Objectives: The purpose of this study was to compare the differences of sleep quality, fatigue and depression between school lessons and clinical practicum term in nursing students. Methods: This study was conducted through a survey on 84 $4^{th}$ grade nursing students. Data collection was conducted from April to June, 2015. Participants completed a questionnaire assessing sleep quality, fatigue and depression. Data were analyzed by the SPSS/WIN 21.0 using descriptive statistics, paired t-tests, ANOVAs, Pearson's correlations and multiple regression. Results: The mean scores of fatigue and depression during the school lesson were significantly high compared to those of the clinical practicum. On the contrary, the score of sleep quality did not showed difference. Sleep quality showed negative correlations with fatigue and depression respectively, and fatigue showed positive correlation with depression. Subjective health status was the influential factor predicting fatigue and depression after school lessons, and subjective health status and major satisfaction were the influential factors predicting fatigue and depression after clinical practicum term. Conclusions: Nursing students showed different characteristics between school lessons and clinical practicum term. Thus, it is essential to identify physical and psychological problems and related factors respectively, then to devise appropriate programs to improve nursing curriculums.
Objectives: The purpose of this study was to identify factors related with demographic and work characteristics that affect musculoskeletal pain and quality of life among personal assistants for people with severe disabilities. Methods: The subjects were recruited among personal assistant for people with severe disabilities who participated in refresher training held in K-si, Gyeonggi-do Province through convenience sampling. Using a survey instrument developed by the authors, subjects responded to questionnaires concerning muscluloskeletal pain and quality of life. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0. Basically, collected data was analyzed in terms of frequency, t-test or ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results: Total years of work experience and subjective physical workload were associated with the number of pain sites and intensity. Additionally, for quality of life, subjective physical workload was related in the regression model. Conclusions: Based on this study, we identified that characteristics of work affected the musculoskeletal pain and quality of life of personal assistants for the severely disabled, and suggested improvement of the working environment, including musculoskeletal pain prevention education programs during the refresher education for assistants to the severely disabled.
Purpose - The purpose of this study was to find out the relation between wedding banquet service quality, customer satisfaction and loyalty focusing on upscale hotels in Korea. Design/methodology/approach - The primary data was collected through an online questionnaire to test hypotheses and investigate the objectives of the study. 89 questionnaires were collected as valid data to be analyzed. In order to test hypotheses, reliability, validity, correlations and regression analysis were accomplished. Findings - The findings of this study can be summarized as followed. Firstly, as a result of examining the relationship between perceived hotel wedding banquet quality and customer emotional satisfaction. Through this study, the perceived wedding banquet quality does not affect customer satisfaction. Secondly, emotional satisfaction on wedding banquets affects customer loyalty. Thirdly, it is found that the perceived service quality on wedding banquets can affect customer loyalty. Research implications or Originality - With the rise in selecting wedding venues, establishing an effective marketing strategy by practitioners is demanded in order to survive in competitive situations. However, research conducted on wedding banquets is insufficient so far. Therefore, this study was needed to conduct to widen the scope of the study.

Outcome-based education (OBE) is a tried-and-true teaching technique based on a set of predetermined goals. Program Educational Objectives (PEOs), Program Outcomes (POs), and Course Outcomes (COs) are the components of OBE. At the end of each year, the Program Outcomes are evaluated, and faculty members can submit many recommended measures which dependent on the relationship between the program outcomes and its courses outcomes to improve the quality of program and hence the overall educational program. When a vast number of courses are considered, bad actions may be proposed, resulting in unwanted and incorrect decisions. In this paper, a recommender system, using collaborative filtering and association rules algorithms, is proposed for predicting the best relationship between the program outcomes and its courses in order to improve the attributes of the graduates. First, a parallel algorithm is used for Collaborative Filtering on Data Model, which is designed to increase the efficiency of processing big data. Then, a parallel similar learning outcomes discovery method based on matrix correlation is proposed by mining association rules. As a case study, the proposed recommender system is applied to the Computer Information Systems program, College of Computer Sciences and Information Technology, Al-Baha University, Saudi Arabia for helping Program Quality Administration improving the quality of program outcomes. The obtained results revealed that the suggested recommender system provides more actions for boosting Graduate Attributes quality.
The objectives of this study were to figure out the relationships of factors, e-quality, interactivity, trust and switching barrier, to affect the online customers loyalty. Moreover, e-quality was considered because of the problem of ssability originated from the environment that a lot of information and products are given at online business. This study employs a survey method to empirically test the proposed research model. A survey questionnaire was developed and 100 responses were collected. The data were analyzed using PLS method, a structural equation modeling method. The results of the study indicate that e-quality, interactivity, and trust influence switching barrier and that the switching barrier affects virtual relationship, which has an positive effect on loyalty. This study provides valuable theoretical and practical perspectives that e-quality is the most influential factor on virtual relationship and that, of the three factors of switching barrier, the virtual relationship is the most effective one to prevent customers online from changing their main online shop for products.
