Exploring New System of China Digital Media Design Related Undergraduate Education

  • In recent years, China Digital Media Design related undergraduate education has developed into great dimensions while producing a lot of problems. Now cause of rapid development, Disciplinary Location, Training Objectives and Curriculum require study. Firstly, the paper points out the scope and general process of Digital Media Design through an analysis of properties of digital media industry. Secondly, the paper studies the current status of Digital Media Design-related undergraduate education from the policy of Chinese Ministry of Education and the practice of representative universities. Through questionnaire survey of Digital Media Designers from Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, the paper points out the problems of China Digital Media Design related undergraduate education. Finally, paper brings forward the right direction of new system of China Digital Media Design related undergraduate education.

  • 금릉(金陵)대학교는 중화민국 시기 (1912-1949) 영화교육, 영화과학, 영화제작, 방송 등 많은 분야에서 대표적인 교육기관이었다. 금릉대학교에서 비록 독립적인 애니메이션 학과가 생겼던 것은 아니지만 애니메이션 과정이 개설되어, 이론 연구, 애니메이션 제작과 보급이 진행되어 애니메이션 발전에 있어 중요한 역사적인 역할을 하며 중국 애니메이션 교육의 시작을 알렸다. 본 연구는 민국 시기 금릉대학교를 중심으로 진행된 초기 애니메이션 교육 현황에 대한 역사적 분석을 진행하였다. 또한, 동시에 거시적 교육과 미시적 교육의 관점을 통해 당시의 학과 발전과 외부 교육 관념의 영향을 분석하고자 한다. 중화민국 시기 금릉대학교에서 진행된 애니메이션 교육의 발전과정을 정리하고, 초기 애니메이션 교육 연구의 시작점에 대한 이론적 연구를 진행하여 중국 초기 애니메이션 교육의 의미와 그것이 가진 가치를 재발견하고자 한다.

한국과 중국 패션 전문 교육 현황 연구 (A Study on the Current Condition of Fashion Education in Korea and China)

  • This study aims to compare the current conditions of fashion education organizations in Korea and China. The results are as follows: 1. As for the departments related to fashion in Korea, the department of clothing was most frequently found in the fields of everyday science and natural science and design was most frequent in art related fields. 2. As for the departments related to fashion in China, the department of design was usually found in the fields of spinning and weaving, art, fashion, and others, and a college was dedicated to is having departments related to the fashion industry, much larger in scale compare to Korea. 3. Subject analysis found that both Korea and China put the most weight on the subject of design than any other fields. 4. Subject analysis of the fashion related departments in Korea found that all three department groups put considerable weight on clothing design and clothing composition subjects with other subjects having greater parts in the curriculum. 5. As for the departments related to fashion in China, design-related subjects were most frequently found, irrespective of the title of the fashion department, and the subjects concerning fashion marketing were widely distributed. 6. It seems that the curriculum for fashion colleges in China have been affected by the characteristics of the university before absorptive integration and setting based on the local characteristics rather than by the characteristics of the college. 7. For the curriculum of Korea, it is necessary to divide theoretical and practical ones and to develop practical subjects in association with experts in actual fields. China needs to take into account the local characteristics due to its global curriculum and large area.

A Study of the Satisfaction with the operation of design courses-Based on PJBL(Project Based Learning) - An analysis of a University of Applied Sciences in China -

  • As the definition and role of design changes over time with the times and society, design education needs to update teaching methods to match it. The course design in this study began with an optimisation of the learning model based on previous research and analysis, followed by in-depth interviews, the application of the interview results to the final curriculum design, and finally a questionnaire to verify the positive effects of this teaching model. This teaching model has been applied to teach a pilot class in a university of applied sciences in China. The main characteristics of the course design are Project-Based Learning (PJBL) oriented, team cooperation centric, and an educational model developed based on peer assessment. In every stage of the UI design course, realistic project simulations are adopted, enhancing students' abilities through practical experience, teamwork, and peer assessment. The innovation lies in validating the effectiveness and advantages of this model at every stage of the UI design course, innovating existing teaching methods, optimizing learning models, and combining practice with evaluation. This research found that a project-oriented team course design based on PJBL has a high degree of effectiveness and relevance in each stage of the UI design course, significantly improving students' overall competence. It is expected that the results of this study can be applied in various ways to the course design of the courses that similar to design majors.

중국 게임 산업의 발전을 위한 전문 인력 양성 방안 -중국내 대학의 게임 전문 인력 양성 커리큘럼 제안 (A plan for the Development of Chinese Game Industry -Curriculum Suggestions for Training Professionals in Chinese Universities)

  • 중국 게임시장에서 개발 또는 시판되는 게임의 대부분은 외국에서 개발되어 서비스 되거나 혹은 국내(중국)에서 제작되어 외국 게임회사의 서비스로 시판되는 게임이 대부분이다. 중국이 세계적 게임 개발 대국이 되고자 한다면 여러 방법 중에 전문교육양성이 최우선이라고 생각한다. 특히 중국 의 대학교에서 전문적 게임학과가 꼭 있어야 한다고 본다. 본 논문에서 게임개발 대국 미국과 아시아 게임 개발 대국 한국의 대학교에 있는 게임디자인학과에 대해서 조사하여 게임학과 교육방식을 분석하고자 한다. 비교분석을 통해 중국 대학교에서 게임학과를 신설할 때 필요한 요소를 찾아 중국의 디지털미디어예술(數字媒體藝術)학과에서 게임분야의 고급 게임개발자 양성을 위한 교육 커리큘럼을 제시하고자 한다. 이 연구는 중국 게임교육에 대해 도움이 되면 향후에 석사과정과 박사과정 게임교육 커리큘럼을 연구를 진행할 예정이다.

