In this study, we propose an integrated CAD(Computer Aided Design) library database in a heterogeneous commercial ECAD(Electronic CAD) environment. To effectively solve engineering problems focused on BOM data extraction we use a software system called schematic capture and company-wide standard electronic part information loaded on different commercial ECADs. We unify many commercial ECADs into one schematic capture and a variety of PCB(Printed Circuit Board) design tools. For this purpose we develope a model for linking CAD symbol library with company-wide standard part information. We also develope a schematic design data conversion scheme and show how to extract PBA level BOM data using our customized schematic capture. This system is being operated in an X-Window based engineering work station and commercial RDBMS base.

도서관 환경에서 전자정보가 점차 중요한 위치를 차지하면서 정보의 성격과 그를 담아내는 정보매체의 기술적 요소들이 새롭게 조명되고 있다. 이 글에서는 디지털 도서관이 개발되고 하이퍼미디어 정보 환경의 특성을 이론적으로 정리하고, 멀티미디어 데이터의 응용에 필요한 관련 기술과 표준안들을 덱스트와 비텍스트 정보유형으로 나누어 구체적으로 살펴본다. 새로운 환경인 디지털 도서관의 도서관 실무자와 연구자 모두에게 시급히 요구되는 전문적 과정과 역할을 기술하고 있다.

본 연구는 선진국의 국가대표도서관에서 이루어지고 있는 서지통정 조직 및 운영 사례를 분석하여 국립중앙도서관이 국가서지정보센터로서의 역할을 수행하기 위한 이론적 근거를 마련하고 서지통정을 강화시키는 방안을 제안하였다. 먼저 문헌 연구에서 국립도서관의 정의와 역할, 서지통정의 개념과 기능에 대해 알아보았고 사례조사에서는 미의회도서관, 영국 국립도서관, 일본 국립국회도서관, 덴마크 왕립도서관, 한국의 국립중앙도서관에서 현재 운영 중인 서지 통정 관련 부서의 운영 방안과 주요 업무를 분석하였다. 국립중앙도서관의 서지통정 기능을 강화하기 위한 방안으로 첫째, 독립적인 서지통정 전담 부서의 설치, 둘째 서지데이터의 고품질화 및 유관 기관과의 협력 체제 강화, 셋째, 서지통정의 제반 연구 기능의 강화를 제시하였다.

최근 정부 3.0 정책에 따라 공공데이터가 대량으로 공개되고 있고, 이를 활용한 제품을 개발하여 창업에 성공하거나 일상생활에 필요한 앱을 개발하고 국민의 편의성을 증가시키는 앱 등이 수없이 개발되어 활용되고 있는 실정이다. 도서관도 공공의 영역으로서 정부 3.0 정책에 따라 데이터를 개방하고 데이터를 활용한 다양한 응용이 나와야 할 시점이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 정부 3.0에 대한 도서관 사서의 인식을 조사하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전문도서관, 대학도서관의 사서들을 대상으로 인식조사를 한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사서들의 정부 3.0에 대한 인지도는 3.6 정도로 평균 이상이지만 추진과제에 대해서는 3.0 정도로 나타났다. 둘째, 정부 3.0 정책이 도서관에 미치는 영향에 대해서 영향을 미칠 것이라고 응답한 비율은 43.65%로 그렇지 않다는 7.14%보다 6배 정도 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 정부 3.0 정책에 의해 개방된 공공데이터를 도서관에서 효과적으로 활용할 수 있는 방법으로 공개된 공공데이터를 분야별로 정리하여 이용자에게 제공, 공개된 공공데이터를 테마별로 활용할 수 있도록 교육, 공공데이터 개방에 따른 개인정보보호관련 이용자 교육 순으로 나타났다. 넷째, 정부에 의해 공개된 공공데이터가 이용자와 도서관의 역할 변화 및 이미지 개선에 도움이 될 것이라는 것에 60% 정도가 동의했고, 오직 2.38%만이 그렇지 않을 것이라고 응답하였다.

In the vibrant environment, documentation and managing systems are maintained autonomously through education foundations, book materials and libraries at the same time as information are not voluntarily accessible in a centralized location. At the moment Libraries are providing online resources and services for education activities. Moreover, libraries are applying outlets of social media such as Facebook as well as Instagrams to preview their services and procedures. Librarians with the assistance of promising tools and technology like analytics software are capable to accumulate more online information, analyse them for incorporating worth to their services. Thus Libraries can employ big data to construct enhanced decisions concerning collection developments, updating public spaces and tracking the purpose of library book materials. Big data is being produced due to library digitations and this has forced restrictions to academicians, researchers and policy creator's efforts in enhancing the quality and effectiveness. Accordingly, helping the library clients with research articles and book materials that are in line with the users interest is a big challenge and dispute based on Taibah university in Saudi Arabia. The issues of this domain brings the numerous sources of data from various institutions and sources into single place in real time which can be time consuming. The most important aim is to reduce the time that lapses among the authentic book reading and searching the specific study material.

