Some confusion in the terminology concerning the weld quality and its assurance seems caused by the different practises currently in use around the world. Qualified welding personnel are not automatically certified personnel. Education and training are the tools to obtain qualification. Flexibility in training and education seems logical and the most cost-effective way to obtain qualified personnel. A third party seems essential for issuing recognised Certificates. Manufacturers of welded products continue to face increased demands and concerns regarding weld quality. The following are the main conditions influencing weld quality: $\bigcirc$ Establishing reliable productions procedures and tests that meet the requirements of established codes and standards. $\bigcirc$ Finding qualified welding personnel capable of reliably carrying out established welding procedures. The issue of hiring and keeping skilled welding personnel has been a crucial consideration for manufacturers worldwide for the past few decades. It will continue to be a concern for decades to come.

This study is focused on the incustrial symbiosis based on industrial ecosystem theory. At first, the concept of industrial ecosystem was introduced. Industrial symbiosis is a good tool in order to make a harmony between industry and natural ecosystem. The good example of industrial symbiosis is the case of Kalundborg in Denmark, where 11 networks are working in four enterprises and one community nearby. It was proved that savings of natural resources and economic benefit are achieved by use of industrial symbiosis. Moreover, the control of pollutant emission was also done by use of advanced technology and investments. Based on this case. It was shown that industrial symbiosis through eco-industrial complex in Korea was confronted with many difficulties. First of all., loose emmision criteria, recycling system on wastes, and the absence of will for industrial symbiosis should be solved in Korea.

Fragrance-like style-is one of the intangible aspects of costume history that we often wish had been preserved. Garments were perfumed both to impart a pleasurable impression and to mask disagreeable odors from use or from production processes such as tanning and dyeing. Expensive gloves were traditionally perfumed, as well as lace collars, silk stockings and shawls. Both historical and modern attempts have been made to create scents that please the wearer and attract the oppoiste sex, while (preferable) also repelling osquitoes and moths! Unintentional perfuming also occurred, which we sometimes may be lucky to find in our museum collections. How do we describe and identify the transient odors of museum objects, and at what cost can they be preserved and presented for the public? This lecture includes samples of reconstructed historical scents presented in costume exhibitions at the Royal Danish Collections.

The transmission loss coefficient is very important acoustic property in parallel with absorption and acoustic impedance categorizing the acoustical materials, which can control the acoustical problems. At the same time, the transmission loss coefficient is a key parameter to choose the optimum material for the analysis of acoustical characteristics of material using SEA(Statistical Energy Analysis). In this paper, the transmission loss coefficient measurement system usiong 4-microphone impedance tube is proposed, based on the idea calculating the full transger matrix of the acoustical sample to test. The theoretical backgroung and measurement system are introduced, and finally the measurement results are verified.

이천년 12월부터 2001년 6월까지 6개월에 걸쳐 유럽의 북부에 위치하고 있는 덴마크왕국(The Kingdom of Denmark)을 방문하였다. 방문의 주요 목적은 덴마크의 식육검사 업무 특히 도축장에서의 해체검사업무에 대해 전반적으로 배우고자 하는 것이었으며 아울러 동물 질병진단 업무 및 국가 질병 진단시스템도 파악하고자 하였다. 여기에서는 세부적인 수행 업무는 생략하고 덴마크의 수의 및 위생분야에 관계하는 주요 국가기관에 대해 소개하고자 한다. 주요기관으로는 농수식품부 산하기관인 '덴마크수의식품청', 수의식품청의 직속기관으로서 지방방역$\cdot$검사기관인 '수의식품청지청', 그리고 수의식품청의 산하기관인 '덴마크수의연구소'등이다. 이 글의 말미에는 덴마크 방문 중 보고 느꼈던 것 중 기억에 남는 몇 가지를 소개하고자 한다.

In this paper, typical types of digital format were defined and digital format selection guidelines of US's NISO(National Information Standards Organization) and LC(Library of Congress) and Denmark's The State and University Library and the Royal Library were introduced. Five sustainability factors and quality and functionality factors were raised through analysing the three sample guidelines. The sustainability factors include descriptive, independency, consistency, widely adopted, and quality. Thus, digital format selection strategies for a library were developed.

The study on the new measurement method of room acoustics is now in process in the ISO TC43/SC2/WG24 New standard(WD 18233) is dealing with the MLS, swept sinusoidal signal and impulse. This working group is composed of more than 20 specialists in 10 countries and the convener is professor J.H.Rindel in technical university of Denmark. The meeting of WG24 was held in the DIN, Berlin at 23rd. this september and the results was sent to the secretary of ISO TC43/SC2 for the circulation. Brief information of ISO/WD18233 and the result of this meeting is given here.

Livestock excretes are frequently used in organic farming to produce vegetables and crops. However, zoonotic parasite eggs can be contaminated into such products and people can be infected with parasites of animal origin. Sporadic zoonotic infections with Ascaris suum have been reported even in developed countries, such as North America, Denmark, and the United Kingdom. Ascaris eggs are resistant to most adverse environmental conditions, and pigs and humans become infected by ingestion of fecally excreted eggs through contaminated food, water, or soil. This article discusses the resistant nature of ascarid eggs against harsh environment, and conditions of kimchi to be safe from consuming viable A. suum eggs.

Scandinavia consists of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Iceland and Lapland, all linked by historical and geographical ties. In this respect, the objective of this research was to clarify the folk costume of the Scandinavia. Scandinavia many skilled handicrafts are practised, such as leatherwork, silverwork and embroidery. The most popular colours are yellow, blues, reds, greens and white. For women the costume consist of a blouse with a bodice, skirt and apron, over which is worn a jacket or shawl, accompanied by a headdress. Their accessories may be jewellery, belts, kerchiefs and separate pockets. For the men, the costume is a shirt, trousers or breeches, worn with a waistcoat and jacket, neck scarf, and topped with a hat or cap. And the Lapps, both men and women, wear woollen shirts beneath their blue-skirted tunics, and blue trousers. It is one of the most ancient of the costumes worn in western Europe, due to its total suitability to their way of life.
