한국 섬유기업의 스마트섬유 개발 동향 - 대구경북지역 업체를 대상으로 - (Examination of Development State of Smart Fiber in Korean Textile Industry - Focused on Companies in Daegu/North Gyeongsang Province -)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the development trend of smart fiber by textile companies in Daegu/North Gyeongsang Province. This examination includes the development fields of smart fiber, investment size, information sources and the use degree of those, research-related infrastructure, relationship between companies' characteristics and their interests in smart fiber. Research data were collected by a survey. The definition and classification(4 areas and 12 development products) of smart fiber followed ones of Smart Fiber Technology Roadmap by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy. Data were analyzed using SPSS 11.0 program for frequency, means, t-test, and $X^2$-test. Among respondents, the numbers of dying and finish companies and export traders were the highest. It revealed that 19.6% of companies were developing smart fibers. Within 12 development products, vapor permeable/waterproof fiber showed to be most being developed, while medical fiber for human has not been developed and wasn't made an investment plan for developing. It was discovered that the biggest problem of smart fiber development was the lack of experts and the best outcome of smart fiber development was preoccupation of future market. It showed that companies got information from textile fairs but didn't often use information sources. The companies appeared to have a weak intention about research of smart fiber. The more important a company considered functionality of textile products and the more innovative and stabler the company was, the higher interest in smart fiber companies had. It was concluded that textile companies in Daegu/North Gyeongsang Province were aware of the importance of smart fiber development but they were not strongly interested in it and not enthusiastic in taking action on it.

Complex Power: An Analytical Approach to Measuring the Degree of Urbanity of Urban Building Complexes

  • The importance of designing urban building complexes so that they obtain 'urban' power, rather than become isolated from the surrounding urban context, has been well recognized by both researchers and practitioners. Nevertheless, most current discussions are made from architects' personal experiences and intuition, and lack a quantitative understanding, to which obstacles include an in-depth exploration of the 'urban' power between building complexes and the urban environment. This paper attempts to measure this feature of 'urban', i.e., 'urbanity,' through a new analytical approach derived from the opendata environment. Three measurements that can be easily collected though the Google Maps API and Open Street Map are applied herein to evaluate high or low values of urbanity. Specifically, these are 'metric depth', i.e., the scale of extended public space, 'development density', i.e., density and distribution of point of interests (POIs), and 'type diversity', i.e., diversity of different commercial types. Six cases located in Japan, China and Hong Kong respectively are ranked based on this analytical approach and compared with each other. It shows that Japanese cases, i.e., Osaka Station City and Namba Parks, Osaka, obtained clearly higher values than cases in Shanghai and Hong Kong. On one hand, the insight generated from measuring and explaining 'urban' power would help to assist better implementation of this feature in the design of urban building complexes. On the other hand, this analytical approach can be easily extended to achieve a large-scale measurement and comparison among different urban building complexes, which is also helpful for design practitioners.

패키지 관광 상품에 포함된 관광목적지들 간의 사회 네트워크 분석 (A Social Network Analysis of Tourism Destinations in Package Tourism Products)

  • 본 연구는 사회네트워크 분석을 활용해 패키지 관광 상품 안에 포함된 관광 목적지들의 구성 패턴과 POI(point of interests)를 도출하고 관광 패키지 상품으로 구성된 관광 목적지 별 특징을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해, 여행사에서 판매하는 패키지 관광 상품을 조사한 후, Pajek, Cytoscape, UCINET을 활용하여 밀도, 집중도, 중심성, 관심지점 설정, 컴퍼넌트 등의 분석을 하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 관광목적지 네트워크는 관광 목적지들 간의 연결이 고르게 이루어 진 것을 알 수 있었다. 둘째, 중심성 값을 통해 연결정도 중심성이 높으면, 매개 중심성 또한 높음을 발견하였다. 셋째, 관심지점 설정 결과, 관광 목적지 안의 관심지점은 널리 퍼져있는 것이 아닌 가까운 거리에 모여 있는 것을 발견하였다. 끝으로, 하위 네트워크 분석 결과, 관광 목적지 네트워크는 하위 집단간 파편화가 일어난 것으로 분석되었다.

