In this study, visual evaluation was performed with changes in peplums design to provide data which can enhance wearing image effects at the production of peplums one-piece. According to changes in volume and position of peplums, a total of 9 stimulants were chosen. Then, they were evaluated using a seven-point rating scale against 50 fashion students. The data has been analyzed by Factor Analysis, ANOVA, $Scheff{\acute{e}}$'s Test and the MCA method. The results of the study are as follows : 1. According to factor analysis, the components of visual evaluation depending on the changes in volume and position variations of peplums were divided into four factors: elegance, individuality, upper body correction and upper body emphasis. 2. According to visual evaluation depending on changes in the position variations of peplum, 'high waist' and 'natural waist' revealed a significant difference in elegance, individuality and upper body correction. 'Low waist' was observed in all four positions. 3. According to visual evaluation depending on the changes in volume of peplums, a significant difference at $45^{\circ}$ was observed in except for elegance. Significant differences at $90^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$ were observed in all four positions. 4. In terms of interactions over in volume and position variations of peplums, interaction effects were found in two factors.

A type certificate is required to ensure the safety of aircraft design. If a person is to pursue major design change to the certified aircraft, an applicant has to apply for a new type certificate, an amended type certificate, or a supplemental type certificate appropriately. Design changes to be applied for a supplemental type certificate are abstractly defined in ICAO, FAA, and EASA regulations. In this paper, authors reviewed certification procedures regarding design changes, analysed certification examples of leading countries, and presented the criteria to determine "major design changes not extensive" for a supplemental type certificate.

The development of breast implant technology continues to evolve over time, but changes in breast shape after implantation have not been fully elucidated. Thus, we performed computerized finite element analysis in order to better understand the trajectory of changes and stress variation after breast implantation. The finite element analysis of changes in breast shape involved two components: a static analysis of the position where the implant is inserted, and a dynamic analysis of the downward pressure applied in the direction of gravity during physical activity. Through this finite element analysis, in terms of extrinsic changes, it was found that the dimensions of the breast implant and the position of the top-point did not directly correspond to the trajectory of changes in the breast after implantation. In addition, in terms of internal changes, static and dynamic analysis showed that implants with a lower top-point led to an increased amount of stress applied to the lower thorax. The maximum stress values were 1.6 to 2 times larger in the dynamic analysis than in the static analysis. This finding has important implications for plastic surgeons who are concerned with long-term changes or side effects, such as bottoming-out, after anatomic implant placement.

The railway has been developed largely by the characteristic factors of the railway through change of the society and culture. The railway trends has been changing from instinctive methods to settle the mass transport of the early days, to sensitive methods to pursue the railway culture centering around human being. As dividing by period according to the changes of railway trends into the external nation, there are to analyze the development history of the railway design. Accordingly each nation (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan) and the style's change, to confirm the changes into the design applied in society and culture needs, and to analyze by a year in changes of the environment and the railway history from the 1800's to 2005, so there contribute in the development of railway design to present the paradigm of the future railway by analyzing the trend according to the changes of railway design and the life environment in this paper.

This study investigates transformable designs in contemporary fashion. In contemporary society, designs are accompanied by various changes such as transformation of shapes or variation of material beyond the certain form of dress. As a result of having interest in transformable designs with the various attempts on the overall design, transformable design is being suggested as an attempt as the new manner, radical concept, or alternative of multi-purpose lifestyle. With the constant research and collection presentation by the designers of empirical disposition, transformable dress has been evolving gradually. The feature of transformable design appeared in dress is considered as 'variability' which changes in the flow of time. Furthermore, the morphological variability and variability of material have been examined as visual stimuli and conversion of material. By analyzing and assorting diverse transformable dresses comprehensively, it could be divided into technique-oriented transformable design and transformable design with a wearer's intervention. The technique-oriented transformable design is subdivided into the conversion of material and the conversion of form; the transformable design with a wearer's intervention into the conversion of functional frame and the conversion of aesthetic feature.

This paper researched social, cultural background, psychological bases, design method and design types with regard to user's participation in space design. This issue of user's participation became one of major paradigms of 21st century not only for space design but also for every other cultural phenomenon. First chapter is an introduction. Second chapter tried to assert the fact that user's participation will be the important aspect for future space design by proving the correlation between user's participation in space design and the important social changes. It also tried to prove the psychological reasons why the users' participations affect the level of user satisfaction. It can be explained by Behaviorism which insisted that our outer behaviors affect our inner attitudes and preferences. Third chapter explained the affordances in design which works as a means of inducing user's participatory behaviors. Fourth chapter proposed the types of participatory space designs classified by the users' behavioral features and their characteristics, intending that they will verify the realization of the theories which we discussed in the former chapters regarding the users' participation in space design. The fifth chapter is a conclusion which says that outwardly, those participations are simply making external changes in design. but actually, they are reflecting more profound social changes and making important psychological effects on users.

A change request in design education is a phenomenon manifested by changes in the value of the industry and market demands. Changes in external requirements and internal values that affect the design industry today are shifting from consumer-centered design to stakeholder-centered design. At the center of these changes, design education should be transformed into an educational mechanism that conforms to the characteristics of each field and design specialization should coincide with the direction of the capitalist market. Design specialization must realize the policy of education in economic value first, and should be changed to a design process that enhances rationality and efficiency from the previous apprenticeship education.

Purpose of this paper is to research about new building type of Korean library and suggest the design of Library which based on the building type changes. This research is based on the idea that change of building type could be derived from Architects' designs. So, we analyzed space programs of Gunpo Library competition, redefined the space programs and suggested the direction of building type changes with program changes through design processes. The conclusions of this research are follows; first, we suggested new zoning system in library building design that is consisted of three separate building based on each building's own functions. Second, new zoning and library design would be helpful to making plan about library building competition. The method that we tried at this projec is useful to other complex building designs which have necessities to redefine building type.

Most of the architecture is constructed in cities. Urbanism or network, occurring in contemporary society, has changed the concept of space. For this reason, many architects now focus on the changes of the relationship between architecture and cities and the changes of modern life styles. Therefore, it is necessary for architecture, not to mention architects, to find out new design methods that are able to respond to the changes. This study starts form the thought that MVRDV, the group of architects in the Netherlands, makes a design in the process, connected with contemporary society, cities, informations, and techniques. The purpose of this study is that bring to light the MVRDV's way to design, datascape, as a new design method.

Design-build is expanding gradually in large construction projects over 10billion won, and continue to work in health care facilities is increasing in this way. This constructional method in health care facilities, despite the many advantages, many problems caused by design changes are being raised. Raises the question of design changes on the side of construction contract, such as approval systems have been studied in the field of construction. The purpose of this study design in aspects of architectural planning on changing the grasp of the issues outlined in the ITB and bid evaluation criteria through consideration of the basic plan for improvement guidelines and evaluation criteria is presented. In conclusion, Design build, according to the presence of existing users are more likely to lead to design changes. Thus, hospital architecture, depending on how it is considered that constructional methods. And evaluation items of ITB(Invitation To Bidder) for a large part of the change in the variables evaluated in the hospital building is not suitable for the design build. Instead, the overall shape of the building and department, unit type and size, vertical and horizontal parts of the circulation system in the shape of the building that does not change in structure and etc should be considered for evaluation.
