As urban population increases, research on urban environmental noise is getting more attention. In this study, we classify the abnormal noise occurring in traffic situation by using a deep learning algorithm which shows high performance in recent environmental noise classification studies. Specifically, we classify the four classes of tire skidding sounds, car crash sounds, car horn sounds, and normal sounds using convolutional neural networks. In addition, we add three environmental noises, including rain, wind and crowd noises, to our training data so that the classification model is more robust in real traffic situation with environmental noises. Experimental results show that the proposed traffic sound classification model achieves better performance than the existing algorithms, particularly under harsh conditions with environmental noises.

AI is applied increasingly to overall industries such as living, medical, financial service, autonomous car, etc. thanks to rapid technology development. AI-leading countries are strengthening their competency to secure competitiveness since AI is positioned as the core technology in $4^{th}$ Industrial Revolution. Although Korea has the competitive IT infra and human resources, it lags behind traditional AI-leaders like United States, Canada, Japan and, even China which devotes all its might to develop intelligent technology-intentive industry. AI is the critical technology influencing on the national industry in the near future according to advancement of intelligent information society so that concentration of capability is required with national interest. Also, joint development with global AI-leading companies as well as development of own technology are crucial to prevent technology subordination. Additionally, regulatory reform and preparation of related law are very urgent.
Damage caused by intelligent cyber attacks not only disrupts system operations and leaks information, but also entails massive economic damage. Recently, cyber attacks have a distinct goal and use advanced attack tools and techniques to accurately infiltrate the target. In order to minimize the damage caused by such an intelligent cyber attack, it is necessary to block the cyber attack at the beginning or during the attack to prevent it from invading the target's core system. Recently, technologies for predicting cyber attack paths and analyzing risk level of cyber attack using big data or artificial intelligence technologies are being studied. In this paper, a cyber attack path analysis method using attack tree and RFI is proposed as a basic algorithm for the development of an automated cyber attack path prediction system. The attack path is visualized using the attack tree, and the priority of the path that can move to the next step is determined using the RFI technique in each attack step. Based on the proposed mechanism, it can contribute to the development of an automated cyber attack path prediction system using big data and deep learning technology.

Light field image captured by a microlens array-based camera has many limitations in practical use due to its low spatial resolution and angular resolution. High spatial resolution images can be easily acquired with a single image super-resolution technique that has been studied a lot recently. But there is a problem in that high angular resolution images are distorted in the process of using disparity information inherent among images, and thus it is difficult to obtain a high-quality angular resolution image. In this paper, we propose light field angular super-resolution that extracts an initial feature map using an dilated convolutional neural network in order to effectively extract the view difference information inherent among images and generates target image using a residual neural network. The proposed network showed superior performance in PSNR and subjective image quality compared to existing angular super-resolution networks.

As the information age enters, the use of biometrics using the body is gradually increasing because it is very important to accurately recognize and authenticate each individual's identity for information protection. Among them, finger vein authentication technology is receiving a lot of attention because it is difficult to forge and demodulate, so it has high security, high precision, and easy user acceptance. However, the accuracy may be degraded depending on the algorithm for identification or the surrounding light environment. In this paper, we designed and manufactured a side-type finger vein recognizer that is highly versatile among finger vein measuring devices, and authenticated using the deep learning model of DenseNet-201 for high accuracy and recognition rate. The performance of finger vein authentication technology according to the influence of the infrared light source used and the surrounding visible light was analyzed through simulation. The simulations used data from MMCBNU_6000 of Jeonbuk National University and finger vein images taken directly were used, and the performance were compared and analyzed using the EER.
In this paper, we detect and track vehicles by type based on highway daytime driving videos taken with black boxes for vehicles. In addition, we design a real-time MR contents production method that can be newly created by placing substitute videos of each type of detected vehicles in the same location as the new background video. To detect and track vehicles by type, we use the YOLO algorithm. And we also use the mask technique based on RGB color for substitute videos of each type of vehicles detected. The size of the vehicle substitute videos to be used for MR content are substituted by the same size as the area size of the detected vehicles. In this paper, we confirm that real-time MR contents design is possible as a result of experiments and simulations and believe that It will be usefully utilized in the field of VR contents.
This study is about a method of extracting a summary from a news article in consideration of the importance of each sentence constituting the article. We propose a method of calculating sentence importance by extracting the probabilities of topic sentence, similarity with article title and other sentences, and sentence position as characteristics that affect sentence importance. At this time, a hypothesis is established that the Topic Sentence will have a characteristic distinct from the general sentence, and a deep learning-based classification model is trained to obtain a topic sentence probability value for the input sentence. Also, using the pre-learned ELMo language model, the similarity between sentences is calculated based on the sentence vector value reflecting the context information and extracted as sentence characteristics. The topic sentence classification performance of the LSTM and BERT models was 93% accurate, 96.22% recall, and 89.5% precision, resulting in high analysis results. As a result of calculating the importance of each sentence by combining the extracted sentence characteristics, it was confirmed that the performance of extracting the topic sentence was improved by about 10% compared to the existing TextRank algorithm.
This paper is a study to evaluate the performance when classifying explosive components by capacity using a convolutional neural network (CNN). Among the existing explosive classification methods, the IMS steam detector method determines the presence or absence of an explosive only when the explosive concentration exceeds the threshold set by the user. The IMS steam detector has a problem of determining that even if an explosive exists, the explosive does not exist in an amount that does not exceed the threshold. Therefore, it is necessary to detect the explosive component even when the concentration of the explosive component does not exceed the threshold. Accordingly, in this paper, after imaging explosive time series data with the Gramian Angular Field (GAF) algorithm, it is possible to determine whether there are explosive components and the amount of explosive components even when the concentration of explosive components does not exceed a threshold.

This paper studies the effect of the number of filters in the CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) layer on the performance of a noise attenuator. Speech is estimated from a noised speech signal using a 64-neuron, 16-kernel CNN filter and an error back-propagation algorithm. In this study, in order to verify the performance of the noise attenuator with respect to the number of filters, a program using Keras library was written and simulation was performed. As a result of simulation, it can be seen that this system has the smallest MSE (Mean Squared Error) and MAE (Mean Absolute Error) values when the number of filters is 16, and the performance is the lowest when there are 4 filters. And when there are more than 8 filters, it was shown that the MSE and MAE values do not differ significantly depending on the number of filters. From these results, it can be seen that about 8 or more filters must be used to express the characteristics of the speech signal.

The geotechnical information constructed in the National Geotechnical Information DB System has been extensively used in design, construction, underground safety management, and disaster assessment. However, it is necessary to refine the geotechnical information because it has nearly 300,000 established cases containing a lot of missing or incorrect information. This research proposes a method for automatic quality control of geotechnical information using a fully connected neural network. Significantly, the anomalies in geotechnical information were detected using a database combining the standard penetration test results and strata information of Seoul. Consequently, the misclassification rate for the verification data is confirmed as 5.4%. Overall, the studied algorithm is expected to detect outliers of geotechnical information effectively.