사회복지학에 대한 한국인의 인식에 관한 연구 (An Exploration on Public Perception of Social Welfare as a Discipline in Korea)

  • 한국인의 사회복지학에 대한 인식은 어떠한가? 본 연구는 총 3,319명의 설문 참여자가 제공한 응답자료에 기초해서, 심리학, 문헌정보학, 경제학, 사회학, 정치외교학, 신문방송학과 같은 사회과학분야 학문들 그리고 생물학, 의학, 물리학과 같은 자연과학분야 학문들과의 비교 차원에서 한국인의 사회복지학에 대한 인식을 비교 분석하였다. 각 학문에 대한 개인적 흥미도, 사회적 공헌도, 유망도, 학문적 중요도, 전문성, 개인적 지식정도 측면에서의 인식을 8-점 Likert 척도로 평정, 비교하였다. 또한 사회복지학에 초점을 두고 성별 요인과 고등학생, 대학생과 대학원생, 일반 시민과 같은 지위 요인에 따라서 사회복지학에 대한 인식이 어떻게 다른지를 분석해 보았다. 아울러 대학생 및 대학원생만을 대상으로 현재 전공하고 있는 학문적 배경 요인에 따라서 사회복지학에 대한 인식이 어떻게 다른지를 분석해 보았다. 연구결과를 보면, 사회복지학에 대해서 공헌도, 유망도, 중요도, 개인 지식은 상대적으로 더 높게 인식하는 것으로 나타났고, 개인적인 흥미도와 전문성은 상대적으로 더 낮게 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 사회복지학에 대한 흥미도, 공헌도, 유망도, 중요도, 전문성, 개인지식의 벡터(vector)는 나이를 통제했을 때 성별 요인과 지위 요인에 의해서 차이를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 대학생 및 대학원생의 경우, 학문적 배경 요인에 따라서 사회복지학에 대한 인식이 다른 것으로 나타났다. 객관적으로 비춰지는 학문의 모습과 관련된 이러한 결과는 한국 사회복지학이 오랜 기간 고민해 온 학문의 전문성 심화 과제 등을 정확하게 반영하고 있다. 본 논문은 한국 사회복지학의 발전과 관련해서 이러한 결과가 시사하는 바를 논의한다.

사회복지학의 정체성 : 독일의 사회정책연구를 사례로 (Identifying Features of Social Welfare Studies : With the Case of German Research Trends)

  • 이 연구는 두 가지의 연구관심을 갖는다. 첫째는 한국의 사회복지학 정체성 정립과 관련된 것으로 독립 학문으로 분화한 현실에 바탕을 둔 지금까지의 논의와 달리, 사회 정책이 독립 학문화되지 않은 독일의 연구경향을 검토하여 사회복지학의 정체성에 대한 논의에 새로운 시각을 도입하고자 하는 것이다. 독일에서 사회정책이 독립 학문으로 성립되지 못한 이유는 사회과학의 가치문제, 대상의 모호성, 사회과학내 위상의 문제 등 때문이다. 두번째 연구 관심은 그렇다면 법학, 경제학, 사회학, 정치학, 역사학, 교육학 등 개별 학문분야에서 사회정책이 연구되는 독일에서는 어떤 연구가 이루어지는가와 그 공통점은 무엇인가를 살펴보는 것이다. 이 연구를 통해 가질 수 있는 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 독일에서 개별 학문분야의 사회정책적 연구들은 개별 학문의 방법론을 사용하지만 '인간 생활상황의 개선'이란 연구관심에 의해 주도된다는 공통점을 가지고 있다. 둘째, 사회과학의 가치문제는 아직도 해결되지 않은 쟁점으로 남아 있다. 그러나 '인간 생활상황의 개선'에 관한 연구가 주관적 가치문제를 다루는 것은 아니라는 것을 독일의 사회정책연구에서 확인할 수 있다. 또한 실천성의 문제와 가치문제가 동일한 문제가 아님을 확인할 수 있다. 셋째, 대상분야의 모호함도 현 시대 모든 사회과학에서 나타나고 있는 현상으로 사회복지학에만 나타나는 특수한 현상은 아니다. 넷째, 사회복지학과 다른 사회과학과의 관계설정에 관한 연구가 '인간 생활상황의 개선'에 초점을 맞춘 연구이고, 이 관점에서의 이론개발에 기여할 수 있는 연구라면 사회복지학적 연구로 인정할 필요가 있다는 점이다. 이것은 사회복지학 자체가 추구해야 할 이론이 중범위 이론과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 의미한다.

