduates through quantitative research results and applies film therapy to the frustration regulation of college students by discussing the role of film therapy in improving frustration affordability ability of college entrants. This paper has concluded that the necessary of improving the frustration tolerance of college students in Northeast China and the feasibility of the film therapy programs on improving the frustration tolerance of college students in Northeast China. Meanwhile, this paper shows that the principle of film selection in film therapy should be based on the requirements of the aesthetics of the film industry in the IT environment. This paper provides a reference for refining the target of film therapy for film therapists to better apply film and television psychotherapy technology, and a basis for the film therapy activity program; Furthermore, it also has a certain reference significance for film and television media workers.

  • The convergence of mobile communications and handheld computers offers the opportunity to develop technology that will assist individuals and groups to learn anytime, anywhere. In this thesis, we suggest a learning model for educational mobile contents, and implement a mobile contents for English vocabulary learning. The mobile contents consist of two parts: vocabulary learning and vocabulary evaluation. The vocabulary learning provides the mobile learner not only the display of English vocabulary but also the pronunciation of native speaker. The degree of learning achievement is evaluated by the quiz program of game style. Accordingly, the proposed prototype system for English vocabulary learning is designed and implemented, as an exemplar of personal mobile systems for edutainment mobile learning.

  • A pneumatically-driven driving simulator that provides a realistic representation of the driving environment was developed. The motion platform for the driving simulator is a mechatronic device that gives a driver the realistic feeling of an actual vehicle. The cost of the motion platform comprises the largest part of the expenses in developing a driving simulator. In this project, to develop a low-cost motion platform, the self-built motion platform based on the Stewart platform configuration that is constructed by six pneumatic cylinders was used as its actuator. The Stewart platform that moves in response to the operating signals of the joystick showed satisfactory tracking performance. We confirmed the possibility of the driving simulator using rFactor that is a commercially available racing game software.
