In the present, since a five-year plan for economic development which was started in the early 60's has been successfully promoted for a quarter century, with consolidation in a department of social welfare in our country the participation. in economic society for women is more required than any other times. As a professional occupation for women is incereaing through a high-standard specialization, I think the upbringing for productive woman expert who has a strong motive of accomplishment as a developed person as well as a technical and skilful capacity which can be contributed to the growth of organization is very important. So in this study, I am evaluating the technical disposition of character of professional nurses working with hospital and also trying to supply the basic data being served to th extension of a skillful ability as a nurse, understanding the important factor related to it. The research method applied here is that we used 527 of formed questionnaires which were distributed to 7 University and General Hospitals, somewhat large in a scale, located in Seoul as an analytical material. It was performed between October 11, 1988 and October 18, 1988. An implement which was invented by Cho Moo-Sung is used after being amended and supplemented, which can measure the disposition of professional character. The formation of questionnaires of the disposition of character is 26 totally, 10 for Open-disposition, 11 for Active-disposition, 5 for wise-disposition, and it was measured. 'Ye', or 'No' through an one-half-standard and the environment of hospital organization is composed 12 questions from one point of 'Very Good' to 5 points of 'Very Bad.' Collected materials were analysed through an electronic calculation into the average value, the standard deflection, percentage, person correlative number, $X^2-test, m$ stepwise multiple regression. Summarizing the result from this research is as follows; 1. The average age of the subjective person of this investigation is 28.6 and the average career as a nurse is 6.0 years. 2. The Open-disposition that technical nurses showed is mostly half and half. 3. The Active-disposition of professional nurses was discovered affirmative largely and what they said in their questionnaires describes that they are very active answering $88.2\%$ for the disposition of self-control, $87.3\%$ for the people who think the training more seriously. 4. It was found out that the wise·disposition of technical nurse showed $90.7\%$ of 'Yes' about a new alternative of inquisitive question and we can see a progressive and profound aspect here. 5. As technical character of nurses, mutual relations between Active-disposition, Active-disposition, and wisedisposition were very profitably revealed as 0.42 in justice relations and also suggested that relations between Open-disposition, Active-disposition, and wise-disposition are 0.27 and 0.20 respectively. 6. What nurses recognize about the environment of hospital organization is reasonably acceptable while they feel very bad about rewards and punishments showing average 3.1 comparing to average 2.2 about timecontrol each other. Considering the prosperity of Active-disposition upon the result what I mentioned above, th possibility which is contributed to the productive improvement of hospital organization is very great and I think it can be more developed as a professional woman who has a strong motive of accomplishment, in advance.
Reshoring makes slab deflect and support its own weight. The construction loads on the slabs in lower levels decrease using the reshoring. Simplified analysis proposed by ACI 347.2R-05 showed that if the reshoring is applied, construction loads on slabs and shores, and quantities of forms and shores decreased by 40%, 23%, 40%, and 50%, respectively. Shores' loads were comparatively measured on site. The measured reshore load was half of the load before removing the shores and was also lower than the measured shore load by 35%. To verify the safety of the reshoring, deflections of beams and strains of beam longitudinal bars were also measured. The maximum deflection was only L/5000 and the maximum bar strain was only 3.6% of the yield strain. Consequently, reshoring neither cause problems on the safety nor serviceability. In addition, the beam load was expected from the measured shores' loads and it coincides well with the predicted value by the simplified analysis of ACI 347.2R-05.

Recently, a new $Y_2O_3$ coating deposited using the EB-PVD method has been developed for erosion resistant applications in fluorocarbon plasma environments. In this study, surface crack formation in the $Y_2O_3$ coating has been analyzed in terms of residual stress and elastic modulus. The coating, deposited on silicon substrate at temperatures higher than $600^{\circ}C$, showed itself to be sound, without surface cracks. When the residual stress of the coating was measured using the Stoney formula, it was found to be considerably lower than the value calculated using the elastic modulus and thermal expansion coefficient of bulk $Y_2O_3$. In addition, amorphous $SiO_2$ and crystalline $Al_2O_3$ coatings were similarly prepared and their residual stresses were compared to the calculated values. From nano-indentation measurement, the elastic modulus of the $Y_2O_3$ coating in the direction parallel to the coating surface was found to be lower than that in the normal direction. The lower modulus in the parallel direction was confirmed independently using the load-deflection curves of a micro-cantilever made of $Y_2O_3$ coating and from the average residual stress-temperature curve of the coated sample. The elastic modulus in these experiments was around 33 ~ 35 GPa, which is much lower than that of a sintered bulk sample. Thus, this low elastic modulus, which may come from the columnar feather-like structure of the coating, contributed to decreasing the average residual tensile stress. Finally, in terms of toughness and thermal cycling stability, the implications of the lowered elastic modulus are discussed.

