  • This paper presents how to establish the decision support model for the cooperative design in order to improve design coordination and optimize the building system. With this view, the paper presents the method that analyzes decision making participants of each building system on drawings. It also presents the combination evaluation method from the viewpoint of performance, cost and constructability to improve the decision making process in cooperative design.

  • Most real world design evaluation and risk-based decision support combine quantitative and qualitative (linguistic) variables. Decision-making based on conventional mathematics that combines qualitative and quantitative concepts always exhibit difficulty in modelling actual problems. The successful selection process for choosing a design/procurement proposal is based on a high degree of technical integrity, safety levels and low costs in construction, corrective measures, maintenance, operation, inspection and preventive measures. However, the objectives of maximising the degree of technical performance, maximising the safety levels and minimising the costs incurred are usually in conflict, and the evaluation of the technical performance, safety and costs is always associated with uncertainties, especially for a novel system at the initial concept design stage. In this paper, a design-decision support framework using a composite structure methodology grounded in approximate reasoning approach and evidential reasoning method is suggested for design evaluation of machinery space of a ship engine room at the initial stages. It is a Multiple Attribute Decision-Making (MADM) or Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) framework, which provides a juxtaposition of cost, safety and technical performance of a system during evaluation to assist decision makers in selecting the winning design/procurement proposal that best satisfies the requirement in hand. An illustrative example is used to demonstrate the application of the proposed framework.

공업용수 배수관망시스템을 개선하기 위한 설계 대안의 수리해석 (Hydraulic analysis of design alternatives to improve an industrial water distribution system)

  • A CCTV inspection method has been widely used to assess sewer condition and performance, but Korea lacks a proper decision support system for prioritizing sewer repair and rehabilitation (R&R). The objective of this paper is to introduce the results that we have developed in the Sewer Condition Assessment and Rehabilitation Decision-making (SCARD) Program using MS-EXCEL. The SCARD-Program is based on a standardized defect score for sewer structural and hydraulic assessment. Priorities are ranked based on risk scores, which are calculated by multiplying the sewer severity scores by the environmental impacts. This program is composed of three parts, which are decision-making for sewer condition and performance assessment, decision-making for sewer R&R priority assessment, and decision-making for optimal budget allocation. The SCARD-Program is useful for decision-makers, as it enables them to assess the sewer condition and to prioritize sewer R&R within the limited annual budget. In the future, this program logic will applied to the GIS-based sewer asset management system in local governments.

유비쿼터스 환경에서 다중 동적 의사결정지원시스템(UMD-DSS) : 비구조적 문제 중심으로 (Multi-dynamic Decision Support System for Multi Decision Problems for Highly Ill.structured Problem in Ubiquitous Computing)

  • 본 연구에서는 무선 네트워크 접속기능을 갖춘 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 다중 동적 의사결정지원시스템(Multi-Dynamic Decision Support System in Ubiquitous Computing; UMD-DSS)을 제안한다. 즉 유비쿼터스 컴퓨터환경에서의 의사결정은 다수의 유동 참여자들이 시시각각 변화하는 정보를 기반으로 의사결정자들 개인의 목적과 참여된 집단의 목적을 동시에 만족하는 의사결정을 지원한다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서 제안하는 의사결정지원시스템은 혼합형구조를 이룬다. 개별 의사결정자들의 의사결정을 지원하는 분산형 의사결정지원시스템과 의사결정자가 속한 집단의 목적함수를 최대화를 지원하는 중앙집중형 의사결정 시스템이 혼합된 혼합형 의사결정지원시스템을 제안한다. 혼합형 의사결정지원시스템의 기본 구조는 의사결정에 참여하는 개별에이전트들로부터 인식된 상황정보를 이용한 의사결정프로세스를 관리하는 의사결정프로세서, 다중 에이전트들을 관리하는 다중 에이전트 프로세서 및 의사결정을 위해 필요한 지식을 관리하는 지능적 지식관리 프로세서로 구성된다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨터 환경에서의 의사결정은 시간과 공간의 제약을 받지 않으며 다중 유동의사결정자의 의사결정을 동시에 할 수 있고, 이러한 의사결정이 의사결정자가 속한 집단의 목적함수를 최대화 할 수 있도록 해야 한다. 이에 적합한 비구조적인 문제인 유풀필먼트(u-Fulfillment)의 특징은 다음과 같다. 의사결정에 참여하는 유동 의사결정자가 다수이며 시시각각으로 변하는 문제에 즉각적인 대응이 요구되고 단기간의 공유된 정보를 활용하여 의미 있는 의사 결정이 요구되는 특징이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유풀필먼트(u-Fulfillment)를 본 연구의 활용 대상으로 하여 유비쿼터스 다중 동적 의사결정지원시스템을 제안한다.

