PURPOSES: Road Design Consistency Evaluation can guarantee road alignments with safety factors, however it can be hard work to deal with general car accident factors in only this evaluation index. Ideal Road Design Consistency Evaluation is show the mutual balance of road alignment and human factors with a variety of factors for road safety. METHODS: This study carried out overall road safety evaluations which are methods of running speeding consistency and car platoon safety analysis (driver's behaviors factors) as well. RESULTS: Out of 13 sections in a experimental road layout, safety factors of 8 sections showed 'Good' or 'Fair' status. However, 'Poor' results were found out in 5 sections. Particularly, it showed the different outcomes among the 4 evaluation methods used in this study. CONCLUSIONS: Road safety countermeasures were proposed for the potentially dangerous sections in road which failed to identify in the other methods. This study will contribute toward future study of more reliable Road Design Consistency Evaluation in the future for road safety.

고속도로에서 교통사고에 중요한 두 영향요소는 운전자요소와 도로환경요소로 구분되어 진다. 그동안 여러 연구에서 도로환경요소중 설계요소로 알려진 곡선반경, 종단경사, 편경사, 관찰속도와 교통사고와 관련성을 연구하였고 그 밀접한 관련성을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 논문에서는 이들 관련요소 크기가 교통사고와 관련성이 깊다는 사실에 대하여 상관관계분석을 통하여 확인하고자 하였다. 이에 더하여 이들 설계관련요소의 표준편차를 설계일관성으로 정의하고 교통사고의 증감과 비교하여 봄으로써 표준편차로 특징 지워지는 설계요소와 설계속도의 일관성이 교통사고 발생과 상관성이 깊다는 사실을 도출하였다. 본 논문의 결과는 선형설계과정에서 설계일관성의 수치화된 활용을 더 활성화시킬 것으로 기대된다.

This study investigated the correlation between the level of consistency in fashion show models' appearance and design concept through a statistical and qualitative analysis of the S/S Paris Collection 2014. The following conclusions have been drawn in this study. First, the percentage of models of color was very low in regards to the physical appearance of models; in addition, there was a higher percentage of Caucasian models for collections with a high level of consistency in models' physical appearance. Collections with a high percentage of models of color indicate more casual design concepts and the promotion of diversity in racial background is considered more effective for street fashion. Second, collections with a high level of consistency in models' physical appearance tend to control various elements that constitute a physical appearance through more detailed planning and stage direction. Third, there is a tendency to reinforce design concepts by creating a consistency in the overall physical appearance of models. This affirms that their physical appearance is determined by brand (i.e. designer) and is used to maximize a design concept delivery. The results of this study suggests that the physical appearance of models must be determined in line with the design concept versus detailed planning that must consider audience perspectives as well as adjust the show's length and the interval between each model appearing on the stage.

Recently, as the importance of mobile marketing is emphasized, the in-app advertising market, which inserts ads into applications, is growing. The purpose of this study is to verify the interaction effects of need for cognition, contextual consistency, and product involvement on advertising attitude. The experimental design of this study is a three-way mixed design of 2 (consumer need for cognition: high vs low) × 2 (contextual consistency: context match vs context mismatch) × 2 (product involvement: high vs low). The subjects of the survey were 337 men and women in their 20s and 30s Living in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. SPSS 25.0 statistical program was used to analyze frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, three-way ANOVA, and simple main effect analysis. The analysis results are as follows. First, contextual consistency of mobile fashion ads showed significant effect on advertising attitude. Second, consumer need for cognition and contextual consistency of mobile fashion ads showed significant interaction effect on advertising attitude. Third, contextual consistency of mobile fashion ads and product involvement showed significant interaction effect on advertising attitude. Finally, product involvement and consumer need for cognition showed a significant interaction effect on advertising attitude. Based on the research results, it will help fashion companies to establish effective mobile in-app advertising strategies.

본 논문은 VOD 스트리밍 데이터에 대한 변형된 Scope Consistency 알고리즘 설계 방안을 제시한다. Consistency Model 은 주로 전자 계산에서 데이터 동기화에 적용될 수 있는 메커니즘이다. 그 중 Scope Consistency는 Memory Consistency Model의 한 종류로, Scope와 같은 lock을 사용하여 임계영역을 정의한다. Scope Consistency를 지원하는 시스템으로 JIAJIA가 있다. JIAJIA는 lock 기반 캐쉬 일관성을 구현한다. 본 논문에서는 JIAJIA에서 사용하는 동기화 메커니즘 중 barrier 메커니즘을 이용하여 일반적으로 전자 계산에서 사용되는 메커니즘을 VOD 스트리밍 데이터가 처리될 수 있는 변형된 Scope Consistency 알고리즘을 설계한다.

3D parallel rasterizer on a single chip for high performance generates consistency problem. To solve this problem, 3D parallel rasterizer with consistency buffer Os proposed. This can simultaneously process a plurality of Primitives. Experimental results show 1.1-2.0x speedups using a simple model. This method can achieve high performance and cost effectiveness.

거짓 공유(flase sharing) 및 추가적인 통신으로 인한 성능 저하를 방비하기 위해서 소프트웨어 분산공유메모리 시스템을 위한 다양한 메모리 모델들이 제안되었다. Scope Consitency 모델은 Brazos, JIAJIA와 같은 최근 시스템에 채택된 모델로서, consistency scope 개념을 사용해서 데이터와 동기화 변수 간의 관계를 자동으로 인식한다. 본 논문에서는 Scope Consistency 프로토콜의 설계, 구현, 그리고 성능 측정 결과에 관해서 설명한다.

The continual reassessment method (CRM) provides a Bayesian estimation of the maximum tolerated dose (MTD) in phase I clinical trials. The CRM has been proposed as an alternative design of the standard design. The CRM has been modified to improve practical feasibility and, recently, the likelihood approach CRM has been proposed. In this paper we investigate the consistency and asymptotic normality of the modified likelihood approach CRM in which the maximum likelihood estimate is used instead of the posterior mean. Small-sample properties of the consistency is examined using complete enumeration. Both the asymptotic results and their small-sample properties show that the modified CRML outperforms the standard design.

Midjourney continually updates its database and algorithms to enhance user experience, with a focus on character consistency. This paper's examination of the latest V6 version of Midjourney reveals notable advancements in its characteristics and design principles, especially in the realm of character generation. By comparing V6 with its predecessors, this study underscores the significant strides made in ensuring consistent character portrayal across different plots and timelines.Such improvements in AI-driven character consistency are pivotal for storytelling. They ensure coherent and reliable character representation, which is essential for narrative clarity, emotional resonance, and overall effectiveness. This coherence supports a more immersive and engaging storytelling experience, fostering deeper audience connection and enhancing creative expression.The findings of this study encourage further exploration of Midjourney's capabilities for artistic innovation. By leveraging its advanced character consistency, creators can push the boundaries of storytelling, leading to new and exciting developments in the fusion of technology and art.

PURPOSES : Safety consciousness can be the first factor to hinder the acceptance of design alternative, which moderates the applied design criteria in order to adapt the road to the natural terrain condition. METHODS : The method which enables to check the safety of design alternative by using design consistency concept is suggested. The method is based on the linked or interactive analysis between terrain and road alignment. Real design example is considered as a guide how to apply the method and the analysis result is discussed with the future research. RESULTS : Suggested method can be used for designers as a tool to review their design outputs can be safe as much as the original design. So, designers have the more objective judgement on their designs and have the confidence on their designs. CONCLUSIONS : The method is expected to be used as a tool to see the safety consciousness in an objective view, so any possible conflicts between designers and design-related personnels caused by the terrain-oriented design can be solved.
