The purpose of this study is to establish an integrated management system for the efficient management of rural water, to improve current problems, and to lay the foundations for active use of rural water information. We proposed a plan for informatization with a focus on establishing a database that can be used to provide customized services to users by applying advanced IT technology and to strengthen the management system of cities and counties with poor information. Data linkage and integration, user service development and integration system, application of IT technology, advanced decision support for rural water management, strengthening of city and county management system And the details of the implementation of the key project were presented.

For several years, researchers have focused on improving the integration of the CAD, CAM and Analysis through a better communication between the various analysis tools. This tendency to integrate the CAD/Analysis and automation of the corresponding processes requires data sharing between the various tasks using an integrated product model. We are interested in this research orientation to CAD/CAM/Analysis integration by rebuilding the CAD model (BREP), starting from the Analysis results (deformed mesh). Because this problem is complex, it requires to be split into several complementary parts. This paper presents an original interoperability process between the CAD and CAE. This approach is based on a new technique of rebuilding the CAD surface model (Nurbs, Bezier, etc.) starting from triangulation (meshed surface) as a main step of the BREP solid model. In our work, the advantages of this approach are identified using a centrifugal pump example.

Tight integration between design and analysis process and data representation in the ship design application domain has been studied in this paper. Multi-Representation Architecture proposed at Georgia Institute of Technology has been carefully investigated for the application in the initial ship design stage. The prototype implementation shows that the application of MRA in the structural ship design domain is quite possible and can be extended for other design and analysis views in ship design.

In Kenya during the last one decade, public and private sectors have invested a lot of resources in computer based Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to improve the quality of education in schools. The main objective has been to integrate ICT in the delivery of curriculum in order to improve the quality of teaching-learning and to produce ICT literate workforce. The computer based technologies are used in management, pedagogy, and communication. This paper presents results from a study that was conducted in Nairobi County in Kenya to determine the key factors in the integration of computer based ICT in teaching-learning in pre-primary and lower primary schools. Results had revealed that the use of computer based ICT in teaching-learning by both pre-primary and lower primary schools was influenced by accessibility of resources, capacity to use the technology, availability of time, and provision of technical support.

Since 1996, the document exchange method by EDI has been introduced in port and logistics industries in Korea to enhance the declaration activities to the Pusan Port Authority and Customs. In spite of these efforts, users such as shipping companies, shipping agents, and freight forwarders have complained the inconvenience of using EDI systems. The major reasons can be summarized as follows: repetitional EDI transfer, too much transfer time, inconvenient EDI software, and problems on message receiving confirmation. Furthermore, EDI has been used only for transmitting messages. To solve these problems, this study has adopted the integration system by applying the concept of SCM to logistics system by XML/EDl. In the view of SCM, the existing EDI has some problems because its role is only to transmit the messages. This paper is to suggest how current EDI systems in Port and logistics sector has to be chanced by Introducing SCM. The integration system gives us such advantages as accuracy of cargo data, integration of processes among firms, and keeping the trace of cargo.

Many Korean EFL (English as a Foreign Language) students do not have sufficient opportunity to develop cultural knowledge and information in their classrooms. EFL teachers also tend to ignore the teaching of culture. Even though culture is taught, it simply tends to deliver "fact-only" information from the viewpoint of a "tourist level rather than cultural awareness by comparing native with target cultural references. Teaching target cultural knowledge and information should be delivered within the native cultural frame, and teaching of culture must be an integral part of teaching and learning English. The research methodology was quantitative. Quantitative data was gathered from 83 Korean EFL teachers and 286 EFL students by questionnaire. Findings indicated that three of these independent variables (cultural inequality, English-only instruction, and Unoism) were significantly and inversely related to integration of culture.

The Propulsion System Integration can be defined as the optimization technology of combining the propulsion system components with the airframe to achieve the overall aircraft misson performance goals. The disposition of propulsion system components on engine compartment enveloped by front fuselage and fire bulkhead is very restricted because of the interference with nose L/G and engine mountig strut. The design of components depends on the traditional technical data base. The engine satisfying a customer's ROC was selected among worldwide existing engines by the comparision studies of performance analysis with enigine installed effect, future growth potential, ILS, and application to aircrafts, etc. The ground test of the propulsion system integration was performed in the test cell and on the aircraft to assure the function of the components. The flight test was performed to confirm complying the performance requirements.

Integration of intelligent robot workcell is now a hot issue in CIM and robotics area. This paper dealt with relatively low level essential topics. i. e., multi-robot coordination and real-time communication for the integration of intelligent robot workcell. For the coordination of multi-robot system, the tightly-coupled coordination is proposed using the various sensors. In order to handle the numerous communication data, time-critical communication network (field-bus) is introduced and investigated. Finally, intelligent robot workcell is suggested using the mini-MAP and field-bus.

As diverse researches are working about location acquisition, storing method, data modeling and query processing of moving objects, the moving object database systems, which can gain, store and manage location information and query processing, are tuning up. As the mobile device is moving but have constraints, the convenience user interface for spatio-temporal query and viewing query result needs. In this paper, we designed user Interface for spatio-temporal query related moving objects, viewing query result, tracing current and past location of those and monitoring. And we designed system for implementation of these interfaces.

This paper analyzes the technical efficiencies of 40 Korean system integration firms using data envelopment analysis (DEA) and Malmquist productivity indices. Technical efficiencies on average had been decreased over the five year period and the efficiency difference between best practice firms and catch-up firms had been increased during this period, meaning that the industry structure has become matured and the possibilities for catch-up firms to be efficient are not remained so much. The differences in efficiency by the differences in ownership structures are statistically significant. It implies that the efficiencies of group-affiliated firms have come from benefits such as the captive market umbrellas, not from their own management competencies. In addition, the technical efficiency is highly correlated with captive market sales, information productivity, sales per employees, rates of value added, returns on invested capital, and EBITDA.