시맨틱 웹과 SWCL하의 제품설계 최적 공통속성 선택을 위한 의사결정 지원 시스템 (A Decision Support System for Product Design Common Attribute Selection under the Semantic Web and SWCL)

  • It is unavoidable to provide products that meet customers' needs and wants so that firms may survive under the competition in this globalized market. This paper focuses on how to provide levels for attributes that compse product so that firms may give the best products to customers. In particular, its main issue is how to determine common attributes and the others with their appropriate levels to maximize firms' profits, and how to construct a decision support system to ease decision makers' decisons about optimal common attribute selection using the Semantic Web and SWCL technologies. Parameter data in problems and the relationships in the data are expressed in an ontology data model and a set of constraints by using the Semantic Web and SWCL technologies. They generate a quantitative decision making model through the automatic process in the proposed system, which is fed into the solver using the Logic-based Benders Decomposition method to obtain an optimal solution. The system finally provides the generated solution to the decision makers. This presentation suggests the opportunity of the integration of the proposed system with the broader structured data network and other decision making tools because of the easy data shareness, the standardized data structure and the ease of machine processing in the Semantic Web technology.

R&D 경제적 가치평가를 통한 의사결정 정보지원 시스템에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Information Supporting System for R&D Decision Making using Technology Valuation Model)

  • 이 연구는 R&D 투자에 대한 신속한 의사결정을 지원하고 R&D의 경제적 성과를 극대화시키기 위하여 R&D 기획 초기부터 기술의 경제적 수익에 대한 개념을 도입하고, 개발 완료된 R&D 기술의 상용화에 이르기까지 의사결정에 필요한 정보를 제공하는 시스템에 관한 것이다. 이 연구는 R&D 의사결정의 주요 경로를 파악하고, 단계별로 소요되는 정보에 대한 분석과 지식정보의 지원을 위하여 KISTI 과학기술 데이터 베이스 및 다른 공개용 정보원과의 원활한 연계 및 기술가치평가 정보 지원으로 구성되어 있다. 특히, 경제적 성과를 추정하기 위한 기술가치평가 정보 지원은 단계별 근거가 되는 지식정보를 지원하는 KISTI 기술가치평가 모델을 접목함으로써 좀더 객관적인 추정과 의사결정을 지원하도록 하였다.

지자체 발전전략과 공간적 의사결정지원체계의 연계 방안 연구 (Linkage the Development Strategy of Local Government to Spatial Decision Support System)

  • 본 연구는 지방자치단체의 발전전략에서 정책결정과정을 주목하고, 지리정보 기반의 공간적 의사결정지원체계의 활용방안을 제시하는데 목적을 두었다. 공간적 의사결정지원체계는 해당 지역주민의 참여를 통해 이해관계가 얽혀있는 갈등상황을 최소화하고, 정책의 기획부터 집행까지 주민이 참여하여 지역현안을 해결하는 방안으로써 논의되고 있다. 이 논의는 지자체의 사회경제적 여건과 특성을 고려하지 못한 채 획일적인 정책결정과정을 개선하는 방안으로써 의미가 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라의 중소도시규모인 경기도 구리시를 사례지역으로 선정하고, 도시발전전략과 정책목표를 분석하여 주민참여를 위한 공간적 의사결정지원체계를 제안하였다. 연구방법은 구리시청 실무자를 대상으로 설문조사를 수행하고, 지리정보 관련 담당부서는 심층면접을 수행하였다. 연구결과, 지리정보를 활용한 공간적 의사결정지원체계는 다음과 같은 요소들을 고려해야 한다. 첫째, 해당 지역이 가지고 있는 지리적 환경과 자원을 고려하여 지역발전전략을 계획해야 한다. 둘째, 지역발전을 위한 지리정보의 활용은 실무자의 GIS에 대한 인식개선과 해당 업무에서 지리정보와 연계활용측면의 교육이 중요하다. 셋째, 주민참여를 위한 의사결정지원체계 요소는 참여주체, 시스템, 그리고 제도행정으로 구분하여 분석하였다. 향후, 지자체 발전전략을 위한 공간적 의사결정지원체계는 다양한 지역의 인문 사회 자연환경적 요소를 고려한 통합적인 추진모형구축이 필요하다.

