For hydrologic applications, lake levels is very important. As a first step in developing a remote-sensing based approach, lake stage estimation using remote sensing was proposed with the SRTM data from February 2000, which was providing a one-time snapshot. After several steps using contouring, masking, and CED, it was found that iterative contour fitting to a lake outline provided the outstanding result with the operator's decision. If the lake size is large enough, a constant meter of the difference removal due to bias found by Bhang et al. (2007) might be useful for more accurate estimations for the methods. A lake-level snapshot using SRTM data could provide estimates within 0.5 m level of accuracy for large lakes (> $10km^2$) with contouring. Also, even if the processing algorithm is complex, the accuracy was reliable. Overall, we confirmed that this study would provide useful information to ameliorate the quality of the SAR-derived DEMs specifically for water areas and if more expanded, SAR images can fruit result in water monitoring.

The purpose of this study is to derive the demands to develop marine science technology to reduce damage of disasters caused by boating accidents. This study analyzed the press release to identify the factors of damages that can result from boating accidents and derive the demands for technology development to approach from the perspective of marine science technology to avoid the elements of damage. For this purpose, this study analyzed the contents of about 77,000 articles posted for a month after the tragedy of the Sewol (April 16 - May 15) to derive the keywords and used SNA for the network analysis of each keyword. The findings of the analysis showed that there were five networks and each network consisted of different aspects of technology development to prepare for the marine disasters. Based on these findings, this study derived the demands for technology development from the perspective of marine science technology required to prepare for the possible marine disasters caused by vessels in the future.

Organophosphorus pesticides (OPPs) contents in the sewage sludge derived from the residential and industrial areas were determined in order to characterize contemporary organic contamination levels as a part of the ongoing development of the environmentally sound sewage sludge management strategy in Korea. OPPs were extracted from freeze-dried sludges in a ultrasonic extractor. The extracts were cleaned-up by florisil column and subsequently fed into gas chromatograph/nitrogen phosphorus detector (GC/NPD) for determining OPP contents. Diazinon, dimethoate, disulfoton, EPN, malathion, methyl parathion, parathion, phorate and sulfotep were present in the appreciable amount in the domestic sewage sludges. The importance of communities of practice(CoP) as an organizational informal unit for fostering knowledge transfer and sharing gains a lot of attention from KM researchers and practitioners. Since most of CoPs are formulated online these days, the credibility or trustworthiness of knowledge contents circulated within a certain CoP should be considered thoroughly for them to be fully utilized safely. Here comes the need for an appropriate trust measuring methodology to determine the true value of knowledge given by unknown people through an online channel. In this paper, an improved trust measuring method is proposed using new trust variables such as level of degrees derived from the relationships among community users. In addition, activeness, relevance, and usefulness of the knowledge contents themselves, which are calculated automatically using a text categorization technique, are also used for trust measurement. The proposed framework incorporates fuzzy set and calculation concepts to help build trust matrices and models, which are used to measure the level of trust involved in specific knowledge artifacts concerned.

암호학에 적용되는 실난수 발생기는 기본적인 잡음 메카니즘으로부터 유도된 불예측적이고, 편이성을 가지지 않은 이진 수열을 요구한다. 본 논문에서는 하드웨어로 구현된 실난수 발생기가 편이성을 가진 출력수열을 통계적으로 제거하기 위해 필터기법을 사용한다. 사용된 필터처리기법에서 윈도우크기에 따른 손실율을 분석하여 적합한 윈도우 크기를 제안하고자 한다.

The present paper examines the effect of "community of learning" factors as well as learning and contextual factors on the e-learning performance empirically. The concept of community of learning, which was derived from community of practice, has not been emphasized in previous studies on e-learning. Data were collected from 226 people who had experienced e-learning and multiple regression analysis was used to analyze the data. The results are as follows; First, learning motivation and appropriateness of learning contents, ease of system use, and knowledge sharing have a positive effect on learner's satisfaction. Whereas, learning motivation, appropriateness of learning contents, ease of system use, knowledge sharing, and activated communication are appeared to affect the ability of performing tasks significantly.

Wireless communication chipsets have fixed transmission rate and communication distance. Although there are many kinds of chipsets with throughput and distance purpose, they cannot support various types of wireless applications. This paper provides theoretic research results in order to support various wireless applications requiring different throughput, delayed quality-of-service (QoS), and different communication distances by using a wireless communication chipset with fixed rate and transmission power. As a performance metric, the probability for a data frame that successfully receives at a desired receiver is adopted. Based on this probability, the average number of transmission in order to make a successful frame transmission is derived. Equations are utilized to analyze the performance of a single-hop with channel coding and a dual-hop without error correction matter transmission system. Our results revealed that single-hop transmission assisted by channel coding could extend its communication distance. However, communication range extending effect of the single-hop system was limited. Accordingly, dual-hop transmission is needed to overcome the communication distance limit of a chipset.

증강현실은 사용자가 보고 있는 실세계의 영상과 컴퓨터가 생성한 가상의 영상이 실시간으로 합성된 영상을 제공하여 사용자에게 실세계에 대한 이해 및 현실감을 높여주는 기술이다. 본 논문에서는 이 증강현실 기술을 의류쇼핑에 효과적으로 적용할 수 있는 방안으로써, 자동판매기라는 판매매체를 제안하여 상업적 활용방법을 모색하였고, Prototype을 제작하였다.

SAR 데이터는 기상이나 일조량의 제약을 받지 않고 능동적으로 자료를 취득할 수 있다는 장점 때문에 지표면의 시계열 분석자료로서 활용성이 높고, 재해와 같은 돌발상황의 경우에 신속하게 자료를 취득할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 JERS-1 SAR 영상의 L-밴드 데이터로부터 InSAR 방법과 DInSAR 기법을 이용하여 DEM을 추출하고자 하였다. 축척 1:5000 수치 지형도에서 추출한 DEM을 표준 비교자료로 하여 SAR 영상으로부터 추출한 DEM의 정확도를 평가하고자 한다.

다층 퍼셉트론의 학습을 빠르게 하기 위한 방법으로 층별 학습이 제안되었었다. 이 방법에서는 각 층별로 주어진 오차함수를 최적화 방법을 사용하여 감소시키도록 학습이 이루어진다. 이 경우 중간층 오차함수가 학습의 성능에 큰 영향을 미치는 데, 이 논문에서는 층별 학습의 성능을 개선하기 위한 중간층 오차함수를 제안한다. 이 중간층 오차함수는 출력층 오차함수에서 중간층 가중치의 학습에 관계된 성분을 유도하는 형태로 제안된다. 제안한 방법은 필기체 숫자 인식과 고립단어인식 문제의 시뮬레이션으로 효용성을 확인하였다.