본 연구의 목적은 도서관 이용자의 도서관 내부 공간 이용행태를 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 도서관 이용률을 높이기 위한 방안을 제안하는데 있다. 도서관 이용자들의 스마트폰 와이파이 신호를 이용하여 도서관 내부 공간에서의 이동 패턴을 분석하였다. 서울 소재 공공도서관을 연구 대상으로 선정하고 와이파이 수신기를 설치하였다. 2016년 9월부터 12월까지 데이터를 수집하였고 분석결과를 바탕으로 도서관 이용률 향상을 위해 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 도서관 공간 중에서 한 공간만을 이용하는 이용자는 전체 중에서 27.17%로 나타났고 이들 중에서 28.69%는 1층 로비에서 도서반납만을 한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 이용자들의 도서반납 편의성을 위한 방안 마련이 요구된다. 또한 도서관 문화프로그램과 서가 공간의 연계성이 낮다는 점에서 도서를 연계한 프로그램의 개선이 필요하다.

This study starts off by stating that the lack of awareness in the importance of reasonable and systematized layout in management facility is essentially working against building a quality public library. And that there is a merit in studying the spatial elements, its density, amount of needed space, and the likes to efficiently deal with present workings of the library which are becoming more dynamic and complicated. This paper seeks to embark on this study and also to provide a foundational data for research on management facility of the public library. The paper bases its research on 10 public libraries which are located in Seoul City and in Gyeonggi province, and are built after the year 2000. The paper focuses on the spatial distribution by section and allotment of management facility space in the library. Consequently, to find solutions or to suggest improvements on problems encountered, the paper introduces Japan's cases (4 recently-built public libraries) as a foreign case study. With foregoing domestic and foreign library case analyses, and the survey results of managerial staffs' demands, the paper seeks to provide basic data about management facility space and its floorplan of the public library. The paper bases its research on pubic libraries' management facilities, and expects to contribute to the efficient building of the public library in the future.

본 연구는 문헌정보학 분야에서 지리정보시스템을 어떻게 활용할 수 있는지에 대해 미국 플로리다주 Lake 카운티 도서관 이용자 정보를 이용하여 논의하였다. GIS의 다양한 기능 중에서 지오코딩, Thiessen 다각형, 밀집도, 버퍼, 이동거리의 측정 등의 툴들을 이용하여 도서관 이용자 정보를 분석하였다. 분석결과, 도서관 이용자의 위치나 분포형태에 대한 이해를 얻을 수 있었고 도서관 서비스 지역을 설정함으로써 도서관 서비스 계획수립을 위한 토대를 마련할 수 있었다. 또한 Thiessen 다각형이나 버퍼를 통해 이동거리가 도서관 이용에 미치는 영향을 분석함과 동시에 보다 현실적인 도서관 이용자의 이동거리를 측정하는 방법을 제시하였다.

본 연구에서는 법학 분야의 효율적인 장서구성을 위해 S 대학 법학도서관의 2018년 1년 동안의 대출데이터를 분석하고 소장단행본이 실제로 교육과 연구에 이용되고 있는지를 분석하였다. 먼저 S 대학 도서관리 시스템인 Alma 시스템으로부터 1년 동안 대출된 단행본에 대하여 주제별, 언어별, 출판 연도별로 분석하여 이용자의 패턴을 분석하였다. 이어서 실제로 S 대학 강의계획서에 나타난 단행본을 법학도서관이 얼마나 많이 소장하고 있는지를 분석하였으며 S 대학 연구자들이 연구한 논문에 인용된 단행본을 도서관에서 얼마나 소장하고 있는지를 분석하였다. 이런 연구결과는 법학전문도서관으로서의 장서구성의 기준을 수립하는 기초 자료로 활용해 볼 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

The necessity of computerizing the Central National Library of Korea has been widely recognized. The purpose of this research is to develop Korean Machine Readable Cataloging system as a first step toward an integrated library system and suggests the ways of utilizing the MARC file in Korean libraries as well as in the Central National Library. In this paper the following studies are included: 1. An analysis of the functions and current procedures of the Central National Library 2. Development of a standard record format for KOR MARC 3. Production and utilization of KOR MARC files 4. Identification of problems in developing KOR MARC system In conclusion, the following recommendations are made: 1. Standardization of the internal code and input/output equipments should be proceded for hangul and chinese data processing. 2. The libraries planning or having accomplished computerization process should be cooperative in standardizing and distributing bibliographic data bases including KOR MARC tapes. 3. Training of competent librarians and strong support from the government are required for a successful implementation of the Library's computerization project.
