This paper describes the simulation study which evaluates operation plans of container terminal. The operation plans of container terminal consist of berth plan, load plan, unload plan, yard plan, and equipment plan. It is discussed how to apply the simulation method to evaluate those plans that are interrelated with each other. This paper also deals with the assignment and coordination problems of container-handing equipment such as container cranes, transfer cranes, yard tractors, and trailers used in the transportation of containers. Simulation analysis is bases on data about plans from the operation planning system through an interface program. It is discussed what we should got the statistics about container-handing equipment in the simulation.

In this paper, we propose a two-stage group acceptance sampling plan for generalized inverted exponential distribution under truncated life test. Median life is considered as a quality parameter. Design parameters are obtained to ensure that true median life is longer than a given specified life at certain level of consumer's risk and producer's risk. We also explore situations under which design parameters based on median lifetime can be used for other percentile points. Tables and specific examples are reported to explain the proposed plans. Finally a real data set is analyzed to implement the plans in practical situations and some suggestions are given.

Four dimensional(4-D) trajectory modeling is conducted based on flight plan. The flight plan is divided into several segments which represent certain operating flight modes. Thrust, drag and fuel consumption rate of an aircraft are calculated using BADA provided by Eurocontrol. The trajectory is modeled with the rate of climb/descent calculated with Total-Energy Equation. The simulation results with a typical aircraft and its flight plan indicate that the trajectory modeled corresponds well with the suggested flight plan. The performance profiles including total endurance time and time history for speed, thrust, drag and fuel consumption were also appropriately generated.

Emergency preparedness plan(EPP) is the systematic management of activities that involve a material degree of risk of loss or other damage to the surroundings(people, property and environment), and the boundary of accident recovery plan(ARP). The main purpose of the program is to provide a safety management system to each facility in order to enable to prevent accident and to control accident immediately. The EPP includes not only typical safety-related documentations such as material safety data sheet(MSDS), standard operation procedure(SOP), emergency response plan(ERP). EPP is established basis of the preliminary safety analysis involving risk identification, assessment and prevention plans. The program is also helpful for government or related agencies to control a number of accidents in small-scale companies in the whole country.

As quality becomes a primary leading factor of organizational success, various management strategies have been introduced to improve quality competitiveness. Quality competitiveness, however, is difficult to measure and numerous organizations are struggling to set realistic improvement objectives. The primary purpose of this research is to propose a systematic approach to help the practitioners develop an improvement plan for their organizational quality competitiveness. This approach employs DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) to evaluate relative efficiency among companies which make efforts to improve their quality competitiveness. It presents an integer programming model to elicit an optimal improvement plan for meeting a target level. A decision support system is also developed for the managers to plan a sequential improvement plan based on both DEA model and the integer programming model.

Purpose: This study examined the socio-demographic and health factors affecting the quit-smoking plan in smoking seniors. Methods: Data were obtained from the Seventh Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (VII-1, VII-2, VII-3). The sample consisted of 369 smoking seniors. The complex sample was analyzed thought an independent t-test, Chi-square test, and multiple logistic regression. Results: The influential factors on the quit-smoking plan were daily smoking (OR=0.30, CI=0.11-0.78), age of start smoking (OR=1.06, CI=1.01-1.11), daily smoking amount (OR=0.95, CI=0.90-1.00), quit-smoking trial (OR=2.63, CI=1.32-5.23), and cognitive stress (OR=2.13, CI=1.01-4.54). Conclusion: This study revealed the variables that should be considered when setting up a smoking cessation plan for smoking seniors. Based on this, an elderly cessation intervention program can be developed.

This study compared and analyzed major policies and operational processes of countries that introduced the Renewable Energy Plan Site, through literature analysis of published governmet data, and previous research results. The procedures of the Renewable Energy Plan Site were classified into planned location designations, selection of power generation business operators, designation of the business' district and development and evaluating the factors derived for each procedure. Four contries were selected to be compared and analyzed, namely: Denmark, Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan. This was based on the criteria used to introduce and operate the Renewable Energy Plan Site, activate renewable energy supply and check the applicability of Korea's policies. It was analyzed that the priority of the planned location for the procedure was different for each country depending on the conditions there.

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the supply plan of public rental housing under the Lee Myung-bak government. According to the supply plan, the government will supply public rental housings by 80,000 unit every year from 2009 to 2018, and achieve 12% as stock ratio in 2018. To evaluate the supply plan, this study analyzed housing needs of tenants in private rental housing by using the raw data of Korea Welfare Panel Survey(2008). The results are as follows: (1) It is difficult for the supply plan to meet the housing needs of tenants in private rental housing. (2) The link between supply plan and stock ratio target is weak. (3) To meet the housing needs, it is necessary to supply public rental housings by 107,000 unit every year for 10 years, and, in this case, the stock ratio will be 10% in 2018. In conclusion, this study proposed that the supply plan of public rental housing should be redesigned.

본 논문에서는 플랜 정합과 프로그램 실행결과를 이용하여 초보자들의 C언어 프로그램을 이해하고 오류를 지적해 주는 프로그래밍 오류 분석시스템을제시하였다. 프로그램 실행 결과를 이용함으로써 프로그래밍 플랜간의 연관관계를 유연하게 표시할 수 있고, 플랜 정합의 차이점이 정확한지를 검증할 수 있게 해주며, 한 플랜의 오류가 연관된 타 플랜에 어떤 영향을 주었는지를 파악할 수 있게 해준다. 플랜 간의 연관관계에 따라 오류의 원인과 파급 효과를 지적하고 예제나 반례에 해당하는 사례를 구체적으로 제시하여, 사용자가 이해하기 쉽게 오류에 대한 설명을 제공한다. 14종의 다양하고 난이도 있는 실습예제에 대해 학생들이 작성한 프로그램에 있는 오류를 분석함으로써 안정되고 신뢰성 있는 오류분석 시스템임을 보여주고 있다.
