  • Recently, it is the global warming phenomenon because of the greenhouse gas exhaustion caused by and the environment problem is serious. And it is the situation where the problem of the exhaustion of resource because of the indiscriminate picking of the that is the raw material of the cement, limestone and natural aggregate are emphasized. In addition, thus the cement reduction amount of use and substitute material research is the urgent actual condition with the gas emission, which here it is generated in conducting compression molding in the building stone manufacturing process performance degradation phenomenon and fire resistance, and problem of the durability. Therefore, in this research, because of being the magnesia phosphate ceramics, the waste porcelain is applied and the anti-wearing character of the artificial stone according to it tries to be investigated.

  • Soiling is the accumulation of dirt on photovoltaic (PV) modules and can reduce the performance of the PV power plant depending on the site location. Nevertheless, the reason which can not be the great interest to researchers of PV reliability is the phenomenon of performance loss caused by external environmental factors, not the internal degradation of the PV module. In this paper, we provide the phenomenon, history, research overview and mitigation method in order to help understanding of the soiling.

  • This research is for the visualization of wooden cracking phenomena in the virtual world. Timber supplies has been traditionally used for buildings in the all over the world. Wood has a characteristic that is more prone to be influenced and distorted under the external environments compared with other materials like as stone and concrete. Many related researches say that moisture content change is a largest impact factor for the distortion and crack of timber supplies. This is the reason why we focus on the relationship between the moisture variations and the wood distortion, especially crack. In this research, it is mathematically explained that the diminutions of tensile strength caused by repeated contraction and expansion according to the moisture variations under the changes of weather. Finally, we suggest a way to visualize it for pine timbers.

  • When a substrate with a pixel-defining layer (bank) is coated, there arises capillary force due to surface tension and adhesive forces between a solvent and the bank layer. It brings in a degradation of film thickness and emission uniformities within pixels. With an attempt to suppress it, we have performed fluid flow simulations of capillary arise by varying the contact angle of bank and the bank structure. We have first demonstrated that the fluid flow model can reproduce the capillary phenomenon that was observed experimentally. It has been found that capillary arise can be suppressed using a hydrophobic material for the bank layer. Furthermore, it was suppressed by tilting the sidewalls outwardly (i.e., using a positive photoresistor). We can obtain very uniform films when the slope is $50^{\circ}$ with the contact angle of $40^{\circ}$.

  • This paper try to find root-cause of failure in a connector used in transmitting signals for throttle body control in automotives by analyzing possible failure causes and performing experiments to simulate the cable failure in field. The connector comprises fins, wires, and case moldings. The failure is due to degradation of initial clamping force required fixing fins and wires in the connector. Expansion and compression of the case molding material surrounding fins would cause the degradation. Investigations of strict initial claming force and control of thermal expansion property of the molding are required to prevent the failure.

  • In this paper, in order to measure the degree of degradation using the reflection coefficient of the probe, the measuring circuit is designed. we put pulse signal into the probe and measure the reflected signal in the circuit. As the condition of engine oil degradation, we can see that the reflected signal was increased and as the engine oil temperature increases, a phenomenon shows that the degradated dielectric constant is decreased. Finally, the theoretical values and measured values of the reflection coefficients of the probe are analyzed.

  • The most known continuum damage theories for brittle structures are suitable to model the degradation of the material due to the deformation process and the consequent initiation of a macro-crack. Nevertheless, they are not able to describe the propagation of the crack that leads, eventually, to the breakage of the structure into parts that undergo rigid body motion. This paper presents a theory, formulated from formal arguments of Continuum Mechanics, that may describe not only the degradation but also the fracture of elastic structures. The modeling of such a discontinuous phenomenon through a continuous theory is possible by taking a cohesion variable, related with the links between material points, as an additional degree of kinematical freedom. The possibilities of the proposed theory are discussed through examples.

  • The EVRC vocoder is a toll quality coder, but it shows significant degradation or the quality in weak RF environment. In this paper, the speech quality degradation phenomenon of the EVRC is analyzed, and two methods are proposed as the solution - the pitch prediction and the gradual increase. The preference tests for various Rf environment are performed for speech quality assessments and both the methods show better performance.

  • Electrical tree is studied widely by manufacture state of insulating material fare and blazing fire diagnosis system of use in phenomenon of part discharge that happen for main cause of dielectric breakdown of equipment for electric power. Use process that draw tree pattern here measuring above zero to study special quality of this electricity tree, real-time processing by image processing is proposed because reproduction of tree blazing fire process drops and pattern of tree is difficult correct quantification of tree growth by existent visual observation by involution. This research presents general process that need in image processing of tree blazing fire, and that remove various noises that happen in above zero by measuring electrical tree dividing background and complete view in measured above zero taking advantage of specially proposed complete view object abstraction techniques effectively and quantification of tree becomes easy naturally, can apply to dielectric breakdown estimate because can chase growth process of tree.

  • Satchari National Park is one of the most biodiverse forest in Bangladesh and home of many endangered flora and fauna. 206 tons of CO2 per hectare is sequestrated in this national park every year which helps to mitigate climate issues. As people living near the area are dependent on this forest, degradation has become a regular phenomenon destroying the forest biodiversity by altering its forest cover. So, it is important to map land cover quickly and accurately for the sustainable management of Satchari National Park. The main objective of this study was to obtain information on land cover change using remote sensing data. Combination of unsupervised NDVI classification and supervised classification using maximum likelihood is followed in this study to find out land cover map. The analysis showed that the land cover is gradually converting from one land use type to another. Dense forest becoming degraded forest or bare land. Although it was slowed down by the establishment of 'National Park' on the study site, forecasting shows that it is not enough to mitigate forest degradation. Legal steps and proper management strategies should be taken to mitigate causes of degradation such as illegal felling.
