  • We are presented of several basic properties for negatively superadditive dependent(NSD) random variables. By using this concept we are obtained complete convergence for maximum partial sums of rowwise NSD random variables. These results obtained in this paper generalize a corresponding ones for independent random variables and negatively associated random variables.

우리나라 강우 자료를 이용한 FORGEX 기법의 공간상관식 개발 (Development of spatial dependence formula of FORGEX method using rainfall data in Korea)

  • 영국에서는 지역구분이 필요없고 상대적으로 긴 재현기간에 대해서도 안정적인 확률강우량 추정이 가능한 FORGEX (Focused Rainfall Growth Extension) 기법을 개발하여 강우자료의 지역빈도해석을 수행하고 있으며, 지역빈도해석에 적합한 모집단 성장곡선으로부터 네트워크 최대값(network maximum, netmax) 자료의 분포위치를 고려하기 위하여 영국 강우자료를 이용한 공간상관식(ln $N_e$)을 유도하였다. 이런 이유로 영국에서 개발된 공간상관식을 우리나라에 적용할 경우 부정확한 확률강우량을 산정하는 문제점이 발생한다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 본 연구에서는 우리나라 기상청 산하 유인관측소 지점 중 30년 이상의 긴 강우자료를 보유한 64개 지점의 강우자료를 이용하여 공간상관식을 유도하였다. 지점 간의 합리적인 비교를 위해 1973년부터 2014까지를 기준기간(reference period)으로 정하였고, 강우지속시간, 지점 수, 네트워크 면적 등 3가지 변수를 고려하여 공간상관식을 유도하였다. 유도된 공간상관식을 FORGEX 기법에 적용하여 지역빈도해석을 수행하였고, 기존의 영국식을 이용하여 산정한 확률강우량 값과 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과 우리나라 강우자료를 이용하여 새롭게 유도한 공간상관식은 기존의 영국식 보다 정확한 것으로 나타났고, 이를 FORGEX 기법에 적용한 결과 영국 공간상관식은 새롭게 개발한 공간상관식보다 확률강우량을 과소 추정하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구를 통하여 기존 FORGEX 기법에서 내포하고 있는 부정확성을 보완할 수 있고, 긴 재현기간에 대한 확률강우량을 보다 정확하게 추정할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

Locality-Conscious Nested-Loops Parallelization

  • To speed up data-intensive programs, two complementary techniques, namely nested loops parallelization and data locality optimization, should be considered. Effective parallelization techniques distribute the computation and necessary data across different processors, whereas data locality places data on the same processor. Therefore, locality and parallelization may demand different loop transformations. As such, an integrated approach that combines these two can generate much better results than each individual approach. This paper proposes a unified approach that integrates these two techniques to obtain an appropriate loop transformation. Applying this transformation results in coarse grain parallelism through exploiting the largest possible groups of outer permutable loops in addition to data locality through dependence satisfaction at inner loops. These groups can be further tiled to improve data locality through exploiting data reuse in multiple dimensions.

필지내 벼 수량의 공간변이 해석 (Spatial Variability Analysis of Paddy Rice Yield in Field)

  • 논 포장에 있어서 벼 수량의 연차별 공간변이를 살펴보기 위해 포장면적, 조사 년도, 조사방법 및 재배품종 등이 각각 다른 안성포장, 수원포장, 쿄토포장에서 수집된 수량정보를 이용하여 기술통계와 함께 공간통계학적 개념을 도입하여 해석한 결과 아래와 같은 결과를 얻었다. (1) 포장면적, 조사 년도, 조사방법 그리고 품종에 따라 한 필지의 포장 내 수량분포는 100-946 kg/10a의 큰 변이를 보였고, 최대수량과 최소수량의 차이는 272-653 kg/10a를 보였으며, 변이계수는 5.9-22.4%의 큰 공간변이를 보였다. (2) 수량빈도 분포로부터 보면 약 90 % 이상의 수량이 10 a당 350-850kg의 수량범위를 나타내었다. 이 결과에 따르면 4조식 콤바인의 평균 작업속도를 0.8 m/s로 가정하고 평균수량이 350-850kg/10a이라고 한다면, 수확량 모니터링 시스템 개발에 있어서 초당 곡립유량은 0.34-0.82kg으로 산정 되므로 곡물유량센서를 개발함에 있어서 이 수량범위를 작동범위에 포함시켜야 할 것으로 판단되었다. (3) 수량정보의 공간의존성 해석결과에 의하면 수량의 공간구조를 나타내는 Q값은 0.20-0.97이며, 그 의존거리를 표시하는 범위는 6.9-53.3m로 나타났다. 따라서, 이 시험결과에 의하면 수량정보의 이론적인 샘플링 간격은 6.9 m 이내가 적정하다고 판단되었다. (4) 논 포장에 있어서 유사한 포장관리를 함에도 불구하고 수량의 연차별 차이가 발생하는 또 다른 주원인은 연차별 기상조건과 병$.$해충 발생 정도로 생각되며, 정밀농업을 논 포장에 적용함에 있어서 포장정보 외의 이러한 외적인 정보들도 데이터베이스화할 필요성이 있었다.

