설계VE의 기능정의 명사부 분석을 통한 농촌주택 외부요소의 건축 계획적 연구 (A Study of outer space elements characteristics in rural houses through an analysis of Function Definition Nouns at the Design VE Phase)

  • This study attempts to understanding of outer space elements in a rural house through an analysis nouns for function definition phase in design value engineering. To choose main check objects, this study examines requests by rural dwellers and analyze function definition in design value engineering. The rural dwellers prefers that barrier free design, outdoor working space and security of calamity. Each selected elements are classified the nouns into a main noun by analysis function definition nouns at design VE phase. The nouns are reclassified into the main nouns as a distance, a space, and a form.

  • Main elements in definition of space value were physical, formal, and reasonable characteristics in the past. Howener recently, definition of space value is changing by being advanced about study concerned with human's cognition and thinking way in definition and analysis of space. As you see, cognitive psychologists have emphasized the importance of human's cognitive structure and process and studied diverse aspects of human's thinking ; consciousness, perception, memory, image, language, decision-making, inference, and so on. Therefore main elements in definition of space value are five-dimensional, psychological, symbolic, mental, emotional characteristics above physical, formal, and reasonable characteristics. As mentioned above, the conversion of thinking focused on reason to thinking focused on human's spirit and emotion is achieved in contemporary architecture and 'human's experience' in space becomes a very important factor. For that reason, the purpose of this study is consideration of human's cognitive process in space by conversion of thinking and gives a definition about experience. And, I would like to define 'experience design' whose main attribute is experience in space and establish theoretical basis of experience design through theoretical researches about experience. This study on experience design that induces users to participate in space and stimulate human's spirit is a important point in definition of space value not only contemporary interior architecture but also prospective generation.

  • This paper will describe design process and its results that are minimized unaddressed feature of product development processes. This process provides integrated system design process by context analysis of EIA 632 standard process, interface definition from activity decomposition, integration of related activities, and definition of concurrency & sequential activities flow. This process and method application will contribute to minimize time loss that is emerged from activities iteration by not definitely definition of activities interface.

  • This study describes process and method to establish concurrent and/or sequential schedule planning for the system design process of the EIA632 standard. For this purpose, the study suggest Process and method that are context analysis of standard process, interface definition from activity decomposition, integration of related activities, and definition of concurrent and/or sequential work flow. The proposed process and method will contribute to minimize time loss that is emerged from activities iteration.

  • This paper will describe integrated system design process and its application. Integrated design process is performed activities concurrently and sequentially for product development. For a group of activities to be truly integrated, the flow of deliverables among them must be well defined, and committed to. For this purpose, the study will suggest procedure that is executed context analysis of standard process, interface definition from activity decomposition, integration of related activities, and definition of concurrency & sequential activities flow, This procedure and method will contribute to minimize time loss that is emerged from activities iteration by not definitely definition of activities interface.

전문가 인식 조사에 의한 공학 설계 능력의 정의 및 하위 영역과 요소 도출 (Abstraction of the Definition of Engineering Design Ability and its Subdivision and Element by the Survey of Experts' Recognition)

  • The purpose of this research is to consider theoretical points of view on a preceding research related to an engineering design and abstract the definition of engineering design ability, its subdivision and element on the basis of experts' recognition. To achieve this goal, various literature researches were carried out by examining domestic and foreign articles in journals, lots of dissertations, and books related to engineering design through theoretical consideration. And to secure the validity on the definition of engineering design ability, its subdivision and element through the theoretical study, a feasibility evaluation method by the experts was applied. And the feasibility evaluation of the experts was conducted through 2 stages. The major conclusions of this study are as follows. Firstly, based on the experts' recognition on the definition of engineering design ability, its subdivision and element, which were revised through the 1st feasibility evaluation and then utilized in the 2st one, the validity was confirmed, and the subdivisions of the engineering design ability were divided into 5 and the elements of the subdivision ability were 33. Secondly, the engineering design ability was defined as "the one to design a realizable product with consumers' demand fully satisfying, based on a knowledge application ability, thinking ability, communication ability, problem-solving ability, and teamwork ability to solve engineering problems." Thirdly, the subdivisions of the engineering design ability were divided as a knowledge application ability, thinking ability, communication ability, problem-solving ability, and teamwork ability.

