  • 3D printing has the advantage of being able to process various types of parts by layering materials. In addition to these advantages, 3D printing technology allows models to be processed quickly without any special work that can be used in different fields to produce workpieces for various purposes and shapes. This paper deals to not only increase the utilization of 3D printing technology, but also to revitalize 3D printing technology in applications that require similar cryogenic environments. The goal of this study is to identify the mechanical properties of polylactic acid and photopolymer resin processed by Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) and Digital Light Processing (DLP) respectively. The entire process is meticulously examined, starting from getting the thermal contraction using an extensometer. A uniaxial tensile test is employed, which enables to obtain the mechanical properties of the samples at both room temperature (RT) and cryogenic temperature of 77 K. As the results, photopolymer resin exhibited higher tensile properties than polylactic acid at RT. However, at cryogenic temperatures (77 K), the photopolymer resin became brittle and failure occurred due to thermal contraction, while polylactic acid demonstrated superior tensile properties. Therefore, polylactic acid is more suitable for lower temperatures.

  • In this work, an insulated coupling test machine for a 5-MW-class wind turbine was designed and developed, along with the public performance testing of a 3-MW-class wind turbine. The results of the device design, development requirements, functional considerations, structural vibration analysis, and the evaluation of the insulated coupling test machine are presented in this study. For the coupling models, thick fiberglass composite pipe insulation, fabricated by filament winding, was considered. Results of three-dimensional finite element analysis conducted using both solid element and shell element modeling were analyzed and compared, considering the effect of thickness. In addition, results from the nonlinear finite element analysis of multiple leaf springs of the laminated disk pack structure were verified and compared with experimental data.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the usability evaluation contents based on the needs of different stakeholder's related to the usability of the product, and to derive the design direction and apply it as the evaluation standard by applying the product design based on the results. I created a stakeholder map for a fire detector product and identified stakeholders related to usability. Based on 3 factors(Physical, cognitive, emotional) of the usability evaluation, I conducted survey on the building users and the building managers who have different requirements. There are 12 directions (ease of installation, durability, maintainability, additional functionality, effectiveness, attractiveness, visibility, consistency of information, environmental harmony, consistency, Image suitability, reliability). Through weighted analysis of three usability evaluation factors, I found factors were ranked in the same order of importance, but they were different in importance figure. Based on the results of the survey, overall product usability aspects were improved but effectiveness and environmental coordination aspects needed to be improved.

  • Vibration/shock affects biggest taking a train subtraction of vehicle and durability decline. Therefore, absorber is used for vibration/shock isolation and various qualities of the material and design are applied to isolation. This paper proposes vibration/shock absorber that applies 'Disc' spring. Through comparison with 'Disc' spring that has nonlinearity and coil spring that is having linearity, see effect that nonlinearity of isolation gets in vibration/shock Isolation. Coil spring and 'Disc' spring are non-linear numerical analysis and simulation through theory for this, get and investigate comparison result through an experiment finally. Expressed and formulated shock through 'Runge-Kutta' method/impact response to nonlinear-vibration-equation of 1 degree of freedom for numerical analysis. Double half sine pulse of excitation used and analyzed result through spectrum response analysis here. Response of disc spring is compared to response of coil spring by changing $h_o/t$ ratio with computer simulation and the usage of disc spring is increased through analysis of effect of design factors. The purpose of this paper is that the shock response of disc spring is calculated through numerical simulation and to design the optimal absorber under the limited condition. And then, the isolation effect was analyzed through the shock test.

  • The purpose of this study was to clarify the effect of clasp design on abutment tooth adjacent to a distal extension base under the influence by the location of functional loading. The RPI clasp, the Akers clasp and the combination clasp were selected for evaluation. Tests were performed at 10Kg, 20Kg, 30Kg loads on the buccal, central, lingual, mesial and distal positions of loading platform of each mandibular distal extension partial denture. The laser reflexion method was used for three dimensional measurement of abutment movement, which is possible to measure precisely without contact. The movement in the mesiodistal(X), buccolingual(Y), and occlusoapical(Z) directions and the rotational movement(R) were measured, and in addition, the total movement (SV) as expressed by the three dimensional summation vector independent of direction was calculated. The data were analyzed using Student t-test, p<.05. The following results were obtained from this study; 1. Clasp design did not generally affect the direction of abutment tooth movement except the movement in an undesirable occlusal direction in case of the Akers clasp and the combination clasp. 2. The greater the load on the prosthesis, the greater was the abutment tooth movement, and the direction of abutment tooth movement was affected by positional loading. 3. Each prosthesis was dislodged from the test base under the small amount of load in the distal load position, and the buccal loading showed the greatest abutment tooth movement under the maximum load. 4. RPI clasp was evaluated as the most favorable design.

