하브루타 교수법을 적용한 수업이 간호대학생의 의사소통능력, 비판적 사고능력 및 셀프리더십에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of the Education Applying Havruta's Method on Communication Competency, Critical Thinking Competency, and Self-leadership of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct the education applying Havruta's method for nursing students and to examine its effect on the communication competency, critical thinking competency, and self-leadership. Methods: A non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. The participants were 138 nursing students at two universities. The experimental group (n=70) received the education applying Havruta's method for six weeks. The study was carried out from September 23 to November 8, 2019. Data were analyzed using IBM SPSS/WIN 22.0 for the 𝑥2 test, Fisher's exact test, and independent t-test. Results: The experimental group had a significant increase in communication competency (t=2.44, p=.016). However, there was no significant difference in critical thinking competency (t=1.85, p=.067), and self-leadership (t=1.78, p=.077) between the two groups. Conclusion: The education applying Havruta's method is an effective nursing education for communication competency. The result of this study could be a guide for nursing professors at the nursing education field when developing education programs that apply Habruta's method. Based on these results, future studies should be conducted to apply Habruta's teaching method to various nursing majors.

컨조인트 분석을 적용한 초등학교 정보통신윤리 수업 설계 및 만족도 분석 (Instruction Design and Satisfaction Analysis of Information Communication Ethics Education for Primary Schools by applying Conjoint Analysis)

  • 최근 교육기관에서 정보통신 윤리교육의 중요성이 많이 부각되면서 다양한 수업내용이나 수업방법에 대한 연구가 늘고 있다. 한편, e-러닝 기술 등의 발전으로 교수자중심 수업 대신 학습자들의 요구를 충족시키기 위한 학습 내용이나 방법 개발이 활발히 이루어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 초등학생을 위한 정보통신 윤리교육에서 학습 효과를 높이기 위하여 학습자 특성과 요구사항을 파악하여 학습자중심의 수업 설계를 한후 수업을 실시하고 학업성취도 평가와 만족도 조사를 통하여 정보통신 윤리교육의 수업 설계에 대한 새로운 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 정보통신 윤리교육을 위해서 수업 설계 시 고려해야 할 요소들을 수업목표, 수업유형, 수업내용, 수업매체로 나누고 초등학교 5학년 학생들에게 설문한 후, 컨조인트 분석을 실시한다. 또한, 분석결과를 바탕으로 요구사항을 만족시키는 집단과 그렇지 못한 두 집단으로 나누어 수업을 실시하고 학업성취도와 만족도 분석을 통해 제안하는 방식에 대한 효과성 여부를 진단한다.

현대건축의 '물질조직화' 개념을 활용한 통합설계교육방법론 연구 (A Methodology of Architectural Integrated Design Education based on 'Material Organization')

  • 본 논문은 통합설계교육 방법론에 대한 연구로서 1990년대 물질조직화의 개념으로 작업하였던 건축가들 중 특히 FOA에 집중하여 건축관과 설계방법론을 고찰하고 이를 적용한 수업사례를 중심으로 통합설계교육 방법론으로서의 가능성을 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. FOA의 설계방법론은 프로토타입에서 출발하여 건물을 구성하는 요소를 물질로서 다루고 다이어그램의 위상학적 변환의 과정으로 이들을 조정하고 통합하여 하나의 건물로 일관성 있게 조직화하는 방법이다. 이를 실제 본인이 지도하였던 통합설계스튜디오의 설계방법론으로 적용하여 학생들의 설계과제를 진행하고 이를 분석하였다. 통합설계스튜디오는 대지의 문화적, 역사적 맥락의 이해를 바탕으로 한 설계개념의 추출에서 시작하여, 기본법규사항과 무장애 설계에 대한 이해와 적용을 거쳐, 필요한 기술적 요소들을 적용하고 조정하면서 상세설계까지 발전시키는 것을 교육목표로 삼아 진행되었으며, 학생들은 물질조직화의 방법으로 여러 관련 이론과목에서 배운 지식들을 통합한 설계안을 도출하고자 하였다. 이 과정에서 학생들은 구조, 대지의 역사, 극장 시야각 등을 주요 물질 요소로 삼아 형태를 형성하며 학습한 지식과 설계안을 일관성 있게 통합할 수 있음을 보여주었으며, 이에 FOA의 물질조직화를 기반으로 한 설계방법론은 통합설계방법론으로서의 의의를 갖는다고 판단된다.

