재사용 가능한 100nm급 패턴의 퀄츠 마스터 제작 및 퀄츠 마스터를 사용한 사출성형실험 (Fabrication of Nanoscale Reusable Quartz Master for Nano Injection Molding Process)

  • In this paper, we present reusable quartz master fabricated by electron-beam lithography and dry etching process of quartz, and results of injection molding based on the reusable quartz master for the manufacturing of nano-scale information media. Since patterned structures of photoresist can be easily damaged by separation (demolding) process of nickel stamper and master, a master with photoresist cannot be reused in stamper fabrication process. In this work, we have made it possible of the repeated use of master by directly patterning on quart in nickel stamper fabrication process. We have designed and fabricated four different specimens including 100nm, 140nm 200nm and 400nm pit patterns. In addition, both intaglio and embossed carving patterns are fabricated for each specimen. In the preliminary test of injection molding, we have fabricated polycarbonate patterns with varying mold temperature. We have experimentally verified the fabrication process of the reusable quart master and possibility of quartz master as direct stamper.

  • Permanent-Form is one of system forms for reducing human labor, work costs, oscillation, noise, construction wastes and so on. Permanent-Form is made from precast method in facilities. and carried in construction site to assemble with no demolding. The biggest expense to produce Permanent-Form is about manufacturing mold. To satisfy various size of building member, the same number of manufacturing mold is needed. In this paper, studied about manufacturing mold module for acquiring economic merit and construction member safety. Permanent-Form is member stress and structural analyzed if temporary equipment were used. The result of this study is below. (1) Column sizes of Permanent-Form are 47 kinds of prototype that based on Modular coordination's basic module. 4 pieces or 6 pieces are composed basically. (2) For beam size modular coordination, standard height and width of beam are 150mm and 100mm. It brings 24 kinds of prototype. 4 pieces or 5 pieces are composed basically. (3) Structural analysis value of modular member is like this Column member shows 9.4 to 85kgf/$cm^{2}$ stress distribution and beam member shows 6.3 to 95kgf/$cm^{2}$ stress distribution. 비탈형 영구거푸집의 현장 적용을 위한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental study on field application of Permanent form)

  • Permanent-Form is one of system forms for reducing human labor, work costs, oscillation, noise, construction wastes and so on. Permanent-Form is made from precast method in facilities, and carried in construction site to assemble with no demolding. The biggest expense to produce permanent-Form is about manufacturing mold. This papers about structural efficiency evaluation, construction efficiency test. The result of this study is below. (1) In the compressive strength test of column. Fly ash specimen and polymer specimen's strength developed as each 8%, 14% to comparison with standard specimen. The reason of this result from form section area increase and form's reinforcing bar (2) The Degree of column crack in permanent form is lower than another one's The glass fiber's fiber reinforcement effect brings like this. (3) In the flexural load test of beam, the early crack load and maximum load of permanent form use specimen showed 20% higher than standard specimen's. (4) In field application experiment, an constructional error is satisfied with the allowable margin of error, $\pm$5mm (5) When the concrete is placed into the form inside, The transformation degree of permanent form is lower than plywood form's. (6) The concrete packing ability of permanent form is satisfactory. (7) The bonding strength of permanent form shows enough strength - 6kgf/$\textrm{cm}^2$.

GMT-Sheet 성형품의 표면요철에 미치는 성형조건의 영향 (Effects of Molding Condition on Surface Unevenness of GMT-Sheet Moldings)

  • 성형조건에 따른 GMT-Sheet를 관찰하여, 성형품 표면의 불량원인을 조사했다. 현미경 관찰 결과, GMT-Sheet 성형품의 표면에서 구정, 섬유돌출, 크랙, 섬유노출, 마이크로 웰드라인, 핀홀, 여파굴곡곡선 등의 결함을 발견했다. 이 결함들은 요철의 발생원인이고, 표면 광택에 영향을 주는 현상이다. 그리고 표면거칠기에 영향을 주는 요철의 가장 주요한 발생원인은 보압 냉각 과정에서 발생하는 모재의 수축이었다. 성형 시의 보압하중이 높을수록 GMT-Sheet 성형품 표면은 좋아졌다. 또한 서냉실험에서는 탈형온도가 낮을수록 성형품의 표면이 좋아졌다.

피혁가공용 수용성 아크릴-폴리우레탄 Hybrid Resin의 합성 및 기계적 특성에 관한 연구 (Study on Mechanical Properties of Waterborne Polyurethane-Acrylic Hybrid Resin for Leather Coationgs)

  • In this study, we experimented that how to synthesis waterborne urethane-acrylic hybrid resin for leather coatings. First of all, We had analyzed data by FT-IR, SEM and TGA for the machanical properties. By TGA analysis polymers showed heat distortion temperature. and by FT-IR measurement we confirmed that synthesis of urethane and acrylic. In the experiment, solvent resistance, polyurethane and acrylic grades 4-5 showed both a high. Tensile strength measured in the waterborne polyurethane > Acrylic emulsion showed strength in the order. Films were obtained by coating the water born resin on leveled surfaces and allowing them to dry at room temperature for 72hrs. After demolding, the films were kept in a desiccator to avoid moisture contant at $25^{\circ}C$ for 45hrs before the measurements. In this result, the mechanical propersies of waterborne polyurethane-acrylic hybrid resin showed that how effect to resin in leather coating between polyurethane content and acrylic content. Therefore, acrylic emulsion had most high solvent resistance glade and waterborne polyurethane had good result in abrasion test and tensile strength.

