Methods: A total of 134 first-year nursing students were enrolled in this study. Data were collected from March 25 to April 5, 2024. Data collected prospectively were analyzed by t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Career preparation behavior showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.28, p=.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.41, p<.001) and career decision-making self-efficacy(r=.61, p<.001). Career decisionmaking self-efficacy showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.59, p<.001), satisfaction with one's major (r=.70, p<.001). Satisfaction with one's major showed a significantly positive correlation with nurse image (r=.66, p<.001). Career preparation behavior was significantly affected by nurse in the family and relatives (β=-.21, p=.003) and career decision-making self-efficacy (β=.64, p<.001), which had an explanatory power of 41.0%. Conclusion: To establish career preparation behavior in first-year nursing students, it is necessary to develop a variety of systematic educational programs to enhance career decision-making self-efficacy.

To ensure the reliability and validity of the questions, technical statistics of the frequency, ratio, average, standard deviation, skewness, and kurtosis via PASW 18.0, item-total correlation, the totality, and the reliability analysis. The structural analysis via AMOS 7.0 in the bootstrapping method was undertaken to perform the path analysis among the variables and to assess the suitability of the model. The findings of the study led to the following conclusions: First, the causal model for the career preparation behavior, parental social support, career decision making self-efficacy, and the career maturity of the pre-service elementary school teachers is suitable to empirical analysis on research variables. Second, the career decision making self-efficacy of pre-service elementary teachers has direct effect on career preparation behavior positively. Third, parental social support of the pre-service elementary teachers has indirect effects on the career preparation behavior positively.

  • This research was conducted to achieve several objectives and focus research was based on financial behavior theory and prospect theory as grounded theory e.g., investigate the financial decision-making behavior between financial and real assets investment, and confirm the relationship existing between herding behavior and overconfidence factors to the level of loss and regret aversion, and financial literacy into real assets investment decisions. The study used 220 real estate auction respondents as investor samples at the State Assets and Auction Service Office Makassar, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data was collected through the use of a questionnaire consisting of 23 questions to measure the variables. Moreover, the research data passed through several feasibility tests like the inner and outer modeling by Partial Least Square - Structural equation model (PLS-SEM) while the hypotheses formulated were also tested to determine the magnitude of the variable relationship. Through the use of the direct and intervening test, loss and regret aversion variables have a positive and significant effect while financial literacy variables have no significant effect. There is a slight difference in the decision-making process for real assets and financial assets investors. Investment decision making behavior in the financial assets sector requires less complicated decisions compared to the decisions related to real assets investments.

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to test the effect of a Career Search Program on career search efficacy, career search behavior, and career decision making for nursing students. Methods: A non-equivalent pre-post test of a quasi-experimental design was used. Fifty first grade nursing students participated in the study with 22 in the experimental group and 28 in the control group. We used a Career Search Program which was held 6 times over 6 weeks, 90 minutes per session. Descriptive statistics, ${\chi}^2$-test, and independent t-test were used for statistical analysis with SPSS 19.0. Results: There were significant increases in career search efficacy (t=2.07, p=.044) and career search behavior(t=2.65, p=.011) in the experimental group compared to the control group. However, career decision making was not significantly changed (t=0.96, p=.342). Conclusion: These results suggest that a Career grade Search Program has an effect on increasing career search efficacy and career search behavior in first grade nursing students. In addition, more programs to impact career decision making should be developed for nursing college students.

  • One of the most important research works in modern business enterpise is the relation between the purpose of business enterprise and decision making behavior of manager. It is because the coincidence of the former and the latter is considered an ideal type in evaluating the result of business management. Here I have set up assumptions in order to solve the above statements: (1) What purpose does the modern business enterprise set up and what kind of economic background does it have? (2) What is the theory of maximization of stock value among the purposes of business enterprise? (3) What kind of decision making do we do in the maximization of stock value in busiess administration? (4) How is the behavior of business financial manager's intention and decision made? The result pursued under the above assumptions shows that business manager's behavior of decision making is affected according to the degree that he gets some information, but basically is determined in consideration of his autonomous standpoint, namely the stability of business enterprise and the stability of manager himself while he faithfully performs his duty which is entrusted by stockholders. Therefore we come to the conclusion that there is a little gap between a manager's behavior of decision-making and the purpose of stock value maximization.