  • Textile education in advanced textile countries focused to provide the best possible opportunities for the graduates. The purpose of this study is to analyze tendency of education in advanced textile countries as German, UK and Italy and apply it to the education of our country. The method is 'content analysis' of articles and literatures. The results of tendency on textile education is as follows. 1. Education to encourage the self-confidence on the textile related jobs 2. To introduce and develop new textile curriculum and contents of subjects. 3. Important curriculum ① IT(information technology) skill ② Business Merchandising ③ Extensive use of CAD/CAM ④ English education 4. To emphasize the multi-disciplinary working and special skill 5. Equipment of new and up-to-date machines to enhance for technical and production skills 6. Close touch with textile industry through the block-release based technical education. 7. Making an effort to secure excellent students No tuition-fees and state maintenance grants are available for excellent students from low income backgrounds.

Analysis of structural dynamic reliability based on the probability density evolution method

  • A new dynamic reliability analysis of structure under repeated random loads is proposed in this paper. The proposed method is developed based on the idea that the probability density of several times random loads can be derived from the probability density of single-time random load. The reliability prediction models of structure based on time responses under several times random loads with and without strength degradation are obtained by using the stress-strength interference theory and probability density evolution method. The resulting differential equations in the prediction models can be solved by using the forward finite difference method. Then, the probability density functions of strength redundancy of the structures can be obtained. Finally, the structural dynamic reliability can be calculated using integral method. The efficiency of the proposed method is demonstrated numerically through a speed reducer. The results have shown that the proposed method is practicable, feasible and gives reasonably accurate prediction.

네일미용 교육을 위한 플립러닝(flipped learning) 수업모형 개발 (Development of flipped learning class model for nail beauty education)

  • Flipped learning research has been applied in various educational fields since 2015 and the educational effects have been discussed in previous literature. In the beauty field, flipped learning research is insufficient; in particular, it is difficult to find research on flipped learning specifically concerning nail beauty education. The purpose of this study is to develop a model for applying flipped learning to nail beauty education which should involve practical training based on theory. Such an approach is considered effective. Data were collected and analyzed focusing on previous studies with flipped learning applied as a research method. The subject of the research is "Nail Color Design 1", a common nail major elective subject at J college. The "Nail Color Design 1" course is a practice-oriented course in the form of theory and practical classes. Consequently, the flipped learning education model for nail beauty was designed by reflecting learners' needs through the ADDIE instructional design model. It was applied based on the education structure of the Pre-class, In-class, and Post-class of the PARTNER instructional learning model. This study deviates from the traditional practical education model, and has educational significance as a practical model in which flipped learning is applied to nail beauty subjects and self-reflection is derived through project practice.

  • A new and efficient method is presented for design optimization, which is based on a computational fluid dynamics (CFD). The method is applied to design an airfoil configuration. The Navier-Stokes equations are solved for the viscous analysis of the flow, which provides the object function. The CFD analysis is then coupled with the optimization procedure that used a conjugate gradient method. During the one-dimensional search of the optimization procedure, an approximate flow analysis based on a first-order Taylor series expansion is used to reduce the computational cost, (This study is supported by Korean Ministry of Education through Research Fund)

Remarks on Education Method to Turn Failure Experience to Instructions for Engineering Design

  • This article proposes to examine how the study of failure differs from other technical subjects, and how to turn failure experiences to one's advantage. The authors surveyed the properties of failures in PBL (Project Based Learning) and also examined students' interest and understanding of failure, after introducing failure examples. To investigate how students communicate failure experiences to third parties, reports of the failure experience in PBL were evaluated. From above mentioned surveys, we get the following results. The typical causes of failure in educational institutions are lack of skill in manufacturing and inadequate planning, which conversely are minor causes of failure in the industry. A knowledge database on failure, employed commonly in industry, is not effective in PBL, because projects in educational institutes are usually changed every year. Case studies in failure can be approached from many points of view including causes, processes, effects and safety measures. While teachers should emphasize the notable points in the failure examples in introducing examples of specific topics in machine design, teachers should explain the multiple aspects in the failure examples to educate students about the complexity of actual accidents.
