문제중심학습이 자기주도성과 비판적 사고성향에 미치는 효과 (Effects of PBL(Problem-Based Learning) on Self-Directed Learning and Critical Thinking Disposition of Nursing Students)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of PBL on self-directed learning and critical thinking disposition. Method: The research design was a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design using two groups of first-year students from two nursing schools in Gwangju, South Korea. PBL was conducted for one semester. Result: Significant difference was found in self-directed learning between the two groups after PBL (p<0.05). but, not in critical thinking disposition. Conclusion: The findings indicate that there is a need for paradigm shift in nursing education from the traditional teacher-centered methods to a more learner-centered approach. PBL program will facilitate the development of abilities to become self-directed in learning.

Roots Finding - PBL in the First Year Course -

  • Design subjects have become popular in the engineering education. In these subjects, an active learning skill was introduced to students. Students have to decide a theme and the way how to study it and to find answers by themselves. This learning method was developed in the early year courses in the University of Tokushima. The common learning curriculum among whole university adopted this design subjects from 2005 of the school year and eleven more new subjects started. "Roots finding" is one of them and the objectives are to gain abilities of self-study through the research on a particular subject, and make report then presenting them. Self-learning ability, research ability and presentation skills were enhanced through this subject.

사용자 중심설계를 이용한 임산모 건강관리 교육프로그램 개발 연구 (Development of a Health Educational Program for Maternal Health)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this paper is to describe the development of health educational program for maternity using principle of user centered design. Method: Research process includes five distinct phases: needs assessment, analysis, design, development/testing/revision, and application release. Results: This program includes an introduction, pregnancy test and fetal assessment, maternal and fetal change during pregnancy, self-care methods during pregnancy, complication of postpartum period, process of labor, complication of pregnancy, self care during the postpartum period, information for parenting skill, father page, FAQ, helping resources and institutions. Conclusion: The program will be distributed to health centers for maternal health education. The second phase of this project was evaluation this program for further development of the program. The end result of this program will be pregnant women with a high degree of usability. Author believe this program have true potential in helping maternal health promotion and successful parenting.

어린이 참여디자인을 위한 디자인 교육 프로그램 연구 - 수원시 어공6호 어린이공원을 사례로 - (A Design Education Program for Children's Participation Design - Focused on Eogong 6ho Children's Park in Suwon -)

  • 최근 도시공간의 설계과정에서 주민 참여와 사용자 중심의 디자인이 중요해지고 있다. 어린이공원도 사용자인 어린이의 의견 반영할 필요에 대한 논의가 시작되고 있는 바, 어린이의 의견을 반영하기 위해서는 기존 주민참여방식과 다른 방법론이 필요할 것이다. 본 연구에서는 어린이를 대상으로 디자인 교육프로그램을 구성하여 디자인 교육을 통한 사용자 의견을 설계안으로 반영하여 어린이공원에 적용했다. 교육프로그램은 기존의 연구 및 어린이를 대상으로 하는 디자인 교육, 참여디자인 프로그램을 참조하여 5주간의 교육프로그램, 교재, 교수방법을 구성하였다. 이 프로그램을 시범적으로 수원시 권선구에 위치한 어공6호 어린이공원을 대상지로 삼고, 선일초등학교 5학년 1반 아이들과 함께 워크숍을 진행한 결과를 재해석하여 어린이공원 공사과정에 반영하였다. 본 디자인 교육프로그램은 참여 교수들의 구성 및 운영방법, 교재 및 교사교재 제작 등에서 다른 워크숍 프로그램과 차별성을 가지고 있으며, 이로 인하여 동일 과정을 반복할 수 있는 프로그램 기반을 구축했다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 추후, 준공 이후의 어린이공원의 사용현황을 모니터링 하는 등의 연구를 통해서 사용자 참여가 미치는 영향에 대한 검증이 추가적으로 필요하며, 앞으로 어린이 공원에 대한 보다 다양한 디자인 방법론의 적용과 사용자인 어린이 의견을 반영할 수 있는 다양한 시도들이 축적될 필요가 있다.