  • RTP(Rapid Thermal Pressing) is to fabricate desired pattern on polymer substrate by pressing patterned mold against the substrate heated around glass transition temperature. For a successful RTP process, the whole process including heating, molding, cooling and demolding should be conducted 'rapidly' as possible. As the RTP process is effective in replicating patterns on flat large surface without causing shape distortion after cooling, it is being widely used for fabricating various micro/bio application components, especially with channel-type microstructures on surface. This investigation finally aims to develop a RTP process machine for mass-producing micro/bio application components. As a first step for that purpose, we intended to examine the technological difficulties for realizing mass production by RTP process. Therefore, in the current paper, 4 kinds of RTP machines were examined and then the RTP process was conducted experimentally for PMMA film by using one of the machines, HEX 03. The micro-patterned molds used for RTP experiment was fabricated from silicon wafer by semi-conduct process. The replicated micro patterns on PMMA films were examined using SEM and the causes of defect observed in the replicated patterns were discussed.

Analysis of Characteristics of Slurry and Thermal Insulation Materials Using Hauyne Cement

  • This study focused on manufacturing an inorganic insulation material set with various amounts of calcium-sulfoaluminate (CSA) (hauyne) content for enhancing both workability (demolding, handling) and the high thermal insulating property. To carry out the experiment, the amounts of CSA utilized were 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20%, with anhydrous gypsum added in equal proportion to produce a stable formation. As the content of CSA increased, a sinking phenomenon occurred because of the hydration reaction from the slurry, so it was difficult to utilize a retarder normally used in the cement manufacturing process. However, an RCOOM surfactant was able to solve the local clumping problem from cement and CSA and obtain a rapid retarding effect, so it was included in this process at 0.3%. Furthermore, the cement fineness was not 7000 ㎠/g but rather 3300 ~ 4000 ㎠/g to prevent a rapid temperature increase in the slurry. The specific gravity of the sample manufactured with 20% CSA was approximately 0.11 g/㎤, and its thermal conductivity was 0.041 W/m·K, providing an excellent insulating property.

진공포수양생을 적용한 초고강도 페이스트의 압축강도 발현에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Compressive Strength of Ultra High Strength Concrete with Vacuum Water Absorbing Curing)

  • In this study, the characteristics of compressive strength of ultra high strength concrete supplied with moisture from outside by vacuum water absorbing curing method were investigated. Specimens were prepared by replacing the binder(Silifa fume and GGBS) by 25 wt% with respect to the weight of cement at W/B 0.16. Each specimen was subjected to water Vacuum absorbing curing time 0 min, 30 min, 60 min, 90 min and 120 minutes immediately after the demolding. Curing was performed at $20^{\circ}C$ Air-dry curing, $90^{\circ}C$ steam curing, $90^{\circ}C$ steam curing and $180^{\circ}C$ autoclave curing. Experimental results showed that water absorbing degree increased with increasing water absorbing curing time, and BS25 sample had higher water absorbing degree than SF25 sample at same time. Compressive strength tended to increase up to about 40% in water absorbing degree, but compressive strength decreased again in water absorbing more than 40%.

The property of inorganic insulation material depending on CSA contents and atmospheric steam curing condition

  • In this study, we have made a cement based inorganic insulation material and added CSA (Hauyne Clinker) to reduce the demolding time and enhance the handling workability. CSA contents were varied by 0%, 1%, 3%, 5% and the atmospheric steam curing was tried for enhancing the compressive strength. As the CSA contents are increased to 5%, a rapid reaction of hydration caused the sinking of the slurry. So, the setting-retarder was added to control the reaction of hydration. By this, the sinking of the slurry was controlled but the height of the green body after expansions was a little bit lowered. In the CSA-added slurry, it was possible to demold within 24 hours and in case of CSA 5%-added, the sufficient workability was secured. Atmospheric steam curing (temperatures $-40{\sim}80^{\circ}C$, for 6~10 hrs.) was attempted to improve the compressive strength and found that an excellent strength of 0.25 MPa was achieved at $80^{\circ}C$ for 8 hrs. Specific gravity was about $0.12{\sim}0.13g/cm^3$ and heat conductivity was about 0.045 W/mK in all specimens. This strategy significantly improves the compressive strength of CSA 5%-added specimen up to 25% compared to without CSA added specimen.

  • This study reports on a uniform resin coating method by using a doctor blade type dispenser. For high productivity, continuous imprint-lithography has been studied, and developed fabrication systems are used in several applications such as anti-reflection films, dry adhesives, and water collecting surfaces. In the continuous fabrication field, researchers have typically focused on patterning and demolding procedures. During the roll-to-roll fabrication process, however, the uniform resin coating process is also important in order to obtain a high quality product, which can be evaluated by uniform thickness, precise geometric expressions, and a thin residual layer. To achieve these, a doctor blade type dispenser was designed and fabricated. As a result, thickness of coated resin was well controlled by modulating the flow rate of the resin and blading gap. In addition, a very thin layer coating process (${\sim}10{\mu}m$) was achieved by softly contacting the blade on the substrate.
