  • The present work concerns rapid tooling technology based on three-dimensional CAD/CAM. Two types of tooling processes have been introduced : the quick delivery molding(QDM) process and the rapid tooling(RT) process using a rapid prototyping system. Both processes are based on three-dimensional CAD/CAM technology and realize a paperless manufacturing system with a high efficiency. The proposed approach has been applied to the product development for various electrical parts, and the final delivery has been reduced as compared with the traditional approach.

  • Greenhouse gas emissions and excessive energy consumption have been an on-going world issue nowadays. We can find that the majority portion is caused by high-rise office buildings. In order to resolve these problems, it is extremely important to implement various active or passive strategies in a building design. To successfully meet these design goals and energy reduction approaches, a project building must utilize an efficient design process from the early start. One of the most effective project delivery process called Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) will be implemented in a case study project building (KEPCO) during design phase and show how important it is to plan a project's green environmental performance goal together through an early collaboration from all key project participants, which helps to construct an successful green building design without any critical construction pitfalls.

  • Project delivery systems have evolved over the years. Continuous changes in technology and the increasing sophistication in buildings required specialization of design and construction services. IPD as a delivery method has been used in the USA and other countries. With the development of BIM, lots of construction companies have been realizing this method since BIM came out in China. However IPD are not considered with BIM, IPD will be an important role in management system of construction. This study introduced the definition of IPD and based on the flow process of IPD, compared the process in china and other countries. Through the real project and the condition in China this paper analyzed the feasibility of IPD in China.

  • RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification)가 국방, 물류/유통, 도서 관리 등의 분야에서 바코드를 대체하는 대안으로 각광을 받고 있으나, 적용 범위가 제품 생산이나 판매 유통 관리 등의 분야로 제한되어 있는 것이 사실이다. 본 논문에서는RFID 기술을 공정관리에 적용해 본 후, 그 효과를 분석하였다. 또한 유통단계뿐 아니라 제품의 이력관리 및 품질관리에 RFID의 적용 가능성을 타진하기 위해, 제조 및 포장공정에 활용하는 방안을 제안하였다. RFID 적용 효과를 검증하기 위해 실제 제조업체를 대상으로 현재 바코드를 부착하는 공정을 RFID로 변경하였을 때 공정 개선 효과를 산출하였으며, 연구 결과 RFID 도입에 소모되는 초기 투자 비용을 상쇄할 수 있는 비용절감 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이로써 높은 초기 비용으로 인해 바코드에서 RFID로의 교체를 망설이는 제조업체들의 의사결정에 기여할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

한국 우편 전달의 정착 양상 고찰 (A Study on the Delivery Pattern of Korean letters during 1900-1945)

  • 본고는 우정총국의 설치(1884년) 이후 근대 우편 제도가 정착하는 과정을 살피기 위한 것이다. 이를 위하여 우편 사업 초기(1900년-1945년) 편지의 전달 양상을 분석하였다. 2장에서는 '편지의 전달 방식의 변화 양상'을, 3장에서는 '표현의 변화 양상'을, 4장에서는 '우편의 명암'을 주제로 검토하였다. 편지의 전달 방식의 변화 양상 검토에서 민간인에 의한 인편에서 집배원에 의한 우편으로의 변화는 [인편 중심] > [인편 우편 공존기] > [우편 중심기]의 3단계로 나눌 수 있었다. 특히 2단계 시기에서 동일한 송 수신자가 상황에 따라 인편과 우편을 혼용하고 있는 점이 흥미로웠다. 그리고 급보용(急報用) 전보(電報)와 상보용(詳報用) 우편(郵便)의 기능상 차이를 편지의 내용 검토에서 확인할 수 있었다. 표현의 변화 양상 검토에서 '안부인사, 결말인사, 수신표현' 등에서 상투적 표현의 변화를 확인하였다. 또한 '우편'이 기본 용어로 자리 잡지 못하고 다양한 용어로 대체되어 쓰이는 현상을 확인하였으며 오히려 '우(郵)'가 독립적이고 생산적으로 쓰이고 있음을 확인하였다. 우편의 명암 검토에서 우편 전달은 '경제성, 신속성, 장거리 전달'이란 장점에도 불구하고 '배달 사고의 불만, 비밀유지의 불안' 등의 단점이 있었다. 우편 전달의 단점은 인편 전달로 보완할 수 있었기 때문에 우편과 인편은 상당기간 공존할 수 있었다.

공공발주자 의사결정에 미치는 가치공학(VE)의 영향력 분석 - 프로젝트 생애주기를 중심으로 - (The Influence Analysis of Value Engineering for the Public Empoyer's Decision Marking - Focused on the Project Life Cycle -)

  • 공공프로젝트 발주자들에게 VE의 중요성이 점증되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 VE 공공발주체계의 과학화, 시스템화를 통하여 공공발주자의 의사결정을 객관화시키고 발주체계 관련자들의 상호신뢰 회복을 위한 의사결정 지원체계의 구축을 위하여, 공공발주자에게 미치는 VE 프로젝트 발주체계의 영향력 분석에 대한 DB를 구축하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이에 국내의 VE 수행현황 분석을 통하여 수행체계의 문제점을 고찰하고, 도출된 문제점의 개선을 위하여 건설VE 수행사례를 통한 프로젝트 발주 시 고려하여야 할 VE 영향요소를 추출하여 설문결과에 대한 회귀분석 및 요인분석을 통하여 전체의 60%이상의 영향력을 가지는 15개의 영향요소를 도출한다. 도출된 영향요소에 대한 AHP분석을 통하여 프로젝트 생애주기 동안의 각 단계에 미치는 영향력을 분석하여 제시하였다.