  • 해양은 지구상에서 제일 큰 물의 지리적 단위이다. 해양에 관한 국제법은 <유엔 해양법협약>으로 이는 지구상에서 유일한 <지구 헌법>이다. 동 협약에 의하여 세계 1/3의 해양이 연안국에 속하게 되었다. 다시 말해 해양의 이용권과 관리권을 연안국 중심으로 관할권을 주어서 연안국의 관할범위가 넓어지게 된 것이다. 이에 따라 세계 각국의 권력범위는 새로운 변화를 가져오게 되었다. 즉, 해양국토도 육지국토와 마찬가지로 한 국가의 중요한 물질적 조건이 된 것이다. 따라서 현재는 해양에 대한 전력이 그 어느 때 보다도 중요하게 되었다. 이제 해양은 국제 경제와 국제정치 및 군사투쟁의 중요한 무대로서 한 국가의 권익, 자원개발 및 이용에 관한 분쟁이 많이 나타나게 되었다. 이러한 분쟁을 해결하려면 강대한 종합적 국력과 함께 해양력이 필요한 것으로 분석되었고, 해양력에서 가장 큰 비중을 차지하는 것은 해양경찰력으로 나타났다.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of the fashion shop display on the clothing purchase made by the sample of 369 adult women living in Seoul area. In this study, the interest and the effect of the display are investigated through such factors of demographic variables as each individual's age, educational career, vocation, average family income a month, and marriage status. And the relationship is also examined between the person's interest paid on the display and the clothing attitude related variables of fashion follow tendency, individuality, and the way of practical economy. An additional examinations are performed in the first reactive factor to be considered at the time of the clothing purchase, and the interrelation between the discontent after purchase and the effect of display before purchase. The major findings of this research, thus, can be summarized as following: 1. Demographic variables of women reflect differences in their interests toward display and accordingly the variety of the display effect as well. Less interest and effect are caused by the effort of display for the women in their senior age. However, a group of the character women and young college women pay relatively more attention to the display and give more effect to the purchase. The examination shows alsp that the unmarried and better-off and better-educated are more sensitive to the effect of the display. 2. The higher is the individuality and the fashion follow tendency, the stronger revealed the interest in the display, while the economic women have less interest in it. 3. The first factor considered at the time of purchase is not absolutely affected significantly by the degree of the display effect in real purchasing act. 4. The discontent after purchase is not related with how much the degree of display effects in the act of real purchase.

Altered Functional Disconnectivity in Internet Addicts with Resting-State Functional Magnetic Resonance Imaging

  • Objective: In this study, we used resting-state fMRI data to map differences in functional connectivity between a comprehensive set of 8 distinct cortical and subcortical brain regions in healthy controls and Internet addicts. We also investigated the relationship between resting state connectivity strength and the level of psychopathology (ex. score of internet addiction scale and score of Barratt impulsiveness scale). Background: There is a lot of evidence of relationship between Internet addiction and impaired inhibitory control. Clinical evidence suggests that Internet addicts have a high level of impulsivity as measured by behavioral task of response inhibition and a self report questionnaire. Method: 15 Internet addicts and 15 demographically similar non-addicts participated in the current resting-state fMRI experiment. For the connectivity analysis, regions of interests (ROIs) were defined based on the previous studies of addictions. Functional connectivity assessment for each subject was obtained by correlating time-series across the ROIs, resulting in $8{\times}8$ matrixs for each subject. Within-group, functional connectivity patterns were observed by entering the z maps of the ROIs of each subject into second-level one sample t test. Two sample t test was also performed to examine between group differences. Results: Between group, the analysis revealed that the connectivity in between the orbito frontal cortex and inferior parietal cortex, between orbito frontal cortex and putamen, between the orbito frontal cortex and anterior cingulate cortex, between the insula and anterior cingulate cortex, and between amydgala and insula was significantly stronger in control group than in the Internet addicts, while the connectivity in between the orbito frontal cortex and insula showed stronger negative correlation in the Internet addicts relative to control group (p < 0.001, uncorrected). No significant relationship between functional connectivity strength and current degree of Internet addiction and degree of impulsitivy was seen. Conclusion: This study found that Internet addicts had declined connectivity strength in the orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) and other regions (e.g., ACC, IPC, and insula) during resting-state. It may reflect deficits in the OFC function to process information from different area in the corticostriatal reward network. Application: The results might help to develop theoretical modeling of Internet addiction for Internet addiction discrimination.