범죄예방 환경설계 관점에서 공동주택 단지 내 공공보행통로의 개선방안 연구 (Improvements of the Public Pedestrian Passage in the Apartment Complex from Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design Aspect)

  • A public pedestrian passage induces traffic into the apartment complex, and therefore, it requires the application of Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design(CPTED). This paper aims to analyze the conditions and to suggest the improvements of public pedestrian passages in apartment complexes, applying a 3-D approach from CPTED aspect. The first aspect is "Designation": 1)The linkage between the public pedestrian passages is weak, and their designated purpose becomes unclear. 2)When the designated purpose is not considered for each complex, the closure rate is high. 3)The closure rate of the "Through type" is high. It suggests that the pedestrian network should be built and vitalized at the local urban level. The second aspect is "Definition." The public pedestrian passage lacks a social, cultural, and legal definition and only has a passive physical definition. It suggests that a legal definition and specialized guildline be prepared. The third aspect is "Design": 1)Insufficient territoriality exists between the public pedestrian passage and the inside of the complex. Territoriality should be reinforced between the public pedestrian passage and the rest of the internal territory. 2)The landscaping adjacent to the public pedestrian passage lacks deliberation. Since this is where safety and privacy collide, detailed design and maintenance of the landscaping is required. 3)It lacks systematical crime prevention facilities and should compensate accordingly.

브랜드의 정의에 관한 고찰 - 어원과 제도적 관점을 중심으로 - (A Study on Brand Definition - Focusing on etymology and institutional perspective -)

  • 브랜드에 관해서는 유독 여러 정의들이 존재하여 학제적 논의의 복잡성이 높다. 이에 그동안 산발적으로 흩어져있는 브랜드에 관한 정의들을 총체적으로 분류, 분석해 보고자 한다. 이는 브랜드의 응용 연구에 비해 학제적 개념 연구가 현저히 부실한 국내 브랜드 연구에 특히 필요한 콘텐츠다. 우선 총론에서는 브랜드에 관한 다양한 문헌 연구를 종합 분석하여 여러 정의들을 추출, 재분류하였다. 브랜드의 정의를 크게 상업적 문맥이 본격적으로 형성되기 이전의 어원적 정의와 제도적 관점에서의 정의, 그리고 본격적인 상업적 문맥이 형성된 후, 공급자 관점, 수요자 관점, 그리고 그 둘 간의 관계 혹은 상호작용 중심의 정의로 나누었으며 이들을 <표1>로 정리하였다. 각론에서는 어원적 정의와 제도적 관점에서의 정의를 중심으로 분석하였으며 'Brand'가 'brandr(불타는 나무)'라는 명확한 단어에서 유래한 것으로 일반적으로 알고 있는 'burn'과 차이가 있음을 밝혔다. 또한 이것이 cattle-branding을 거치면서 현대적 의미를 갖게 된 과정을 통하여 브랜드의 개념과 역사를 짚어보았다. 이와 함께 브랜드의 '법적 선언'인 'trademark'로서의 브랜드 의미를 살펴보고 브랜드가 생산자 및 소비자의 보호와 행정적 관리, 관련 산업의 육성 등을 가능케 하는 사회의 중요한 법적, 제도적 시스템으로 정착되는 과정을 분석했다. 결론적으로 어원적 정의와 제도적 관점에서의 정의는 브랜드의 역사를 고스란히 반영하고 있는 가장 본원적이며 사전적인 정의임을 강조하였다. 이는 이후 브랜드와 관련된 여러 응용 연구에 있어서 그 개념적 초석을 제공하기 때문이다.

인허가관련 설계품질검토 자동화를 위한 건축법규 문장 관계논리에 관한 연구 (Relational Logic Definition of Articles and Sentences in Korean Building Code for the Automated Building Permit System)

  • This paper aims to define the relational logic of in-between code articles as well as within atomic sentences in Korean Building Code, as an intermediate research and development process for the automated building permit system of Korea. The approach depicted in this paper enables the software developers to figure out the logical relations in order to compose KBimCode and its databases. KBimCode is a computer-readable form of Korean Building Code sentences based on a logic rule-based mechanism. Two types of relational logic definition are described in this paper. First type is a logic definition of relation between code sentences. Due to the complexity of Korean Building code structure that consists of decree, regulation or ordinance, an intensive analysis of sentence relations has been performed. Code sentences have a relation based on delegation or reference each other. Another type is a relational logic definition in a code sentence based on translated atomic sentence(TAS) which is an explicit form of atomic sentence(AS). The analysis has been performed because the natural language has intrinsic ambiguity which hinders interpreting embedded meaning of Building Code. Thus, both analyses have been conducted for capturing accurate meaning of building permit-related requirements as a part of the logic rule-based mechanism.