  • PURPOSES: The objective of this study was to determine the optimum ratio of mix design, for a reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP) content of 100%, for spray injection application. METHODS: A literature review revealed that spray injection is an efficient and cost-effective application for fixing small defective regions of an asphalt pavement. Rapid-setting polymer-modified asphalt mixtures prepared from two types of rapid-setting polymer asphalt emulsion were subjected to Marshall stability and wet track abrasion tests, in order to identify the optimum mix designs. RESULTS and CONCLUSIONS : Different mix designs of type A and type B emulsions were prepared using RAP and virgin aggregates, in order to compare the performance and determine the optimum mix design. The performance of mixtures prepared with RAP was superior to that of mixtures containing virgin aggregates. Moreover, for optimum ratio of the design, the binder content prepared from RAP was set to 1~2% lower than that consisting of virgin aggregates. Compared to their Type A counterparts, type B mixtures consisting of a reactive emulsion performed better in the Marshall stability and wet track abrasion tests. The initial results confirmed the advantages associated with using RAP for spray injection applications. Further studies will be performed to verify the difference in the optimum mix design and performance obtained in the lab-scale test and tests conducted at the job site by using the spray injection machine.

  • The paper addresses some key issues related to the design of composite slabs with cold-formed profiled steel sheets. An experimental programme is first presented, involving six composite slab specimens tested with a view to evaluating Eurocode 4 (EC4) provisions on testing of composite slabs. In four specimens, the EC4-prescribed 5000 load cycles were applied using different load ranges resulting from alternative interpretations of the reference load $W_t$. Although the rationale of the application of cyclic loading is to induce loss of chemical bond between the concrete plate and the steel sheet, no such loss was noted in the tests for either interpretation of the range of load cycles. Using the recorded response of the specimens the values of factors m and k (related to interface shear transfer in the composite slab) were determined for the specific steel sheet used in the tests, on the basis of three alternative interpretations of the related EC4 provisions. The test results confirmed the need for a more unambiguous description of the m-k test and its interpretation in a future edition of the Code, as well as for an increase in the load amplitude range to be used in the cyclic loading tests, to make sure that the intended loss of bond between the concrete slab and the steel sheet is actually reached. The study also included the development of a special-purpose software that facilitates design of composite slabs; a parametric investigation of the importance of m-k values in slab design is presented in the last part of the paper.

  • Recently, the expansion of the domestic solar market due to the promotion of eco-friendly and alternative energy-related policies is promising, and it is expected to lead the high-efficiency/high-power module market based on M10 or larger cells to reduce LCOE, 540-560W, M12 based on M10 cells Compared to the existing technology with an output of 650-700W based on cells, it is necessary to secure competitiveness through the development of modules with 600W based on M10 cells and 750W based on M12 cells. For the development of high efficiency/high-power n-type bifacial, it is necessary to secure a lightweight technology and structure due to the increase in weight of the glass to glass module according to the large area of the module. Since the mechanical strength characteristics according to the large area and high weight of the module are very important, design values such as a frame of a new structure that can withstand the mechanical load of the Mechanical Load Test and the location of the mounting hole are required. In this study, a structural analysis design model was introduced to secure mechanical reliability according to the enlargement of the module area, and the design model was verified through the mechanical load test of the actual product. It can be used as a design model to secure the mechanical reliability required for PV modules by variables such as module area, frame shape, and the location and quantity of mounting holes of the structural analysis model verified. A relationship of output drop can be obtained.

  • This study aimed to design a robot programming lecture for pre-service mathematics teachers to improve their TPACK-P (TPACK-Programming) and analyze its effectiveness. The lecture design involved stages of analysis, exploration, primary micro-teaching, and secondary micro-teaching, with each stage including design, application, and evaluation. The TPACK-P survey was conducted before and after the lecture, and the results indicated a statistically significant difference in TCK at the 1% significance level and TPK, TRACK, and TRACK(P) at the 5% significance level. Further analysis using dependent sample t-tests showed that the post-test mean was significantly higher than the pre-test mean in categories such as TCK, TPK, TPACK, and TPACK(P). These findings suggest that the designed lecture positively affected the growth of pre-service mathematics teachers' TPACK-P.