In this paper, a method to calculate the ultimate compressive strength of welded one-sided stiffened plates simply supported along all edges is proposed. At first initial imperfections such as distortions and residual stresses due to welding are predicted by using simplified methods. Then, the collapse modes of the stiffened plate are assumed and collapse loads for each mode are calculated. Among these loads, the lowest value is selected as the ultimate strength of the plate. Collapse modes are assumed as follows ; (1) Overall buckling of the stiffened plate$\rightarrow$Overall collapse due to stiffener bending (2) Local buckling of the plate part$\rightarrow$Local collapse of the plate part$\rightarrow$Overall collapse due to stiffener yielding (3) Local buckling of the plate part$\rightarrow$Overall collapse due to stiffener berthing (4) Local buckling of the plate part$\rightarrow$Local collapse of the plate part$\rightarrow$Overall collapse due to stiffener tripping. The elastic large deflection analysis based on the Rayleigh-Ritz method is carried out, and plastic analysis assuming hinge lines is also carried out. Collapse load is defined as the cross point of the two analysis curves. This method enables the utimate strength to be calculated with small computing time and a good accuracy. Using the present method, characteristics of the stiffener including torsional rigidity, bending and tripping can also be clarified.

A large composite spar was manufactured using an automatic fiber placement (AFP) machine. To verify its structural performance, the weakest part of the structure, which is called 'corner radius', was tested under bending and examined by finite element analysis. Since the application of AFP machine to composite structure fabrication is still in early stage in Korea, this paper presents the summary of whole process for manufacturing composite spar using AFP machine from mandrel design and analysis to verification test. The deflection and stress by mandrel weight and AFP machine force, thermal deformation and natural frequency were all examined for mandrel design. The target structure was composite C-spar and cured in an autoclave. Test results were compared with nonlinear finite element analysis results to show that the structure has the strength close to the theoretical value. It was confirmed that the corner radius of the spar manufactured by AFP process showed deviation less than 20% compared with first ply failure strength. The results indicate that the AFP technology could be used for large scale composite structure production in the near future.

In the summers of 1997 and 1998 and in February of 2000 we made 570 measurements of the ambient geomagnetic field 120 cm above the pavement surface of State Route 130, south of Pahoa, the island of Hawaii using a three-component fluxgate magnetometer. We measured at every 15.2 m (50 feet) interval covering a distance of 6, 310 m (20, 704 ft) where both historic and pre-historic highly magnetic basalt flows underlie. We also collected 197 core samples from eight road cuts, 489 specimens of which were subject to AF demagnetizations at 5 - 10 mT level up to a maximum field of 60 mT. We observed significant inclination anomalies ranging from a minimum of $31^{\circ}$ to a maximum $40^{\circ}$ where a uniform inclination value of $36.7^{\circ}$ (International Geomagnetic Reference Field, IGRF) was expected. Since the mean of the observed inclinations is approximately $35^{\circ}$ we assume that the study area is slightly affected by the magnetic terrain effect to a systematically shallower inclinations for being located in the regionally sloping surface of the southern side of the island (Baag, et al., 1995). We observed inclination anomalies showing wider (spacial) wavelength (160 - 600 m) and higher amplitudes in the historic lava flows area than in the northern pre-historic flows. Our observations imply that preexisting inclination anomalies such as those that we observed would have been interpreted as paleosecular variation (PSV). These inclination anomalies can best be attributed to concealed underground highly magnetic dikes, channel type lava flows, on-and-off hydrothermal activities through fissure-like openings, etc. Both the within- and between-site dispersions of natural remanent magnetization (NRM) are largest (up to ${\pm}7^{\circ}$) above the flows of 1955, while the area of pre-historic flows in the northern part of the study area exhibit the smallest dispersion. Nevertheless, mean inclinations of each historic flow of 1955 and 1790 are almost identical to that of the corresponding present field, whereas mean of NRM (after AF demagnetization) inclinations for each of the four pre-historic lava flow units is twelve to thirteen degrees lower than the present field inclination. We observed three cases of very large inclination variations from within a single flow, the best fitting curves of which are linear, second and third order polynomials each from within a single flow, whereas no present field variations are observed. This phenomena can be attributed to the notion that local magnetic anomalies on the surface of an active volcano are not permanent, but are transient. Therefore we believe that local magnetic anomalies of an active volcano may be constantly modified due to on going subsurface injections and circulations of hot material and also due to wide spacial and temporal distribution of highly magnetic basaltic flows that will constantly modify the topography which will in turn modify the local ambient geomagnetic field (Baag, et al., 1995). Our observations bring into question the general reliability of PSV data inferred from volcanic rocks, because on-going various geologic and geophysical activities associated with active volcano would continuously deflect and modify the ambient geomagnetic field.
In this paper, it has been studied about the CRCO to maintain or rehabilitate the aged JCP. The CRCO and JCO was constructed at useless section of Seo-Hae-Ahn express highway in South Korea. The performance evaluation was conducted. Especially, it was focused on the roll of longitudinal reinforced steels inserted into the CRCO. On crack survey results from field construction section, the reflection cracks at joint of the existing pavement occurred in CRCO. However, due to the constraints of longitudinal reinforced steels, crack width was small. Total crack length and quantity in the CRCO more than that in the JCO. And crack spacing in the CRCO was narrower than it in the CRCP. Through the bonding strength test results, if the cold milling and cleaning as well as surface treatment is applied, there will be no debonding problem at interlayer in the early age. From analysis of the horizontal behavior at the joint, the longitudinal reinforced steels constrained crack width which became wider than initial state over time. Also, that steel in the CRCO reduced the horizontal movement due to temperature variation(4 times than that in the JCO). But, if interface is debonded, the roll decreased. Vertical VWG data showed that CRCO did not occur debonding problem at steel location, but there was some problem in JCO. It was confirmed by field coring. The tensile strain appeared in the CRCO, But the compressive strain occurred in the JCO in early age. Through the FWD test result, deflection in the CRCO was less than that in the JCO. And K value in the CRCO was greater than it in the JCO.

