It is certain that the future manufacturing environment will be network-centric and spatially distributed based on Internet. Today, wide variety of distributed computing and communication technologies are available for implementing a system for product data exchange and sharing. One of the technologies that have been received most attentions for product data exchange and sharing is Product Data Management (PDM). PDM tries to integrate and manage process of data and technical documents that are connected to physical product components. In accordance to previous researches about PDM, it can be regarded as an integration tool of many different areas, which ensures that the right information is available to the right person at the right time and in the right form throughout the enterprise. PDM with Web-enabled CAD system is proposed in this paper in order to acknowledge the usefulness of the system mentioned. The system will use Web service on Visual Studio C#.Net to invoke the web application system.

Nowadays, distributed mobility management (DMM) approaches have been widely adopted to address the limitations of centralized architectural methods to support seamless data transmission schemes in wireless sensor networks. This paper deals with the end-to-end (E2E) integration of Network Mobility (NEMO) basic support protocol in distributed wireless sensor network systems in structural health and environmental monitoring of social overhead capital (SOC) public infrastructures such as bridges, national highways, tunnels, and railroads. The proposed scheme takes advantage of the features of both the NEMO basic support protocol and partially distributed network-based DMM framework in providing seamless data transmission and robust mobility support. The E2E seamless data transmission scheme allows mobile users to roam from fixed-point network access locations and mobile platforms (i.e., vehicles such as cars, buses, and trains) without disconnecting its current sessions (i.e., seamless handover).

A technique for a wear volume calculation is improved and verified in this research. The wear profile data measured by a surface roughness tester is used. The present technique uses a data flattening, the FFT and the windowing procedure, which is used for a general signal processing. The measured value of an average roughness of an unworn surfnce is used for the baseline of the integration for the volume calculation. The improvements from the previous technique are the procedures of the data flattening and the determination of a baseline. It is found that the flattening procedure efnciently manipulates the raw data when the levels of it are not horizontal, which enables us to calculate the volume reasonably well and readily. By comparing it with the weight loss method by using artificial dents, the present method reveals more volume by aroung 3~10%. It is attributed to the protruded region of the specimen and the inaccuracy and data averaging during the weght loss measurement. From a thorough investigation, it is concluded that the present technique can provide an accurate wear volume.

Storage services integration can be done for achieving high availability, improving data access performance and scalability while preventing vendor lock-in. However, multiple services environment management and interoperability have become a critical issue as a result of service architectures and communication interfaces heterogeneity. Storage federation model provides the integration of multiple heterogeneous and self-sufficient storage systems with a single control point and automated decision making about data distribution. In order to integrate diverse heterogeneous storage services into a single storage pool, we are proposing a storage service federation framework named BoxBroker. Moreover, an automated decision model based on a policy-driven data distribution algorithm and a service evaluation method is proposed enabling BoxBroker to make optimal decisions. Finally, a demonstration of our proposal capabilities is presented and discussed.

It is important to measure e dynamic behaviors of the structures and determine the safety and serviceability of those structures by analyzing the gathered data. It is very much easier and more economical to measure the accelerations than displacements in order to obtain the dynamic responses of a structure, but the physical meanings of the displacements are more clear and definite than those of accelerations. In this study, the algorithm which can evaluate the displacements from the measured acceleration data by integration are developed. The calculated displacements are compared with measured data through the laboratory test and the results represent good agreements. This algorithm is applied to the data of real structures.

The rapid growth of Hardware technologies and Network fitted to us Ubiquitous Computing Life[1]. The goals of UDI Service Platform are data protection for the distributed data on pervasive computing devices and data distribution to appropriate users with best distribution policies. To implement the idea we evaluate the logical schema Cyber View that is a management tool.

With the rapid successful deployment of WLANs worldwide in numerous hotspots for high data rate, wireless access for data services has created the need to integrate the Cellular Networks with WLAN Networks. The integrated wireless environment will provide the end user a much better service experience along with a single subscription and a single bill. In this paper we focus on inter-working approaches, which combine WLANs and Cellular Networks into an integrated wireless environment capable of ubiquitous access to data services and very high data rates in hotspots areas. We first list the key requirements which are currently being standardized within the 30PP for integration with WLANs networks. We discuss two inter-working architectures namely loosely coupled and tightly coupled This paper will detail the loosely coupled inter-working approach while briefly discussing the tightly coupled inter-working. Finally, we will conclude that the loosely coupled approach is evolutionary and less intrusive than the tightly coupled approach.

The study was performed to extraction the ground water potential area using LANDSAT TM data. The image processing techniques developed for the study are contrast transformation, differential filtering and pseudo stereoscopic image methods. These were examined for lineament extraction, lineament interpretation and the integration of vertor data with LANDSAT data. The differential filtering method is much usefull for lineament extraction, and all direction lineaments are clearly shown on the band 5 image of LANDSAT TM. The pseudo stereoscopic image are made in which color differential method is adopted, the pair images are usefull for the lineament interpretation. The results of the analysis are as follows. 1) there is a close correlation between lineament and cased well in the study area, because 33 wells of the developed 45 cased wells coincide with the lineaments. 2) 21 sites in the study area were selected for pumping test, and as a result 11 sites of them produces over than 200 ton/day.

Many organizations seek statistical modelling facilitated by data analytics technologies for determining the prediction models associated with M&A (Merger and Acquisition). By combining these data analytics tool alongside with data collection approaches aids organizations towards M&A decision making, followed by achieving profitable insights as well. It promotes for better visibility, overall improvements and effective negotiation strategies for post-M&A integration. This paper explores on the impact of pre and post integration of M&A in a standard organizational setting via devising a suitable statistical model via employing techniques such as Naïve Bayes, K-nearest neighbour (KNN), and Decision Tree & Support Vector Machine (SVM).

The purpose of this study is to examine the level of social integration of the person with physical disabilities based on independent living paradigm according to life span and to find factors affecting social integration and therefore to make policy implications for a better rehabilitation system. The data was obtained through telephone interviews with physically disabled residing in the city of Seoul and the suburb area of the city. The final sample consists of 591 respondents. The data was analyzed through frequency, oneway anova, pearson's correlation analysis, and multiple regression. In this study, social integration based on independent living paradigm was divided into separate but related dimensions: autonomy of activity daily living, accessibility, economic level, degree of social support satisfaction, consumer control, psychological empowerment. The major findings of this study were as follows: First, the levels of six dimensions of social integration based on independent living paradigm were very different and especially the level of dimensions such as degree of social support satisfaction and consumer control were lower than other dimensions of social integration. Second, each level of social integration by life span was very different. Finally, the factors affecting social integration were socio-psychological traits such as social support, rehabilitation services, self esteem and acceptance of disability as well as the attribution to disability. The current findings suggest that improving nay only ADL or accessibility but also consumer control or social support should be considered by professional and policy makers. And differentiated intervention and policy according to life span necessary to policy makers and field practitioners.
