거버너샤프트 교차구멍 내경의 전해디버링 특성에 관한 연구 (A study on the characteristics of electrochemical deburring in the governor shaft cross hole)

  • Recently burr technology is rising in the fields of the precision manufacturing and the high quality machining, deburring has treated as a difficult problem on going to the high efficiency, automation in the FMS. Removal of burr with various shapes, dimensions and properties couldn't be standardized and has depended on manual treatment. Especially, deburring for cross hole inside owing to passing through out perpendicular to a main hole is more difficult, the electrochemical method is proper as its solution at practical aspects. Burr elimination in the cross hole drilling of governor shaft used in the automobile engine so far has been worked by a manual post-processing by a skillful worker, which becomes a factor of productivity-down and cost-up so that improvement of machining process is needed. Therefore, for the high efficiency and automation of internal deburring in the cross hole, development of electrochemical deburring technology is needed. So, the new process in the burr treatment is supposed. In this study, characteristics of electrochemical deburring through experiments were identified and factors such as electrolytic gap and electorlytic fluid contributed to removal burr height were analyzed. Also, deburring efficiency and electrolytic performance for cross hole were examined according to electrolytic current and electrochemical deburring condition corresponding to acquired edge quality was found out.

  • It is very important to make an intensive control of burr and surface roughness in the actuator arm of HDD for personal computer. There are two finishing techniques for actuator arm mechanical and chemical method. Centrifugal barrelling and magnetic deburring are mechanical methods, and electrolysis finish is a chemical method. Centrifugal barrelling and magnetic deburring are widely used due to the excellence in convenience and mass production. In this study, characteristics of surface roughness and deburring effect in magnetic deburring and centrifugal barrelling are investigated, and their performance of finishing is compared.

  • Deburring and edge finishing technology as the last process of machining operation is required for manufacturing of advanced procesion components, duburring has treated as a difficult problem on going tothe highefficency, automation in the FMS. In this study, in the eliminating burr inside cross hole, the principle and machining performances of electrochemical deburring by Cubic-Boron-Nitrade abrasive electroplate wheel are investigated, Design and manufacture of CBN electroplated wheel and analysis of characteristics with electrolytic debutting are achieved. Also deburring efficiency and electrolytic performance for cross hole were examined according to electrolytic current and electrolytic deburring condition corresponding to acquired edge quality was found out.

자기연마법을 이용한 Deburring (Deburring using Magnetic Abrasive Machining)

  • The magnetic abrasive machining has been developed as a new finishing technology to obtain a fine surface of workpiece. In this paper, a static magnetic field method and a magnetic abrasive brush which has many technical advantages, are applied for the magnetic abrasive machining. In the experiment, some items such as finishing time, ratio of the magnetic abrasives to Fe-powder, motor revolutions per minute, and motor ratio revolutions per minute are tested. The results of this study have shown the fact that the burr height is mostly affected by the finishing time and the abrasive ratio. Also, it has been found that the magnetic abrasive machining is a possible new technology for the deburring.

  • The performance of magnetic abrasive finishing fur surface is evaluated by the characteristic curve. The characteristic curve is generated by experiment in surface finishing. For experiment, new magnetic inductor is designed and manufactured. 15 kinds of powders are provided to find the relationship between powder characteristic and finishing performance. As powder, Fe-TiC. Polymer-TiC and Fe-NbC are used with different size. The size of abrasives and location are also important factor for the performance. From characteristic curve, two index are obtained, which specify the initial finishing performance and endurance of finishing performance. It is proved that the performance index can be applied to select proper powder for efficient deburring. It is shown that the characteristic curve can be used as good tools for evaluating powder performance in surface finishing and deburring.

브러시 디버링 연삭 시스템 공정 최적화에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Process Optimization of Brush Deburring Grinding System)

  • Due to the increasing demand for carious methodologies, the quality improvement of products were introduced. A brush, the most frequently used type of grinding process, is one of the deburring. In order to produce consistent burr shape, various machining conditions have been combined and applied to disk grinding process. By tool dynamometer, acoustic emission sensor and acceleration sensor depend on changes in processing conditions(depth of engagement, cutting speed, workpiece position, workpiece orientation, cutting time) signals were obtained for brush deburring grinding system. Root mean square obtained by processing the signal processing conditions by analyzing the characteristics of deburring is to derive the optimum conditions.

전해-자기 복합 가공을 이용한 미세 그루브형상의 가공 특성에 관한 연구 (Characteristic of EP-MAP for Deburring of Microgroove using EP-MAP)

  • 전자기력을 이용한 자기연마 공정은 전통적 가공방식으로 버를 제거하기 힘든 비자성체의 소재 및 마이크로 형상의 가진 제품에 활용될 수 있는 새로운 정밀 디버링 방식이다. 그러나 이러한 자기연마법은 자기연마입자를 이용한 기계적 절삭력을 이용하고 있기 때문에 마이크로 단위의 구조물의 형상을 변형시킬 가능성이 높다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 탄소나노튜브-코발트 금속복합체를 이용한 전해-자기복합가공을 STS316 소재의 미세 그루브의 마이크로 디버링공정에 적용하고 그 특성을 분석하였다. 그 결과 자기연마공정을 적용한 공정에서는 공정 후 그루브에 생성된 버는 효율적으로 제거되었으나 그루브 끝단의 형상변화가 두드러지게 관찰되었다. 반면 전해-자기복합가공을 이용한 경우에는 재료제거율이 낮아 그루브 끝단의 형상변화 없이 디버링 공정이 진행됨을 확인하였다.

마이크로 엔드밀에 의한 미세격벽가공의 가공특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Machining Characteristics for Micro Barrier Ribs by using Micro Endmilling)

  • Recently, miniaturization and mass production are the main trends in manufacturing fields. Therefore, ultraprecision machining and MEMS technology have been taken more and more important position in machining of microparts. Micro endmilling is one of the prominent technology that has wide spectrum of application field ranging from macro parts to micro products, such as PDP and IT components, in precision products manufacturing. However, the deburring is significant problem in making smooth and precise parts in micro endmilling. This paper shows removal characteristics of burr generated by micro endmilling process. Additionally, it is necessary to understand the formation mechanism of burr of micro barrier ribs to find proper deburring method.

  • In debureing process. Human experts who have long experenc in performing deburring tasks can manipulate tools efficiently and adapt the tool motions according to the state of the process based on their skills. However, human experts have difficulties in describing linguistically their control schemes and strategies because teey don't aware the detailed process in interpreting wensory information and adapting tool motion. Therefore, it is important to develop a mean of understanding the skills and acquiring the control schemes so that the robot can perform the same skillful motion as the human experts. In this paper, an expert's skill model is developed so that it can be transferred effectively from the expertt to the robot. Skills are represented by a mapping which is generated by using a neural network. Expert's skill shows that the robot is able to associate a correct control strategy with process characteristics which is acquired from a vision image in a similar manner to a human expert's