To study an effective use of woods, three-ply hybrid laminated woods instead of crosslaminated woods which are composed of spruce in the face and three kinds of wood-based boards (MDF, PB, OSB) in the core were manufactured, and the effect of constitution elements for the core laminae on bending strength performances was investigated. Bending modulus of elasticity (MOE) of hybrid laminated woods had the highest values for the hybrid laminated wood types arranging OSB laminae in the core, and had the lowest values for those arranging MDF laminae in the core. These values were higher than those of various cross-laminated woods. The estimated bending MOEs of the hybrid laminated woods which were composed of perpendicular-direction lamina of spruce in the faces were similar to their measured values, regardless of wood-based boards in the core. However, those of the hybrid laminated woods which were composed of parallel-direction lamina of spruce in the faces had much higher values than those of their measured values, and it was necessary to revise the measured values. Bending modulus of rupture (MOR) of the hybird laminated woods had the highest value for those arranging OSB laminae in the core, and had the lowest values for those arranging PB laminae in the core unlike the bending MOE. By hybrid laminating, the anisotropy of bending strength performances was markedly decreased, and the differences of strength performances among wood-based boards were also considerably decreased.
In order to support the load of the train with enough stiffness, a study on an effective method for the characterization of the stiffness of the compacted subgrade is required. In this study, the crosshole-type dynamic cone penetrometer (CDCP) is used for the stiffness characterization of the subgrade along the depth. For the application of the CDCP test, three points of compacted subgrades are selected as the study sites. For the study sites, CDCP test, in-situ density test, and light falling weight deflectometer (LFWD) test are conducted. As the results of CDCP tests, shear wave velocity profiles are obtained by using the travel times and the travel distances of the shear waves along the depth. In addition, maximum shear modulus ($G_{max}$) profiles are estimated by using the density of the subgrades and the shear wave velocity profiles. The averaged maximum shear moduli at each testing point are highly correlated with the dynamic deflection moduli ($E_{vd}$) determined by LFWD tests. Therefore, a reliable stiffness characterization of the subgrade can be conducted by using CDCP tests. In addition, because CDCP characterizes the stiffness of the subgrade along the depth rather than a representative value, CDCP test may be effectively used for the stiffness characterization of the subgrade.
The Eoraesan area, Chungju, which is located in the northwestern part of Ogcheon Metamorphic Zone, Korea, mainly consists of the Neoproterozoic Gyemyeongsan Formation and the Mesozoic igneous rocks which intruded it. The metaacidic rocks (MAR) of the Gyemyeongsan Formation show a maximum radioactive value, and the Early Jurassic biotite granite is regionally distributed in this area. In this paper is researched the microstructure related to the growth of rare-earth mineral of allanite in the MAR, and is considered the source and occurrence time of rare-earth element (REE) mineralization. The MAR is mainly composed of alkalic feldspar (mainly microcline), quartz, iron-oxidizing mineral, biotite, muscovite, plagioclase, hornblende, allanite, zircon, epidote, fluorite, apatite, garnet, (clino)zoisite etc. The radioactive elements contained in the allanite cause a dark brown hale in the surrounding biotite, and the allinte also occurs as aggregate along the regional foliation. The deflection of regional foliation and the strain shadows, which are common to the pre-tectonic porphyroblast grown before the formation of regional foliation, can't be observed around most allanites (aggregates). The grain size and orientation of ironoxidizing mineral included in the allanite aggregate are the same as those in the matrix. It is recognized the hydrothermal conversion of hornblende to biotite due to the intrusion of igneous rock, and the secondary biotite occurs and contacts with allanite, zircon, epidote etc. These microstructures indicate that the rare-earth mineral of allanite (aggregate) grew by the hydrothermal alteration due to the intrusion of igneous rock after the formation of regional foliation. It is considered that the REE mineralization is closely related to the intrusion of Early Jurassic biotite granite which is regionally distributed in this area.
