Headdresses in 2010 S/S-2015 S/S Paris haute couture collections were analyzed in the following categories: years, season, brand, type, color, material, and image. The types of headdresses were categorized as hat, hood, decorative or complex types. The hat type was elegant with a modern style, and coexisted with an exaggerated avant garde style. The hood type wrapped around the head with many examples having a distinctive sculpture on top of the knot. The decorative type varied dramatically in form and materials. The complex type was a blend of all the other types with the designer's individuality being outstanding. The characteristics of headdresses were revealed first, as an enlargement of the materials category, second, as an expression of dramatic forms, and third, as complete coordination of the creative fashion image. The headdresses illustrate the designer's creativity in producing a variety of images. Henceforth they will be important as fashion items and independent designs in fashion styling.

  • AI-based smart factory technologies are only increase short-term productivity. To solve this problem, collaborative intelligence combines human teamwork, creativity, AI speed, and accuracy to actively compensate for each other's shortcomings. However, current automation equipmens require high safety measures due to the high disaster intensity in the event of an accident. In this paper, we design and implement a factory safety control system that uses a depth camera to implement workers and facilities in the virtual world and to determine the safety of workers through simulation.

  • Portfolio assessment provides many opportunities to foster children's creativity and to increase their responsibility for learning. few research study has been conducted in this area, and this assessment method has scarcely been administered in primary science class, Proper and effective use of portfolio assessment in our primary science class requires basic research on how to design and administer the method. Based on the earlier study on typical structures and components of portfolio assessment, the assessment instrument was developed on various primary science topics, The development team was consisted of one science education specialist and nine pre-service elementary school teachers. It takes ten months to develop instruments for 27 class hours. The development process was reciprocal in that development and revision cycle was repeated more than 7 times. The portfolio assessment instruments consist of instructional objectives, developers' evidence for the objectives, and assessment criteria. Adopting a new way of assessment into science class inevitably causes lots of confusions to teachers and children. The absence of basic research studies must be a critical barrier for successful administration of a new assessment method such as portfolio assessment. further research is required in the preparation and administration of portfolio assessment in our primary science classroom.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to investigate nurses readiness to self-directed learning and its correlations with nursing practice competence in a tertiary hospital in Seoul, Korea. Methods: A cross sectional survey design was utilized to assess nurses readiness to self-directed learning and job performance. The data used in this study were obtained from 286 nurses who have been working on general ward for over 1 year. Data were analyzed by ANOVA, t-test, Pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression using SAS 9.1 program. Results: The mean score of the readiness to self-directed learning is 3.56 and that of nursing practice competence is 2.71. The readiness to self-directed learning was statistically different according to level of education, and clinical work experience. Nursing practice competence was also significantly different according to level of education, clinical work experience, marital status, age, and working division. The readiness to self-directed learning and nursing practice competence seem to have significant positive correlation to each other (r=.555, p<.001). The readiness to self-directed learning explains 32.0% of nursing practice competence (F=20.20, p<.001). Conclusion: These findings indicate that program development for enhancing the readiness to self-directed learning is needed to improve nursing practice competence. We also need continuous efforts to improve nurses initiatives and creativity.
