  • Reliability engineering is regarded as the major and important roll for all industry. And advanced manufacturing systems with high sped and intelligent have been developing for betterment of machining ability. In this study, we have systemized evaluation of reliability for machinery system. We proposed the reliability assessment and designed and manufactured reliability test-bed to evaluate reliability. In addition we acquired reliability data using test-bed system and made database to handle reliability data. And also we not only use reliability data by analyzing reliability, but also apply design review method using analyzing critical units of machinery system. Form this study, we will expect to guide and increase the reliability engineering in developing and processing phase of high quality product.

  • Nowadays, the vehicle structure weight of urban transit system has been reduced in order to save energy and materials. However, this light weighted vehicle structure is very important to verify the fatigue strength at the development stage. Bogie system consists of bogie frame, suspensions, wheel-sets, braking system and transmission system. Among these components, the bogie frame is most significant component subjected to the whole vehicle and passenger loads. In this study, the bogie frame for the standard EMU power car is evaluated to the static and fatigue strength. And, the evaluation method is used the JIS E4207 specification throughout the FEM analysis and static load test. The static and fatigue test results for the standard EMU bogie frame of power car has been appeared very safety and stable for the design load conditions.

  • Recently, the development of the paved track is required as a low-maintenance of conventional line. The main reason is that the line capacity and bearing of track are increased progressively. The important factors of paved track are stability and applicability. To be based on this subject, Cement Mortar Pouring(CMP) paved track is developed. CMP paved track is a kind of ballast reinforced track using the prepacked concrete technique. The most important thing to design the paved track is to optimize the track structure considering various conditions. In this study, the CMP track is constructed(30m) on a test line and the track performance tested by running train to evaluation the capability and workability. The track performance are tested to confirm the vibration acceleration of the car body, wheel and track, accumulated settlement, track irregularity and crack of surface.

The Effects of Practice on Student Teachers' Perceived Efficacy for Child Care and Teaching (보육실습이 예비보육교사의 보육효능감에 미치는 영향)

  • This study investigated the effects of Child Care and Teaching(CCT) practice on student teachers'(N=361) perceived Efficacy for Child Care an Teaching(ECCT), including relationships between ECCT and generalized self-efficacy. Instruments were the ECCT scale, the generalized self-efficacy scale, and self-evaluation concerning CCT. Research design consisted of pre-test, CCT practices. and post-test. Results showed that ECCT scores increased after CCT practice: ECCT was related with generalized self-efficacy and to self-evaluation concerning CCT. These findings suggested that CCT experience is important to student teachers' perceived ECCT, and ECCT, in turn, is a predictor of actual CCT behavior.

  • Tire hydroplaning is one of the most important tire performances, especially for safety on wet road surface. And nowadays various methods such as FEM and FVM analysis are being applied to design and improve tire hydroplaning performance, along with on-vehicle test of tire hydroplaning. Conventional evaluation of tire hydroplaning has been done by comparing peak lateral acceleration and vehicle speed in time domain. But in this paper, frequency domain analysis of lateral acceleration when hydroplaning at high speed has been carried out to get the quantitative comparison between test tires. And it is concluded that the frequency spectrum analysis of lateral acceleration gives much better discrimination, as compared to the conventional time domain analysis of lateral acceleration and vehicle speed.

  • In this study, automatic assembly and evaluation system fer phone camera module is conceptually designed. The designed core(Auto focus & UV curing, Image Test) equipments adopts a clustering mechanism and compactible structure using index table for minimum tact time. Using a ball screw actuator and absolute encoder in each axis, we can verifies the repeatability and position accuracy of system within ${\pm}3{\mu}m$. In result of simulation test, the proposed system is expected up to 30% in productivity than manual operation.

  • The object of this paper is to evaluate the chip breakability using the experimental equation of surface roughness, which is developed in turning by an orthogonal array method. L$\sub$9/(3$^4$) orthogonal array method, one of fractional factorial design has been used to study effects of main cutting parameters such as cutting speed, feed rate and depth of cut, on the surface roughness. The evaluation of chip breakability is used the chip breaking index(C$\sub$B/), non-dimensional parameter. And the analysis of variance (ANOYA)-test has been used to check the significance of cutting parameters. Using the result of ANOYA-test, the experimental equation of chip breakability, which consists of significant cutting parameters, has been developed. The coefficient of determination of this equation is 0.866.

  • The bonding strength evaluation of the light weight materials for an electrical vehicle has been performed through the T-peel joint test in which the design paramete- rs such as joint style, adherend type, adherend thickness, adhesive thickness, and adhesive type are considered. It is experimentally observed that the peel strength of joint increases with the increase of the adherend thickness. With the increase of the adhesive thickness, however, the peel strength of joint increases a little. Aluminum-FRP adherend combination shows such higher peel strength than that of Aluminum-Aluminum adherend combination. For the adhesive bonded joint, the results of FEM analysis agree with those of experiment. The adhesive bonded joint reinfored with a rivet gives higher peel strength than that of the joint without rivet.

  • Structural integrity evaluation is important item in the aircraft certification. Recently, it is designed for limit load, material weakness about fatigue and corrosion, damage by bird strike in flight to evaluate structural integrity of aircraft. And static/fatigue analysis are performed to secure structural integrity, it was verified by static and fatigue tests. To evaluate the structural integrity of small aircraft tail, structural integrity was calculated by the finite element analysis. In the present study, finite element analysis are performed to pick out load cases in flight occurrence, and secure margin of safety to evaluate structural integrity of KC-100 tail unit. The proprieties of finite element analysis results are compared with the static structure test results. The estimation process of structural integrity for small aircraft tail may help the design.

  • A high-speed rail system represents a typical example of large-scale multi-disciplinary systems, consisting of subsystems such as train, electrical hardware, electronics, control, information, communication, civil technology etc. The system design and acquisition data of the large-scale system must be the subject under strict configuration control and management. This paper presents the results from systems engineering application to High Speed Rollingstock 350 eXperimental for management of test and evaluation.