The detection efficiency study of NaI(Tl) scintillation detector with the different numbers of SiPMs

  • SiPMs are generally coupled into whole columns in gamma energy spectrum measurement, but the relationship between the distribution of whole SiPM columns and the energy resolution of the measured energy spectra is rarely reported. In this work, ∅ 3 × 3 inch NaI scintillator is placed on an 8 × 8 SiPM array, and the energy resolution of the 137Cs peak at 662 keV corresponding to the γ-ray is selected as a reference. Each SiPM is switched to explore the influence of the number of SiPM arrays, distribution position, and reflective layer on the energy resolution of SiPMs. Results show that without coupling, the energy resolution is greatly improved when the number of SiPMs ranges from 4 to 32. However, after 32 slices (the area covered by SiPMs relative to the scintillator reaches 25.9%), the improvement in energy resolution and total pulse count is not obvious. In addition, the position of SiPMs relative to the scintillator does not exert much impact on the energy resolution. Results also indicate that by adding a reflective film (ESR), the energy resolution of the tested group increases by 10.38% on average. This work can provide a reference for the design and application of miniaturized SiPM gamma spectrometers.

시각디자인을 전공한 직업능력표준 개발에 관한 연구 -중국 장쑤성 S 대학을 중심으로- (A study on the development of job competency standards majoring in visual design -Focused on S University in Jiangsu Province, China -)

  • 최근 중국 시각디자인 분야 기업들은 학교인재 양성의 질적 저하, 졸업생의 개인 능력은 기업의 요구를 만족시킬 수 없는 문제를 반영하고 있다. 이를 해결하기 위해서는 선진국처럼 완전한 시각디자인 분야 NCS 제도가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 학생의 자기 평가, 기업의 직업 요구, 학교 교육 방식 세 가지 측면에서 분석하고 한국 시각디자인 분야의 국가직업능력표준을 참고해 중국 시각디자인 분야의 직업능역표준을 개발하는 것이다. 연구방법은 한국 시각디자인 분야의 국가직업표준을 바탕으로 중국 장쑤성 S 대학의 시각디자인학과 교육제도를 분석하고 시각디자인학과 졸업생들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하는 한편 중국 시각디자인회사의 직업요건을 참고해 중국 시각디자인 분야의 국가직업표준을 개발하는 것이다. 이를 분석해서 연구결과는 중국 시각디자인 분야 국가직업능력표준의 개발방안을 제시하였다.

  • China has been pursuing continuous education reforms in order to complement the shortcomings of traditional education and to prepare for a new era in accordance with the development of the economy and society. School facilities were rapidly increased due to rapid population growth in the 60s and 70s, but the quality of the school facilities was low considering the efficiency and economy, and the regional variation was serious. The National Standard for School Design was enacted in 1986. Since then, we have proposed a new national standard in 2011 in accordance with social change and educational needs, and it has reached the present time. The purpose of this study is to analyze the main contents of "Code for design of school(GB50099-2011)" which is a standard study for Chinese school design as a basic study to understand changes in school architecture in China.

Study on multi-objective optimization method for radiation shield design of nuclear reactors

  • The optimization design problem of nuclear reactor radiation shield is a typical multi-objective optimization problem with almost 10 sub-objectives and the sub-objectives are always demanded to be under tolerable limits. In this paper, a design method combining multi-objective optimization algorithms with paralleling discrete ordinate transportation code is developed and applied to shield design of the Savannah nuclear reactor. Three approaches are studied for light-weighted and compact design of radiation shield. Comparing with directly optimization with 10 objectives and the single-objective optimization, the approach by setting sub-objectives representing weight and volume as optimization objectives while treating other sub-objectives as constraints has the best performance, which is more suitable to reactor shield design.

Generative Artificial Intelligence for Structural Design of Tall Buildings

  • The implementation of artificial intelligence (AI) design for tall building structures is an essential solution for addressing critical challenges in the current structural design industry. Generative AI technology is a crucial technical aid because it can acquire knowledge of design principles from multiple sources, such as architectural and structural design data, empirical knowledge, and mechanical principles. This paper presents a set of AI design techniques for building structures based on two types of generative AI: generative adversarial networks and graph neural networks. Specifically, these techniques effectively master the design of vertical and horizontal component layouts as well as the cross-sectional size of components in reinforced concrete shear walls and frame structures of tall buildings. Consequently, these approaches enable the development of high-quality and high-efficiency AI designs for building structures.