Analytical study on cable shape and its lateral and vertical sags for earth-anchored suspension bridges with spatial cables

  • Spatial cable systems can provide more transverse stiffness and torsional stiffness without sacrificing the vertical bearing capacity compared with conventional vertical cable systems, which is quite lucrative for long-span earth-anchored suspension bridges' development. Higher economy highlights the importance of refined form-finding analysis. Meanwhile, the internal connection between the lateral and vertical sags has not yet been specified. Given this, an analytic algorithm of form-finding for the earth-anchored suspension bridge with spatial cables is proposed in this paper. Through the geometric compatibility condition and mechanical equilibrium condition, the expressions for cable segment, the recurrence relationship between catenary parameters and control equations of spatial cable are established. Additionally, the nonlinear general reduced gradient method is introduced into fast and high-precision numerical analysis. Furthermore, the analytic expression of the lateral and vertical sags is deduced and discussed. This is very significant for the space design above the bridge deck and the optimization of the sag-to-span ratio in the preliminary design stage of the bridge. Finally, the proposed method is verified with the aid of two examples, one being an operational self-anchored suspension bridge (with spatial cables and a 260 m main span), and the other being an earth-anchored suspension bridge under design (with spatial cables and a 500 m main span). The necessity of an iterative calculation for hanger tensions on earth-anchored suspension bridges is confirmed. It is further concluded that the main cable and their connected hangers are in very close inclined planes.

표색계를 이용한 실용 색채배색 연구 (A study on the practical color schemes based ont the use of color systems)

  • 본 연구는 색채조화의 원리연구라기보다 우리 나라에서 채택한 표색 계를 이용한 실용적 색채배색 안을 제시하고 저 한다. 연구대상의 표색 계로는 먼셀 표색 계와 오스트발드 표색 계 그리고 미국의 ISCC-NBS 색명 법에 대하여 알아보았고, 색채조화 론에서는 오스트발드 색채조화 론과 쟈드 색채조화론 등을 통하여 색채조화의 일반적 원리를 정리하였다. 표색 계를 이용한 색채배색 방법으로는 우리 나라에서 색채교육용과 공업규격으로 채택하고 있는 먼셀 표색 계의 10색상환과 ISCC-NBS 색명 법을 사용하여 만든 색조 분류법을 이용하여 색채배색의 사례들을 제시하였다. 이 배색방법은 색채교육을 통하여 보다 쉽게 효율적으로 균형 잡힌 색채배색을 행하기 위한 것이다.

  • Mental status examination is an important stage in the assessment process because it serves as the foundation for establishing nursing diagnosis and intervention. Until now many students still feel difficult to understand the terms in the assessment of mental status. Interactive Mobile Learning in one of the media that is currently being developed. The use of this media will provide more in-depth learning opportunities, and students can practice their skills in carrying out practicals because of the mobility principle possessed by smartphones. The purpose of this study was to develop a smartphone-based app and evaluate the app's effectiveness by measuring nursing students' knowledge of mental status examination. Design: A randomized trial with a pre-and post-test design was conducted at a university in Indonesia. A total of seventy junior nursing students participated in this study. The intervention group received a smartphone-based app, and the control group received one-time lecture-based learning. We offered the experimental group the app and information about how to use it, and we encouraged them to use it. The control group received classroom instruction. Results: The intervention group scored significantly higher than the control group on knowledge score (t = 19.40, p = 0.000) and satisfaction with the learning method (t = 0.640, p = 0.021) Conclusion: These findings suggest that smartphonebased education could be an effective method in nursing education for teaching mental status examinations.

보안 교육 설계를 위한 국내 게이미피케이션 연구동향 메타분석 (A Meta-analysis of Korean Gamification Research Trends for Security Education Design)

  • 본 연구는 게이미피케이션에 대한 2018년~2021년간 105편의 연구동향을 연구시기, 연구목적, 연구대상, 연구주제, 연구방법, 게임방식, 강조 요소 등에 따라 분석한 결과를 토대로 향후 진행할 보안 게임 설계에 대한 해답을 찾고자 하였다. 게이미피케이션은 2020년 비대면 교육 중요성의 증가로 2021년 관련 연구가 증가한 추세를 나타내었으며 중등-고등, 대학, 성인을 대상으로 연구는 다수 진행되지 않았다. 보안 관련 연구는 접근성의 제한으로 의식 제고에 관한 연구만 소수 진행되었던 것과 같이 상대적으로 연구가 미흡하고, 제한된 분야였다. 향후 본 연구에서 분석된 다양한 연구사례와 통계를 참고하여 실제적으로 게이미피케이션을 통한 보안 교육 사례를 실제로 구현해보고자 한다.

  • This paper describes a method of building a intelligent learning system consisting of a authoring tool, in the area of language education, and a Intelligent Tutoring System(ITS) to study English. This tool is different from commerical authoring tools, as a tool that has capabilities as a component of an ITS and this ITS is efficient to retrieve the lesson plan from the plan memory than to generate it whenever an instructinoal goal is selected. the results of this research could be used either by a developer of the other area of ITS, or by a human teacher as a curriculum in the actual class.