과학 수업에서 초등 교사가 사용하는 비유 유형에 대한 사례 연구 (A Case Study on the Pattern of Teachers' Analogies in Elementary Science Glasses)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe five teachers' science classes and analyze the patterns of their analogies. To analyze the data, investigator triangulation was used, and the results were as follows: First, among the patterns of analogy used, expressions of similes and metaphors were utilized by all the teachers; teachers with over ten years' experience used adult's daily phrases, and teachers with under ten years' experience tended to use anthropomorphism. Regarding pictorial analogies, these manifested themselves in the sixth period, while teachers with over ten years' experience drew a simple picture about circulation of water, teachers with under one year's experience made additional materials for their analogy and they put an emphasis on the concept of the circulation itself. Teachers tended to use analogs according to their interests; teachers who majored in science education used pictorial analogies for further study. Second, the patterns emerging from the correspondence of the analogy manifested themselves in all the teachers equally, but they have no relation to the teacher's background. Third, routine analogy and artificial analogy appeared equally in consideration of degree of artificiality among the patterns of the analogies used. Regarding routine analogy, most teachers tended to look for analogs from things and experiences from themselves or their own backgrounds rather than those of the students. Regarding artificial analogies, teachers tended to purposely choose analogs to help students to understand; energetic teachers sometimes failed to choose appropriate analogs because they approached the topic with too much intensity. While a teacher who lacked experience and interest in science used many expressions of analogy, a teacher who felt some degree of constraint rarely used expressions of analogy. Fourth, most of the teachers used analogs familiar to their own experiences but students often found understanding these analogs difficult. Therefore, teachers need to make greater efforts to utilize analogs which are especially familiar to students when they attempt to explain science concepts.

충청지역 주민을 대상으로 한 전통음식 편의화에 대한 인식조사 (Perceptions of residents in the Chungcheong area on commercialization of traditional Korean foods as convenience foods)

  • This study was conducted to examine the perceptions of residents in the Chungcheong area on the commercialization of traditional Korean foods as convenience foods. Data was gathered using a questionnaire designed to evaluate the concerns, satisfaction, and Knowledge of traditional Korean food as well as the perceptions on commercialization of Korean traditional foods as convenience foods. In order to measure traditional food recognition and interests related to health, a 5-point Likert scale was employed and 374 subjects were surveyed. The results are summarized as follows : Most of the respondents expressed concerns for traditional Korean foods. In the over 50 age group, degree of interest (p<0.01), knowledge (p<0.01), and satisfaction (p<0.01) with regards to traditional foods was higher than in other age groups. The professional group had higher degrees of interest, knowledge, and satisfaction about traditional foods than the general group. Based on monthly income, for respondents earning over 3,010,000 won/month, the knowledge rating for traditional foods was higher than in the under 3,000,000 won/month group. The professional group had a more positive view of the commercialization of traditional food as convenience food than the general group. Respondents deemed quality improvements and an increase in consumption as reasons for the commercialization of traditional foods. Those with a greater recognition of traditional foods also had a higher degree of interest for the foods. Efforts for the commercialization of traditional Korean foods will help with consumer menu choices menu development and systems management of Korean traditional foods.
