시뮬레이션 기법을 이용한 철도차량 중정비 공장 설계검증 - 디젤동차 및 발전차 중정비 공장을 중심으로 - (An Evaluation of Development Plans for Rolling Stock Maintenance Shop Using Computer Simulation - Emphasizing CDC and Generator Car -)

  • 철도차량기지에서는 철도차량의 안전한 운행을 위해 연간검수 이상의 기기보전(지정보전, 장치보전), 차체 보전을 위한 장기계획에 의해 종합적인 유지보수 혹은 중대사고에 의한 차량의 파손으로 인한 차량의 보수작업이 이루어지는 중수선 작업을 수행한다. 본 연구에서는 용산기지 이전과 관련하여 대전철도차량관리단 부지 내에 계획 중인 CDC(Commuter Diesel Car)와 발전차를 정비하는 중수선 시설의 설계안에 대한 검증을 위한 시뮬레이션 모델을 개발하고 시뮬레이션 실험을 통하여 중수선 시설의 용량을 검증하였다. 시뮬레이션 모델은 철도공사의 중정비 검수공정도를 바탕으로 2가지 설계안의 설계용량을 검증하였다. 2가지 설계안을 평가하기 위하여 검수 완료 차량, 재장일, 작업장 점유율, 공정진행 차량수 및 입장검사 대기차량수 등 5가지를 분석하여 연간 검수용량이 충분한 설계안을 선정 하였다. 또한 우수한 결과를 보인 설계안의 연간 최대 검수 가능한 차량 수는 현재 연간 검수량 보다 약 15% 많은 총 340량임을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • K1A1 tank commander's primary thermal sight is a device that enables tank commanders to detect, identify, aim and track the target by observing targets in all directions during day, night and in situations of smokescreen and fog through $360^{\circ}$ rotation independent from the gunner's primary thermal sight and stabilizing the line of sight even under the vibrations occurring when the tank is standstill and moving. The main function of this device is to detect and process visible and thermal images and deliver the final images to the tank commander. One of the core parts to that end is the observation window (daytime/thermal image window). This core part is mounted at the entrance of the optical path for observing the target and plays the role of making visible light during the daytime and infrared light during the night pass through the target and transmitting the resultant images to the internal optical system of the tank commander's primary thermal sight. Such core parts have been selected as depot maintenance items so that they are replaced by new parts instead of being recycled when they are subjected to maintenance in most cases. That is, the military budget is wasted because such parts are replaced by new parts despite that they can be recycled for maintenance. Therefore, this study proposed a mounting tool for polishing and coating observation windows (daytime and thermal image window) using planar polishing equipment and DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coating equipment. In addition, this study presented an amendment (proposal) of the Depot Maintenance Work Request (DMWR) already published to verify the performance of recycled products including the establishment of inspection standards for recycling processes.

철도 물류기지 구축을 통한 남북철도 활성화 방안 연구 - 동해선을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Revitalization Strategy for Inter-Korean Railway by Building the Railway Logistics Depot - Focused on the Donghae Line -)

  • 우리나라의 철도운송 분담율은 매년 6%를 유지하고 있으나 철도물류에 대한 지속적인 투자 및 물류 합리화 여부에 따라 철도물류는 상반된 결과를 가져올 것이다. 철도물류의 발전에 크게 기여할 것으로 예상되는 남북철도 뿐만 아니라 철도물류에 대한 연구가 상당히 미흡한 상황에서 철도 물류기지의 수요예측, 규모를 예측하고, 물류기지를 통한 남북철도 활성화 방안을 연구하고자 하였다. 철도 물류기지를 통한 남북철도의 활성화 방안으로서 첫째, 물류기지에서 취급하는 석탄 수요자와의 파트너쉽을 강화하여야 하며, 둘째, 강릉에서 제진까지 동해 북부선의 건설이 필요할 뿐만 아니라 노후화된 북측 선로의 유지보수에 필요한 재정적 지원이 이루어져야 한다. 셋째, 장·단거리 운송 및 대형 화주에 대한 철도운임을 탄력적으로 적용할 필요가 있으며, 넷째, 해외 광산개발 참여 등을 통하여 철도 운송권을 확보하여야 하고, 다섯째, 양회사와 같은 소형 화주를 지속적으로 발굴하여야 한다.

철도인공대지에 건설된 아파트의 방진대책(II): 설계변수 (Vibration Reduction for a Railway Depot Building (II): Design Parameters)

  • 전편에서 제시되었던 진동소음 데이터를 기초로 하여 철도차량기지 주변에 기 건설되어 있던 고층아파트 단지의 진동소음 방지대책 수립에 필요한 쟁점들을 검토하고 설계단계에서 필요한 방진기법을 논하였다. 특히, 차량운행속도, 인공대지의 물리적 특징, 건축물 지지구조의 물성치, 아파트 층별구조의 동특성 등에 대하여 진동측면에서 논의하였다. 논문에서 제안된 설계변수와 사례는 향후 개발 예상되는 철도 주변 부지 건축물의 환경문제를 최소화하는 가이드라인으로 사용될 수 있다. 특히, 주민이 거주하는 건축물에 대해서는 설계단계에서부터 합리적인 소음진동 방지대책의 적용이 요구되며, 적극적인 대책을 수립하면 사회적인 비용 또한 저감될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

