엘보우의 붕괴모멘트에 미치는 감육결함의 영향 (Effect of Wall Thinning Defect on the Collapse Moment of Elbow)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effect of local wall thinning on the collapse of elbow subjected to internal pressure and bending moment. Thus, the nonlinear 3D finite element analyses were performed to obtained collapse moment of elbow containing various wall thinning defects under two loading; modes (closing and opening modes) and defect locations (intrados and extrados). From the results of analyses, the influence of wall thinning defect on the global moment-rotation behavior of elbow was discussed, and the dependance of collapse moment of elbow on wall thinning depth, length, and circumferential angle was investigated under different loading mode and defect location.

  • Purpose: In advanced case of periodontitis, surgical treatment without bone contouring may result in residual pockets inaccessible to proper cleaning during post-treatment maintenance. This problem can be avoided or reduced by applying guided tissue regeneration. Materials and Methods: All of 3 patients had deep periodontal pocket depth and bleeding on probing, and radiograph revealed osseous defect, so we planned guided tissue regeneration using resorbable membrane with or without xenograft. Result: 6 months later, periodontal pocket depth and bleeding on probing was improved and gingiva was stable. Conclusion: Guided tissue regeneration using resorbable membrane with or without xenograft in osseous defect is predictable.

  • 능동적 열화상 기법은 넓은 면적을 동시에 검사할 수 있으며, 결함부와 건전부 사이의 위상차로부터 결함의 유무를 판단할 수 있다. 지금까지 다양한 재료와 시험편을 가지고 결함 검출 기법에 대한 발전이 이루어졌다. 본 논문에서는 위상잠금 열화상 기법을 적용하여 각각 다른 결함의 크기와 깊이의 인공결함을 갖는 SM45C 시험편을 가지고 제안된 기법을 검증하였으며, 결론으로서 결함의 크기, 깊이에 따른 위상 이미지와 진폭 이미지 검사 결과를 비교하여 결함 검출능을 평가할 수 있었다.

직관 배관의 국부 감육결함에 대한 건전성 평가 모델 (Integrity Evaluation Model for a Straight Pipe with Local Wall Thinning Defect)

  • The present study proposes the integrity evaluation model for a straight pipe with local wall thinning defect, which reflects the characteristics of training shape and loading condition in the Piping of nuclear power plant. For this purpose, a series of finite element analyses are performed under various defect geometries and loading conditions, and real pipe experiment data performed previously is employed. The model includes the effect of thinning length as well as thinning depth and width, and also it considers the combined loading effect between internal pressure and bending moment. The proposed model has been validated using the results of finite element analysis and pipe experiment data. The results indicate that the proposed model provides more reliable predictions of pipe failure than the current existing model, in terms of accuracy, consistency, and conservativeness of results.

  • This paper describes a characteristics of MFL according to the position of Hall sensor Magnetic Flux Leakage(MFL) Method is used to detect surface defect in ferromagnetic plate. A plate has a surface defect and magnetizing equipment are producted to perform Non-Destructive Testing(NDT) using MFL. The SM 45C carbon steel plate is adopted to this experiment. there is a artifical defect with a twice of thickness and a half of depth of plate. Magnetizing equipment is composed of yoke made by layer-built of silicon sheet steel, NdFeB magnetic and iron brushes. Detecting defect is performed by MFL NDT using Hall sensor. It is shown that magnetic flux detected by Hall sensor is affected according to the position of Hall sensor through MFL experiment and numerical analysis.

초음파와 신경망을 이용한 오스테나이트계 스테인리스강 304 용접부의 결함 검출 및 평가 (The Defect Detection and Evaluation of Austenitic Stainless Steel 304 Weld Zone using Ultrasonic Wave and Neuro)

  • This paper is concerned with defects detection and evaluation of heat affected zone (HAZ) in austenitic stainless steel type 304 by ultrasonic wave and neural network. In experiment, the reflected ultrasonic defect signals from artificial defects (side hole, vertical hole, notch) of HAZ appears as beam distance of prove-defect, distance of probe-surface, depth of defect-surface on CRT. For defect classification simulation, neural network system was organized using total results of ultrasonic experiment. The organized neural network system was learned with the accuracy of 99%. Also it could be classified with the accuracy of 80% in side hole, and 100% in vertical hole, 90% in notch about ultrasonic pattern recognition. Simulation results of neural network agree fairly well with results of ultrasonic experiment. Thus were think that the constructed system (ultrasonic wave - neural network) in this work is useful for defects dection and classification such as holes and notches in HAZ of austenitic stainless steel 304.

  • 금속은 산업 현장 및 일상 생활에서 다양하게 사용되고 있다. 금속은 기계, 자동차 부품, 전선, 로봇 등에 많이 사용된다. 금속은 가공 과정 및 사용자의 사용 환경과 같은 다양한 이유로 금속 표면에 작은 손상을 입게 된다. 본 논문에서는 금속의 결함 검사를 위한 위상 검출을 구현하였다. 금속의 전기전도도를 이용하여 결함의 깊이와 크기에 따라 위상이 변하는 회로를 구성하고, 변화된 위상으로 결함의 깊이와 크기를 추정할 수 있다.

트랜치 깊이가 STI-CMP 공정 결함에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Trench Depth on the STI-CMP Process Defects)

  • 최근 반도체 소자의 고속화 및 고집적화에 따라 배선 패턴이 미세화 되고 다층의 금속 배선 공정이 요구됨에 따라 단차를 줄이고 표면을 광역 평탄화 시킬 수 있는 STI-CMP 공정이 도입되었다. 그러나, STI-CMP 공정이 다소 복잡해짐에 따라 질화막 잔존물, 찢겨진 산화막 결함들과 같은 여러 가지 공정상의 문제점들이 심각하게 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이상과 같은 CMP 공정 결함들을 줄이고, STI-CMP 공정의 최적 조건을 확보하기 위해 트렌치 깊이와 STI-fill 산화막 두께가 리버스 모트 식각 공정 후, 트랜치 위의 예리한 산화막의 취약함과 STI-CMP공정 후의 질화막 잔존물 등과 같은 결함들에 미치는 영향에 대해 연구하였다. 실험결과, CMP 공정에서 STI-fill의 두께가 얇을수록, 트랜치 깊이가 깊을수록 찢겨진 산화막의 발생이 증가하였다. 트랜치 깊이가 낮고 CMP 두께가 높으면 질화막 잔존물이 늘어나는 반면, 트랜치 깊이가 깊어 과도한 연마가 진행되면 활성영역의 실리콘 손상을 받음을 알 수 있었다