Characteristics of Motorcycle Collisions by Work Experience of Delivery Postmen

  • Objective:This study is on the characteristics of motorcycle accidents occurring in the mail delivery process by skill level. Background: The tendency of delivery postmen's driving in a hurry may become the cause of accidents since there is a constraint that delivery should be completed within a limited time. Method: This study analyzed the traffic accident data of 259 delivery postmen, who had been approved as occupation-related industrial accident victims from 2009 to 2012, by their work experience in view of season, day of the week of an accident occurrence, accident occurrence time, accident cause, collision type, and driving situation. Results: Accident characteristics of delivery postmen show that the ratio of accidents occurring to those who had less than 10 years of work experience was high. There were many motorcycle collisions in winter and summer by season and an unexpected object, along with road condition, took up 70.7% of the accident sources. There were no differences in accident occurrence time, the day of the week, season, accident source, and collision type between the group of delivery postmen with less than 10 years of work experience and those with 10 years or more of work experience. However, there was a difference in distribution of driving condition. Conclusion and Applications: The results of this study can be used to present the policies or guidelines for the accident prevention of delivery postmen since the results show the characteristics of the injured and accident occurrence characteristics in relation with the delivery postmen's motorcycle collisions.

기업택배 기업의 서비스 프로세스 개선 방안 - Y사의 서비스청사진 분석을 중심으로 (Service Blueprinting Analysis(SBA) on B2B Courier Services - Focus on Company Y)

  • Purpose: This research aims to analyze the service process of corporate courier services in order to offer service providers possible directions for adaptation of new technologies and assurance of better quality services. Methods: Through the analysis on the parcel service process of company Y by applying service blueprinting method, the overall process and failure service points of corporate courier services can be recognized and investigated. Next, the several newer technologies, augmented reality glasses, exoskeleton, and drone are applied to the service process of company Y as they are suggested by the literature review and referenced to DHL's report on the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Then, service options to overcome the service failure points to improve the service process can be produced. Results: The parcel service process of the company Y is utilized as a hub-and-spoke structure by having distribution and delivery centers which separates customers into two types, ones using the total services and the others only using the delivery service. In addition, the main cause of the service failures is determined that it is due to the limited working hours of delivery centers compared to the workload. Conclusion: This research contributes in better understanding of corporate courier services and providing information for benchmarking. An empirical research on the costs and the efficiencies of applying the new technologies is suggested for the further improvement in the processes of corporate courier services.

저속 2행정 디젤 기관의 소기 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the scavenging characteristics in slow-speed two-stroke diesel engines)

  • The scavenging characteristics have a great influence on the performance of a diesel engine, especially slow-speed two-stroke diesel engines which are usually used as a marine propulsion power plant, and they are greatly affected by the conditions in the cylinder, intake and exhaust manifolds, and the opening and closing timing of scavenging ports or exhaust valves during the gas exchange process. Besides, there are many other factors to affect the scavenging characteristics and these factors interact each other very complicatedly. Therefore the simulation program of the gas exchange process is very useful to improve and predict the scavenging characteristics, due to the high costs associated with redesign and testing. In this paper it was attenpted to investigate the effect of the variation of the pressure ratio of intake to exhaust manifolds, and the variation of the opening and closing timing of a exhaust valve by using a computational program for a three-zone scavenging model which was developed by authors. The computed results showed that the scavenging efficiency and delivery ratio increased considerably, but the trapping efficiency decreased with increasing of the pressure ratio of intake to exhaust manifolds. The scavenging efficiency, trapping efficiency, and th conditions of the cylinder gases were affected by the opening timing of the exhaust valve, but the delivery ratio by the closing timing.

토모테라피에서 통계적공정관리를 이용한 EBT 필름 기반의 선량품질보증의 치료계획 가이드라인 (Treatment Planning Guideline of EBT Film-based Delivery Quality Assurance Using Statistical Process Control in Helical Tomotherapy)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the results from statistical process control (SPC) to recommend upper and lower control limits for planning parameters based on delivery quality assurance (DQA) results and establish our institutional guidelines regarding planning parameters for helical tomotherapy (HT). A total of 53 brain, 41 head and neck (H & N), and 51 pelvis cases who had passing or failing DQA measurements were selected. The absolute point dose difference (DD) and the global gamma passing rate (GPR) for all patients were analyzed. Control charts were used to evaluate upper and lower control limits (UCL and LCL) for all assessed treatment planning parameters. Treatment planning parameters were analyzed to provide its range for DQA pass cases. We confirmed that the probability of DQA failure was higher when the proportion of leaf open time (LOT) below 100 ms was greater than 30%. LOT and gantry period (GP) were significant predictor for DQA failure using the SPC method. We investigated the availability of the SPC statistic method to establish the local planning guideline based on DQA results for HT system. The guideline of each planning parameter in HT may assist in the prediction of DQA failure using the SPC statistic method in the future.