전투장비 엔진의 캐비테이션 영향에 따른 실린더 라이너의 내구성 강화 방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improving the Enhanced Durability of Cylinder Liner according to Cavitation Influence of Combat Equipment Engine)

  • Cylinder liners used in diesel engines of combat equipment are prone to cavitation due to wet cooling. The damage caused by erosion and corrosion due to cavitation has a fatal effect on the performance and lifespan of a diesel engine. Therefore, a study was conducted to improve the durability of cylinder liners. Two surface treatment techniques were proposed: nitriding and chrome plating. It was observed that the amount of erosion on the surface of nitride-treated cylinder liners was high because the surface-treated part eroded due to its weak impact resistance against the bubble explosion generated by cavitation. In contrast, the chrome-plated cylinder liner had a lower amount of erosion among the specimens subjected to the accelerated test. These results verified that the resistance of chrome-plated liners against cavitation is high. Therefore, it can withstand the impact of bubble explosion. If the chrome plating thickness is set with reference to the KS standard, an exceptional durability of abrasion, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance can be obtained. If the thickness is set between 120~250㎛, it is expected that the durability of the cylinder liner can be improved. Although a recovery method for corroded cylinder liners is suggested, the proposed method has an inherent risk of crack generation. Therefore, further research is required to solve this problem.

  • 대한항공은 유인 헬리콥터를 무인화 후 원격 조종으로 제자리 비행을 수행하는 것을 무인 헬리콥터 개발의 1단계 목표로 수립하였다. 개발 목표를 달성하기 위해 대한항공은 유인기의 창급정비와 기체 개조 수행 후 체계통합, 지상시험, 안전줄 시험을 순차적으로 수행하며 단계별로 무인 헬리콥터 체계의 조종성과 비행안전성을 검증하였다. 특히 검증의 마지막 단계에서 사용한 안전줄시험 기법은 완전무인화된 무인 헬리콥터 체계에 대해 비행안전성과 조종성을 검증할 수 있는 유효한 방법임을 확인하였다.

RIMS 데이타를 활용한 전동차 운행 신뢰성 향상방안 (The Rolling Stock operation reliability improvement plan which applies a data base of the RIMS)

  • RIMS(Rolling Stock Information Maintenance System) was installed in structure which it can analyze the data base in need of credibility maintenance. So it could accumulate real data without repulsion of working spot. Information system was installed not following to system but following to working spot. The development of RIMS project was started from March 29, 2001 and it has been operating from October 12, 2004 in Chang-dong Car depot for light maintenance in charge subway line4. So substantial data base was accumulated for three years. This study calculated all RAMS data by analyzing data base accumulated in RIMS and used in dada base about credibility maintenance and found investigation of propriety, expectation of the life cycle cost, the improvement plan on credibility of sorts of cars and formation about the cycle of repairing and maintenance. This got MKBSF MKBF and MTBF about devices and sorts of line4 Rolling Stocks for it.

  • Management innovation as a strategic alternative to create competitive advantages in the global market, is being actively progressed by conglomerates such as Samsung, LG and Toyoda as they cut a brilliant figure in the 21 century by using various innovation methods. However, the domestic railway sectors, in particular urban railway depots have neglected management innovation as they undertake Operation and Management in non-competitive settings of a corporate enterprise. This paper analyzes the critical success factors that have switched the most obsolete depots to a benchmark model for domestic railway depots based on the remodeling businesses undertaken in Gunja rolling stock maintenance office, Korea's first urban railway depot, along with 5S 6sigma program.

CVP 분석을 이용한 전투기 외부 도장면 제거 공정의 경제성 분석 (An Economical Efficiency Analysis of De-painting Process for Fighter Jets using CVP Analysis)

  • The Korean Air-Force aircraft maintenance depot paints the exterior of various aircraft, including high-tech fighters. Aircraft exterior painting is a maintenance process for long-term life management by preventing damage to the aircraft surface due to corrosion. The de-painting process is essential to ensure the quality of aircraft exterior paints. However, because the Korean Air-Force's de-painting process is currently done with sanding or Plastic Media Blasting (PMB) method, it is exposed to harmful dust and harmful compounds and consumes a lot of manpower. This study compares the de-painting process currently applied by the ROK Air-Force and the more improved process of the US Air Force, and performs economic analysis for the introduction of advanced equipment. It aims to provide information that can determine the optimal time to introduce new facilities through Cost-Volume-Profit (CVP) analysis. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that the sanding method had the most economical efficiency up to 2 units per year, the PMB method from 3 to 21 units, and the laser method from 22 units or more. In addition, in a situation where the amount of de-painting work is expected to increase significantly due to the increase in fighters in future, BEP analysis was conducted on the expansion of the existing PMB method and the introduction of a new laser method. As a result of the analysis, it was confirmed that it is more economical to introduce the laser method when the amount of work exceeds the PMB work capacity(18 units per year). The paper would helpful to improve the productivity and quality of the Korean Air Force Aircraft maintenance depot through timely changes of facilities in the workplace in preparation for expansion.
