SOFM을 이용한 센서 네트워크의 지능적인 배치 방식 (Intelligent Deployment Method of Sensor Networks using SOFM)

  • 본 논문에서는 센서 네트워크의 원활한 전송을 위해 SOFM을 이용한 센서 네트워크의 지능적인 배치를 제안한다. 제안한 방법은 무선 채널 분석을 통해서 센서 노드 사이의 통신이 가능한 거리를 구하고, 신경회로망의 SOFM(Self-Organizing Feature Map)방식을 이용하여 지능적으로 최적의 센서 노드의 개수와 센서 노드가 배치할 최적 위치를 결정한다. Log-normal path loss 모델을 이용하여 거리에 따른 PRR(Packet Reception Rate)을 구하고, 이것으로부터 센서 노드의 통신 범위를 결정한다. 제안한 방식의 유용성을 확인하기 위하여 센서 노드의 지능적인 위치 탐색과 센서 네트워크의 연결 상태에 대한 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다.

Efficient Idle Virtual Machine Management for Heterogeneous Cloud using Common Deployment Model

  • This paper presents an effective management of VM (Virtual Machine) for heterogeneous cloud using Common Deployment Model (CDM) brokering mechanism. The effective utilization of VM is achieved by means of task scheduling with VM placement technique. The placements of VM for the physical machine are analyzed with respect to execution time of the task. The idle time of the VMis utilized productively in order to improve the performance. The VMs are also scheduled to maintain the state of the current VM after the task completion. CDM based algorithm maintains two directories namely Active Directory (AD) and Passive Directory (PD). These directories maintain VM with proper configuration mapping of the physical machines to perform two operations namely VM migration and VM roll back. VM migration operation is performed from AD to PD whereas VM roll back operation is performed from PD to AD. The main objectives of the proposed algorithm is to manage the VM's idle time effectively and to maximize the utilization of resources at the data center. The VM placement and VM scheduling algorithms are analyzed in various dimensions of the cloud and the results are compared with iCanCloud model.

Implementation of DevOps based Hybrid Model for Project Management and Deployment using Jenkins Automation Tool with Plugins

  • Project management and deployment has gone through a long journey from traditional and agile to continuous integration, continuous deployment and continuous monitoring. Software industry benefited with the latest buzzword in the development process, DevOps that not only escalates software productivity but at the same time enhances software quality. But the implementation and assessment of DevOps practices is expository as there are no guidelines to assess and improvise DevOps application in software industries. Hence, there was a need to develop a hybrid model to assist software practitioners in DevOps implementation. The intention behind this paper is to implement the already proposed DevOps hybrid model using suggested tool chains including Jenkins, Selenium, GitLab, Ansible and Nagios automation tools through Jenkins project management environment and plugins. To achieve this implementation objective, a java application is developed with a web-based graphical interface. Further, in this paper, different challenges and benefits of Jenkins implementation shall also be outlined. The paper also presents the effectiveness of DevOps based Model implementation in software organizations. The impact of considering other automation tools and models can also be considered as a part of further research.

운전석 및 조수석 에어백 단품의 유한요소 모델링과 전개 과정 해석 (Finite Element Modeling of Folded Airbag and Analysis of Deployment Process)

  • The deployment process of fully folded airbag is analyzed. The methodology of finite element modeling is presented for flat driver side airbag and 3-dimensional passenger side airbag. 'Initial metric option' is used to model 3-dimensional passenger side airbag before deployment. The deformed shapeds and pressure waveforms inside cushion evaluated from simulation are compared to the test results. The agreements between the simulation and the experiments are satisfactory, and the results of simulation are confirmed to be applied to the design of airbag module.

품질기능전개를 이용한 자본예산투자프로젝트 선정방법 (A Selection Method for Capital Budgeting Projects with Quality Function Deployment)

  • The purpose of this paper is to describe a new analytic method of capital budgeting projects that takes into account both customer wants and competitor's status and to give decision makers a tool for goal setting and planning for technology. This model, which is based on quality function deployment(QFD), has used the analytic hierarchy process(AHP) to determine the intensity of the relationship between the variables involved in each matrix of the model and the 0-1 integer programming to determine the allocation of funds to various technological projects. This paper also proposes how to calculate the new weight of columns to consider various strength levels of roof matrix, representing the correlation among the quality characteristics, using Lyman's normalization procedure. To compare this model with Partovi's model, I adapt the same example which is suggested by Partovi and I show that the value of object function, has maximization problem, in this model is larger than that in Partovi's model.

