  • The mechanism design is synthesis of suitable mechanism which can be output motions about input motions. That has generally two steps which are the type synthesis and the dimensional synthesis. And required mechanism analysis step for confirming middle or final result. The type synthesis is definition of mechanism type which required aim and the dimensional synthesis is calculation of dimension about defined type mechanism. The type synthesis of mechanism is included qualitative design field which isn't defined systematic design method. especially, the most difficult step for mechanism design automation. In this paper proposed the component modular design method which is figured mechanism types automate with component modules using component modular approach. And develop CAD(Computer Aided Program) program for application.

Selection and Analysis of Genomic Sequence-Derived RNA Motifs Binding to C5 Protein

  • Escherichia coli RNase P is a ribonucleoprotein composed of M1 RNA and C5 protein. Previously, analysis of RNA aptamers selected for C5 protein from a synthetic RNA library showed that C5 protein could bind various RNA molecules as an RNA binding protein. In this study, we searched cellular RNA motifs that could be recognized by C5 protein by a genomic SELEX approach. We found various C5 protein-binding RNA motifs derived from E. coli genomic sequences. Our results suggest that C5 protein interacts with various cellular RNA species in addition to M1 RNA.

  • This paper describes the conceptual design of new robot hand by type synthesis. The conventional robot hands with rotational movement have bad controllability because the distance between the final rotational joint and the center of things grasped is changed according to the size of things grasped. This paper uses the systematic procedure of type synthesis and the knowledge for designing robot hands. The new 6-bar Watt I type conceptual robot hand with rectilinear translational movement is proposed.

실험계획법을 이용한 MOF-5 합성공정 최적화 연구 (A Study of the Optimization of the MOF-5 Synthesis Process using Design of Experiments)

  • 실험계획법을 이용하여 MOF-5 합성공정의 최적화에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 먼저 전구체의 농도를 최적화 하기 위하여 혼합물 설계법을 이용하였다. 합성에 사용되는 세 가지 전구체인 terephthalic acid, zinc acetate dihydrate, N,N-dimethylformamide의 농도비를 extreme vertices design methods로 최적화 하였다. MOF-5 합성을 위한 최적의 농도는 1 mol : 2.7 mol : 40 mol로 예측되었다. 이후, 온도, 시간 및 교반 속도와 같은 합성 반응 조건이 합성에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위해 다단계 요인 설계법을 사용하였다. 수행된 통계 분석에 따라 교반 속도는 후속 연구에서 제외되었다. 합성시간과 온도를 고려한 합성 공정 최적화는 중앙 조성 설계법을 이용하였다. 13번의 합성 실험을 통해 도출된 2차 모델 방정식을 이용하여 결과를 추정하였다. 설계에 사용된 모델에 의하면 119 ℃ 및 10.4 h 조건에서 합성된 MOF-5가 최대의 결정화도를 가지는 것으로 예측되었다.

  • Although asynchronous designs have become a promising way to develop complex modern digital systems, there is a few complete design framework for VLSI designers who wish to use automatic CAD tools. Especially, high-level synthesis is not widely concerned until now. In this paper we Proposed a method for high-level synthesis of asynchronous systems as a part of an asynchronous design framework. Our method performs scheduling, allocation, and binding, which are three subtasks of high-level synthesis, in simultaneous using a transformational approach. To deal with complexity of high-level synthesis we use neighborhood search algorithm such as Tabu search.