Objectives: The objective of this study was to build COD regression models for the Han River and evaluate water quality. Methods: Water quality data sets for the dry season (as of January) during a four-year period (2012-2015) were collected from the database of the Han River automatic water quality monitoring stations. Statistical techniques, including combined genetic algorithm-multiple linear regression (GA-MLR) were used to build five-descriptor COD models. Multivariate statistical techniques such as principal component analysis (PCA) and cluster analysis (CA) are useful tools for extracting meaningful information. Results: The $r^2$ of the best COD models provided significant high values (> 0.8) between 2012 and 2015. Total organic carbon (TOC) was a surrogate indicator for COD (as COD/TOC) with high reliability ($r^2=0.63$ in 2012, $r^2=0.75$ for 2013, $r^2=0.79$ for 2014 and $r^2=0.85$ for 2015). The ratios of COD/TOC were calculated as 2.08 in 2012, 1.79 in 2013, 1.52 and 1.45 in 2015, indicating that biodegradability in the water body of the Han River was being sustained, thereby further improving water quality. The BOD/COD ratio supported these findings. The cluster analysis revealed higher annual levels of microorganisms and phosphorous at stations along the Hangang-Seoul and Hantangang areas. Nevertheless, the overall water quality over the last four years showed an observable trend toward continuous improvement. These findings also suggest that non-point pollution control strategies should consider the influence of upstreams and downstreams to protect water quality in the Han River. Conclusion: This data analysis procedure provided an efficient and comprehensive tool to interpret complex water quality data matrices. Results from a trend analysis provided much important information about sources and parameters for Han River water quality management.
BACKGOUND/OBJECTIVES: This study investigated nutritional status of the elderly with dementia in a care facility with the aim of improving the meal quality of the facility. SUBJECTS/METHODS: Data were collected from 30 dementia patients aged more than 65 years in a long-term care facility in Hongseong. The data were obtained from questionnaires and medical records. The food intake data was obtained using food photographs and the nutrient intakes were calculated using the CAN-Pro 5.0. The data were compared with the dietary reference intakes for Koreans (KDRIs). The nutrient density, diet quality such as nutrient adequacy ratio (NAR), mean adequacy ratio (MAR), and index of nutritional quality (INQ), as well as dietary diversity score (DDS) were evaluated. The data were analyzed using SPSS statistical programs. RESULTS: The average daily energy intakes for men and women were much lower than the estimated energy requirements of the KDRIs. The average intakes of energy and most nutrients in the general diet group were significantly higher than those of the other two groups. Significant differences in diet quality and diet diversity were observed according to the meal type groups. The NARs of some minerals (calcium, iron, and zinc) and vitamins (vitamin $B_6$ and folic acid) were less than 0.5 in all study groups. The NARs of protein, iron and MAR of the general diet group were significantly higher than those of the liquid diet group. The DDS scores of meats, fruits and diary food group were very low in all meal type groups, meaning that the diet qualities of the study subjects were not appropriate in all meal type groups. CONCLUSIONS: The food intakes of the study groups showed some limitations by a direct comparison with KDRIs because of the very low physical activities of the study subjects. The diet quality and diet diversity indices suggest the need for improvements in the nutritional quality in all types of diet. Overall, new intervention strategies targeting facility residents with dementia in Korea are needed as soon as possible.
Background: The purpose of this study was to identify the differences in the importance of oral pathology learning objectives for instructors and clinical dental hygienists and provide basic data that can guide learning objectives for acquiring practically necessary basic knowledge in the clinical field. Methods: Through the first-stage expert meeting, 27 items with less than four points out of 129 learning objectives in 15 detailed areas were deleted, 12 additional opinions were reflected, 114 learning objectives were set, and a survey was conducted with 253 people. Results: There were statistically significant differences in 92 items after examining the difference between professors and clinical dental hygienists. Among the areas of inflammation and repair, "Can explain the five symptoms of inflammation" had the highest with a score at 4.76 in the case of the professors. Among the areas of tooth damage, "Can explain abrasion" had the highest with a score at 4.61 in the case of the clinical dental hygienists. Conclusion: I would like to propose the existing 15 detail areas and 129 learning objectives as 14 detail areas and 98 learning objectives and strengthen the job competency of dental hygienists in the future. First, you need to develop competencies that are highly relevant to your work. Second, it is necessary to develop related textbooks and educational materials based on revised learning objectives and competencies. Third, based on revised learning objectives, the dental hygienist national examination should be improved. Through these changes in education, the education of oral and maxillofacial disease subjects should strengthen job competencies among dental hygienists with learning objectives that can be applied to actual clinical practice based on basic knowledge rather than knowledge orientation. In addition, it is possible to improve the quality of dental hygiene studies.
1. Objectives : The aim of the present study was to describe the Korea Constitutional Multicenter Bank (KCMB), which was various clinical data bank for scientific advancement of constitutional diagnosis and treatment. 2. Methods and Results : The KCMB is based on the 28 multi-institute cooperative clinical research networks including domestic and international institute. Since the KCMB was founded in 2006, data have been accumulated from 10,412 subjects. The KCMB consists of three parts: The clinical constitutional data, the measurement data, and the biological data. The method of data entry is via web based electronic Case Report From (eCRF). The eCRF has been developed and programed to ensure the efficient entry of data. We also developed coding manual, ongoing quality control assessment to obtain high-quality data. 3. Conclusions : The KCMB with various data contribute to providing the scientification of Sasang Constitutional Medicine.
The purpose of this study was to develop an effective cost control model for university foodservice operations by analyzing student satisfaction, as well as foodservice income statements for operational characteristics. The specific objectives were to examine the satisfaction of students for various foodservice quality dimensions, to determine the financial activities performed in foodservice operations by operational type, to examine their income statement data, and lastly, to compare the student satisfaction for foodservice quality with the financial data of the income statements. A total of 545 students from one university answered a satisfaction survey. The one-year income statements of three union foodservices (self-operated, small-scale contracted, and large-scale contracted) at the same university were analyzed. The results showed that the self-operated union foodservice had lower student satisfaction scores and higher food and labor cost ratios. The small-scale contract management foodservice data indicated the highest student satisfaction scores and the lowest food and labor cost ratios. The large-scale contract management foodservice data showed medium scores when comparing the three union foodservice operations. Overall, by comparing the satisfaction scores and operational profits, the small-scale union foodservices showed the highest satisfaction scores and profit.
