  • E-commerce and business information systems are being introduced in most of enterprises with the development of internet recently. Meanwhile the introduction of enterprise portal concepts and the enterprise informatization provide a necessary premise for insuring a competitive power. Therefore, it became necessary to research on the project of reusing the data of e-commerce. In this paper, we make a domestic maker the subject and implement a XML based electronic catalog(e-catalog) system for electronic commerce(e-commerce) based on web. The implemented XML based e-catalog system can reduce time and expenses needed for making, keeping and distribution in paper catalog systems. It also can correct the data reuse problems in the e-catalog systems implemented by HTML. Exchanging and reusing data used in e-commerce is essential to the integration between business information systems and points to the enterprise portal.

  • In this paper, we study the domain-independent sensor data structuring method and the derivations about ' Filter Criteria' expansion factors of heterogeneous domain systems. For this purpose, we propose a 5W1H based information search and retrieval method without knowledges about the target domains. And we also suggest a resource management model that can support expanding search of information. By the suggested method, the oneM2M standard able to implement the use-cases like 'data exchanging between the heterogeneous domains'.

  • Data augmentation has been helpful in improving the performance in deep learning, when we have a limited data and random erasing is one of the augmentations that have shown impressive performance in deep learning in multiple domains. But the main issue is that sometime it loses good features when randomly selected region is erased by some random values, that does not improve performance as it should. We target that problem in way that good features should not be lost and also want random erasing at the same time. For that purpose, we introduce new augmentation technique named Intra-Class Random Erasing (ICRE) that focuses on data to learn robust features of the same class samples by randomly exchanging randomly selected region. We perform multiple experiments by using different models including resnet18, VGG16 over variety of the datasets including ESC10, UrbanSound8K. Our approach has shown effectiveness over others methods including random erasing.

  • ROK Forces operate Link-11, Link-16 and Korean Tactical Data Link System with Link-K(JTDLS: Joint Tactical Data Link System). As the change from Link-11 to Link-22 approaches, in the JTDLS Completed Business will be added tactical data link processing such as Link-22. In this paper, we propose the data management structure for data from multiple tactical data links. Also, we simulate to find ways to process a lot of data quickly using Shared Memory, In-Memory DB, Self Development DB in DLP, and then we confirm the result.

  • Today's manufacturing environment is becoming a distributed manufacturing process in which a unique and specialized technological background is required in specific domains rather than having a single company execute all the manufacturing processes. This phenomenon is especially true in the automotive industry, where the sharing of product data between companies is rampant; however, this kind of interoperability causes many problems. When each company has its own method of managing product data, the sharing of product data in a distributed environment is a major problem. A data translator module or a data mapping module had to be developed for the exchange of data in heterogeneous systems of product data management (PDM); moreover, this type of module must be continually changed and improved due to the fact that PDM systems change for many reasons. In addition, the growth in corporate partnerships deepens the burden of developing and maintaining this module and creates further data exchange problems due to the increasing complexity of the system. This paper introduces a way of exchanging product data among heterogeneous PDM systems through the use of OpenPDM, which is a kind of virtual data warehouse. The implementation of a PDM integrating system is also discussed with respect to the requirement for a logical integration of product data which are physically distributed.

  • In this paper, we propose XMDR(XML Metadata Registry) to guarantee the interoperability of data in distributed database, and describe a data synchronizing agent system using it. The proposal of XMDR is to solve the data heterogeneity problem in the sharing and exchanging data. Data heterogeneity problem is generated by different definition or mismatching expression of the same information. Therefore, we define XMDR with XML document by analyzing data elements based on MDR specification. The proposed synchronizing agent system using XMDR not only solves data heterogeneity for data interoperability in synchronizing data but also provides more efficient the agent system by offering errors of low frequency in the number of systems and requests of synchronizing data.

  • The need for reusing synthetic environment data that are employed in the field of modeling and simulation has recently been rising. SEDRIS (Synthetic Environment Data Representation & Interchange Specification) is a standard to exchange synthetic environment data, and is the specification utilized in various military simulations of the Pentagon for representing and exchanging 3D data. SEDRIS represents environmental areas based on a data model; it can represent wind speed, wind directions, weather changes, the information of buildings, as well as terrain data. In some situations, however, the synthetic environment data stored in SEDRIS format should be converted to various visualization formats. First, because SEDRIS is a form of a super-set, it is necessary to verify whether large scale SEDRIS files are stored successfully through visualization. Second, the synthetic environment data should be visualized in some visualization programs for the simulation results to provide an immersive and realistic sense. In this study, we have developed converters for converting SEDRIS data to various visualization formats and visualized the converted results.

  • Internet of Things (IoT) connects several objects with embedded sensors and they are capable of exchanging information between devices to create a smart environment. IoT smart devices have limited resources, such as batteries, computing power, and bandwidth, but comprehensive sensing causes severe energy restrictions, lowering data quality. The main objective of the proposal is to build a hybrid protocol which provides high data quality and reduced energy consumption in IoT sensor network. The hybrid protocol gives a flexible and complete solution for sensor selection problem. It selects a subset of active sensor nodes in the network which will increase the data quality and optimize the energy consumption. Since the unused sensor nodes switch off during the sensing phase, the energy consumption is greatly reduced. The hybrid protocol uses Dijkstra's algorithm for determining the shortest path for sensing data and Ant colony inspired variable path selection algorithm for selecting active nodes in the network. The missing data due to inactive sensor nodes is reconstructed using enhanced belief propagation algorithm. The proposed hybrid method is evaluated using real sensor data and the demonstrated results show significant improvement in energy consumption, data utility and data reconstruction rate compared to other existing methods.

  • Mapping is a fundamental element for robotic services. There are available many types of map data representation such as grid map, metric map, topology map, etc. As more robots are deployed for services, more chances of exchanging map data among the robots emerge and standardization of map data representation (MDR) becomes more valuable. Currently, activities in developing MDR standard are underway in IEEE Robotics and Automation Society. The MDR standard is for a common representation and encoding of the two-dimensional map data used for navigation by mobile robots. The standard focuses on interchange of map data among components and systems, particularly those that may be supplied by different vendors. This paper aims to introduce MDR standard and its application to map merging. We have applied the basic structure of the MDR standard to a grid map and Voronoi graph as a kind of topology map and performed map merging between two different maps. Simulation results show that the proposed MDR is suitable for map data exchange among robots.

  • For the success to PLM in manufacturing industries, the creation, management and coordination of all product-related information are essential, and the exchange of product information and data has become an important part of the product development. In this paper, we define the neutral schema, and it refers to PLM Services. Based on this neutral schema, we develop the PLM Integrator to exchange product information and data between diverse heterogeneous systems including PDM systems. We apply the PLM Integrator developed in this paper to commercial PDM systems such as SmarTeam, Teamcenter Engineering and MEMPHIS which is a data exchange middleware system for VR applications. By implementations, exchanges of product information and data can be done without loss of information. Also, the PLM Integrator can upload and download product information, data and related files. The result of this paper can not only reduce unnecessary efforts for data exchanging between different information systems including PDM/PLM systems but also provide a collaborative environment for PLM.