우리나라 Group Support System 개발을 위한 집단 의사 결정 특성 분석: 사무실 근로자들을 대상으로 한 실험 연구 (An Analysis of the Group Decision Making for the Development of a Korean Group Support System: The Field Experiment using Office Workers)

  • This study investigates the effect of group size on group performance, here the quality of group decision, Four effects are proposed and tested in a field experimental setting : (1) the relationship between the group size and the distribution of individual's problem-solving ability ; (2) the change of the group decision quality as group size increases ; (3) the relationship between the group decision quality and the quality of the best/worst member as group size increases ; (4) the relationship between the group decision quality and the average quality of individuals in the group as group size increases. Data showed that contrary to the exiting results, group decision quality was not improved with the group size. Rather, it showed a little tendency that group decision quality was worsened with the group size. Data also showed that consensus-oriented group decision making process produced the compromised output. Thus, group decision quality was not better than the average group members'. The opinion of the best member was not accepted. The implications of the findings are discussed for the development of a Korean GSS.

도서관경영에 있어서 의사결정시스템에 관한 연구 (A study on decision making system in library management with an analysis on the case study of university library in Seoul)

  • This dissertation are studying the conceptual structure of decision making situation in libraries, by analyzing the library function, decision makings of library and then seeking economic and efficient alternative decision making by programming the· decision making situations, and finally, introducing how to apply management information system or decision making support system. For this purpose, in order to analyzing necessary factors for the decision making system, the questionnaire used Lickert method were distributed to 400 librarians of 36 universities in Seoul by means of mail. 193 librarians, $48\%$ of the questionnaire, are returned are studied by using 'SYSTAT' statistical software to figure out the factors of the decision making system. This dissertation was put six hypotheses and tested with the returned questionnaire. The following five result can be asserted. First, to the higher degree of the librarians' participation in the important library decision makings, the quality of formal library services are improved regardless of seniority of the work. Secondly, the t-test results show that all of t-test scores of seniority of the work, educational background, and responsibilities of the work are exceeding significant level and perception of decision making was proved to be different depending on seniority of the work, educational background, and responsibilities of the work in libraries. Thirdly, as the results of factor af factor analysis, the encouragement on participation in the library academic activities, the extent to get useful information about performances of library and the improvements of library works were grouped by similar posibilities of distribution and therfore the academic activities, the collection of information and the improvement of library performances is proved to be interrelational each other. Fourthly, the fifth hypothesis of the close relationship between the decision making situation and types of advisor by it was more or less interrelational, but their relationship was not seen some significancies. Lastly, as the dynamic organization of library management forming a special commitee or a project team with librarian can improve the extent and quality of the librarian's participation in the decision making of library works, and thus library will become to performance more rational and effective library management.

항만물류종합정보시스템의 재난복구 우선순위결정 : 퍼지 TOPSIS 접근방법 (Disaster Recovery Priority Decision of Total Information System for Port Logistics : Fuzzy TOPSIS Approach)

  • This paper is aimed to present a fuzzy decision-making approach to deal with disaster recovery priority decision problem in information system. We derive an evaluation approach based on TOPSIS(Technique for Order Performance by Similarity to Ideal Solution), to help disaster recovery priority decision of total information system for port logistics in a fuzzy environment where the vagueness and subjectivity are handled with linguistic terms parameterized by trapezoidal fuzzy numbers. This study applies the fuzzy multi-criteria decision-making method to determine the importance weight of evaluation criteria and to synthesize the ratings of candidate disaster recovery system. Aggregated the evaluators' attitude toward preference, then TOPSIS is employed to obtain a crisp overall performance value for each alternative to make a final decision. This approach is demonstrated with a real case study involving 4 evaluation criteria(system dependence, RTO, loss, alternative business support), 7 information systems for port logistics assessed by 5 evaluators from Maritime Affairs and Port Office.
