In this paper, the physical properties of actual fabric data are predicted using the Cusick drape system, which is a means of measuring the physical properties of fabrics. Using a three-dimensional volumetric system, the cloth data of the actual Cusick drape system is acquired in a three-dimensional point cloud format. Cusick drape simulation is performed using mesh data of the same shape and size as the fabric, and the physical parameters of the draped fabric most similar to the actual draped fabric are acquired.

As companies specialize, they use more modern applications, but they still rely on legacy systems and data access is limited by data silos. In this paper, we propose the Fabricator system, a design system for metadata based on Data Fabric that plays a key role in the data orchestration layer consisting of three layers: Sources Engine, Workload Builder, and Data Fabric Ingestion, thereby achieving meaningful integration of data and information. Provides useful insights to users through conversion. This allows businesses to efficiently access and utilize data, overcoming the limitations of legacy systems.
The role of fabric now directly related with the expression of the beauty of clothing and it provides new and creative ideas. This study was aimed at reviewing basic data that can be used in systematic design development through fabric expression for today's fashion designers who must study unique, original fashion design development. For systematic development of design technique through fabric expression, fabric expression methods and characteristics, aesthetic characteristics and fabric design of 'art to wear' were reviewed and the results are as follows. First, the highly wrought fabric expression of art to wear was confirmed to be comprehending a message within itself. Second, aesthetic characteristics of fabric expression used in art to wear can be classified as decorativeness, extensity, 2-D pictorialness, handicraft, compounding and rearrangement, and 3-D characteristics. Third, the 6 aesthetic characteristics have unique design features and aesthetic categories. The understanding the fabric expression techniques through study on the classification of the fabric expression in 'art to wear' is expected to be extended to proposition of creative direction and inspiration of modern fashion.
In this paper, a novel method for analyzing a textile fabric structure is proposed to segment each yarn of the textile fabric from voxel data made out of its X-ray computed tomography (CT) images. In order to segment the each yarn, directions of fibers, of which yarn consists, are firstly estimated by correlating the voxel with a fiber model. Second, each fiber is reconstructed by clustering the voxel of the fiber using the estimated fiber direction as a similarity. Then, each yarn is reconstructed by clustering the reconstructed fibers using a distance which is newly defined as a dissimilarity. Consequently, each yarn of the textile fabric is segmented from the voxel data. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed by experimentally applying the method to voxel data of a sample plain woven fabric, which is made of polyester two folded yarn. The each two folded yarn is correctly segmented by the proposed method.

Health information systems (HIS) are facing security challenges on data privacy and confidentiality. These challenges are based on centralized system architecture creating a target for malicious attacks. Blockchain technology has emerged as a trending technology with the potential to improve data security. Despite the effectiveness of this technology, still HIS are suffering from a lack of data privacy and confidentiality. This paper presents a blockchain-based data storage security architecture integrated with an e-Health care system to improve its security. The study employed a qualitative research method where data were collected using interviews and document analysis. Execute-order-validate Fabric's storage security architecture was implemented through private data collection, which is the combination of the actual private data stored in a private state, and a hash of that private data to guarantee data privacy. The key findings of this research show that data privacy and confidentiality are attained through a private data policy. Network peers are decentralized with blockchain only for hash storage to avoid storage challenges. Cost-effectiveness is achieved through data storage within a database of a Hyperledger Fabric. The overall performance of Fabric is higher than Ethereum. Ethereum's low performance is due to its execute-validate architecture which has high computation power with transaction inconsistencies. E-Health care system administrators should be trained and engaged with blockchain architectural designs for health data storage security. Health policymakers should be aware of blockchain technology and make use of the findings. The scientific contribution of this study is based on; cost-effectiveness of secured data storage, the use of hashes of network data stored in each node, and low energy consumption of Fabric leading to high performance.
There are many CAD commercial systems such as fabric design CAD for fabric designers and pattern design CAD including visual wearing system for garment designers. But there is no fabric design system for weaving factory, so the data base system related to the fabric design for weaving factory is needed. Therefore, in this study, as a preliminary study of the data base system for fabric design, easy decision of warp and weft densities according to the various yarn count, weave constructions and materials were surveyed through analysis of design plan for nylon and polyester fabrics from wearing factories.

For identifying how a sample knit fabric is woven a method to obtain positional information of each yarn of the sample from voxel data made out of its x-ray CT images is newly proposed in this paper. The positional information is obtained by tracing the each yarn. The each yarn is traced by estimating a direction of the yarn in a certain small region in which the yarn can be regarded as straight and moving the region slightly along the estimated direction alternately. The yarn direction is estimated by correlating the voxel data in the region with a three-dimensional yarn model. The effectiveness of this method is confirmed by applying the method to voxel data made out of CT images of a knit fabric experimentally.

Classifying clothing fabrics into fashion images lacks research, but is necessary due to the short cycle of fashion and rapidly changing modern trends as consumers seek to satisfy various needs with an increase of online purchases. There is also a lack of research on fashion trend books which attach real fabrics. Therefore, this study aims to help the planning field by recognizing fabric sensibility related to the fabric image perceived by consumers. The data analysis results from descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS are as follows: Differences in the visual tactility evaluation related to the consumer recognized fabric images showed more significant differences in F/W seasons. The elegance image was shown as relatively thick, the avant-garde image was shown as relatively heavy, thick fabric. The feminine image was shown as relatively thin and smooth fabric, the sporty images were shown to be moist, flexible and elastic, and the mannish images were relatively rough. The romantic images were shown as relatively thin fabrics. The conclusions inferred from the visual tactile evaluation related to the fabric images recognized by consumers vary by major, so the prior information concerning fabrics and trends can affect the selection of images. The results of this study show that in order to produce clothes suitable for fashion product planning by learning about visual tactility that consumers recognize, fabrics component data displayed in fashion trend books from 2016 to 2018 are needed, so the planner can receive help when selecting the fabrics suitable for each trend.
The algorithm developed in this paper allows us to generate or synthesize a large amount of data sets using only a small amount of signal features obtained from the original data set. Because the simulated density profiles of yarns retain the original features without a significant loss of information on the location of imperfections, the resulting fabric images are likely to resemble the original images. The data expansion system developed could generate a large area of fabric images by combining the Monte Carlo simulation and the wavelet sub-band exchange algorithm developed. The system has proven effective for simulating realistic fabric images by retaining the location of imperfections such as neps, thin and thick places.

This study presents a conductivity measurement technique that is applicable at radio frequencies (RF). Of particular interest is the measurement of the RF conductivity of a flexible Zell fabric, which is often used to implement wearable antennas on clothes. First, the transmission coefficient is measured using a planar microstrip ring resonator, where the ring is made of a Zell fabric. Then, the fabric's conductivity is determined by comparing the measured transmission coefficient to a set of simulation data. Specifically, a MATLAB-based root-searching algorithm is used to find the minimum of an error function composed of measured and simulation data. Several error functions have been tested, and the results showed that an error function employing only the magnitude of the transmission coefficient was the best for determining the conductivity. The effectiveness of this technique is verified by the measurement of a known copper foil before characterizing the Zell fabric. The conductivity of the Zell fabric at 2 GHz appears to be within the order of $10^4S/m$, which is lower than the DC conductivity of $5{\times}10^5S/m$.