공력면 전개 모사를 위한 공력 모델링 연구 (A Study of Aerodynamic Modelling for Fin Unfolding Motion Analysis)

  • 접힌 공력면이 전개하는 운동을 모사하기 위하여 전개 운동 방정식을 수립하고 공력면에 작용하는 모멘트 등을 모델링하였다. 공력에 의한 롤 모멘트는 정적 롤 모멘트와 감쇠 모멘트로 이루어져 있으며 정적 롤 모멘트는 전개 하중 측정을 위한 풍동 시험을 통하여 획득한 정적 롤 모멘트 계수로부터 계산된다. 롤 감쇠 계수는 패널법을 이용한 수치 해석을 통하여 산출되었는데 전개 각속도로부터 유발된 받음각에 상응하는 변위각을 공력면에 적용하여 수치해석을 하였다. 공력면 형상에 적용한 변위각은 회전 중심으로부터 공력면 끝단까지 선형적으로 증가하며 회전 중심에서는 변위가 없다. 롤 감쇠 계수는 전개 각속도에 따른 롤 모멘트 계수의 변화율로 계산되며 공력조건과 전개각의 함수이고 전개 각속도에 대해서는 일정하다고 가정하였다. 롤 감쇠를 포함하여 모사된 공력면의 전개 모사는 시험과 비교하여 유사한 결과를 보여주었다.

음향 탐지 성능지표 기반의 센서노드 최적 배치 연구 (Optimal Deployment of Sensor Nodes based on Performance Surface of Acoustic Detection)

  • The goal of this study is to develop an algorithm to propose optimal deployment of detection sensor nodes in the target area, based on a performance surface, which represents detection performance of active and passive acoustic sonar systems. The performance surface of the active detection system is calculated from the azimuthal average of maximum detection ranges, which is estimated with a transmission loss and a reverberation level predicted using ray-based theories. The performance surface of the passive system is calculated using the transmission loss model based on a parabolic equation. The optimization of deployment configurations is then performed by a hybrid method of a virtual force algorithm and a particle swarm optimization. Finally, the effectiveness of deployment configurations is analyzed and discussed with the simulation results obtained using the algorithm proposed in this paper.

품질 4.0: 개념, 요소, 수준 평가와 전개 방향 (Quality 4.0: Concept, Elements, Level Evaluation and Deployment Direction)

  • Purpose: This article aims 1) to propose Quality 4.0 concept through surveying related literature, 2) to suggest key elements of Quality 4.0 by arranging the elements of Quality 4.0 that appeared in the literature, 3) to determine the levels of Quality 4.0, and 4) to suggest ideas for effective deployment of Quality 4.0. Methods: Eleven papers or documents are reviewed for Quality 4.0 concept; two papers and one document are investigated for key element extraction of Quality 4.0; and smart factory roadmap and industry 4.0 maturity model are studied to determine the levels of Quality 4.0. Results: 1) Quality 4.0 definition is proposed. 2) Three key elements are determined: data acquisition and analytics, connection and integration, and leadership and culture. 3) Six Quality 4.0 levels are determined. 4) Some suggestions are addressed for effective deployment of Quality 4.0. Conclusion: 1) Definition, key elements, levels, and some suggestions on effective deployment of Quality 4.0 are addressed. 2) Specific contents of Quality 4.0 education and training courses should be provided in the future. 3) Two future research directions are proposed.

  • 잠수함으로부터 발사되는 SLBM은 은밀성으로 인해 탐지가 매우 제한적이며 이는 안보에 심각한 위협으로 인식된다. 본 연구는 SLBM의 효과적인 탐지를 위한 구축함 배치 최적화 문제를 고려한다. 최적화 모델은 2인 제로섬 게임을 기반으로 하여, 상대방의 입장에서 SLBM이 최대한 탐지되지 않는 발사 및 도착 지점과 비행궤적을 결정하고자 하며, 우리의 입장에서는 상대방의 SLBM 탐지를 최대화할 수 있는 구축함의 배치 계획을 수립한다. 제시된 2인 제로섬 게임 모델은 선형계획법으로 변환하여 최적해를 구할 수 있으며, 가상의 임의 구역과 시나리오를 생성하여 계산 실험을 수행하고 본 연구에서 제시하는 모델을 통해 게임에서의 상대방과 우리의 최적 혼합전략을 도출한 결과를 보여준다.