인형 모의피폭체내 MOSFET 선량계의 에너지 및 방향 의존도를 고려하기 위한 선량보정인자 결정 (Determination of Dose Correction Factor for Energy and Directional Dependence of the MOSFET Dosimeter in an Anthropomorphic Phantom)

  • 최근 방사선 치료 및 진단 분야에서 선량 측정을 위하여 다양하게 사용되고 있는 MOSFET 선량계는 검출부위가 실리콘으로 이루어져 있으며 다른 검출기들과 마찬가지로 어느 정도의 에너지 의존도와 방향 의존도를 보인다. 따라서 MOSFET 선량제가 공기 중이 아닌 모의피폭체 내에서 선량 측정에 사용될 경우 낮은 에너지를 갖는 산란 광자 등 이차 광자들로 인하여 선량을 실제보다. 높게 평가하게 된다. 본 연구에서는 MOSFET 선량계의 에너지 의존도와 방향 의존도로 인하여 발생하는 오차를 보정하기 위한 선량보정인자를 몬테카를로 전산모사 기법을 이용하여 계산하였다. 먼저 사용되는 인형 모의 피폭체의 체적소 모의피폭체(Voxel Phanom)를 CT 영상을 이용하여 제작하였으며 제작된 체적소 모의 피폭체를 몬테카를로 전산코드로 구현한 후, 모의피폭체 내 각 선량계 지점에서 입사하는 광자의 에너지 및 방향별 에너지 스펙트럼을 계산하였다. 각각의 선량계 지점에서 0.662 MeV와 1.25 MeV의 광자빔을 고려하였으며 또한 MOSFET 선량계의 방향은 실리콘 베이스 방향과 에폭시 방향을 고려하였다. 주어진 선량제 지점에서의 선량보정인자는 계산된 에너지 의존도들의 중간간을 이용하여 결정하였으며 이렇게 결정된 각 선량계 지점에서 선량보정인자는 0.89-0.97 범위의 값들을 나타내었다. 본 연구결과에 따르면 MOSFET 선량계를 이용하여 인형 모의피폭체 내에 선량을 측정할 때 에너지 의존도와 방향 의존도를 고려하지 않을 경우 측정 위치에 따라 $3{\sim}11%$ 정도의 측정오차가 발생할 수 있다. 그러므로 인형 모의피폭체 내의 선량을 정확하게 측정하기 위해서는 선량보정인자를 각 선량계에 필히 적용해주어야 한다.

감사인의 데이터 분석 기법 채택에 영향을 미치는 요인 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Selection on Data Analytics by Auditor)

  • As the dependence on information systems in enterprises has grown dramatically, the importance of implementing information systems in audit has been increased as well. However, there is a lact of about utilization of information system for audit process. Thus, this study is to investigate the factors that effect auditor's adopting Data Analytics to audit work. Through literature research and focus group interview, we added two factors that affect the behavioral intention to UTAUT model. We have selected performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, facilitating conditions, anxiety, task fit, behavioral intention as variables and verified hypotheses based on survey questionnaires from auditors. As a result, it was found that performance expectations, social influence, task fit influenced the behavior intention. In Addition, we analyzed adding two variables, IT-related work experience and type of auditor as moderate variable. This study has an implication for companies to motivate implementation as well as activation of Data Analytics technique.

Dependence of solar proton events on their associated activities: CME parameters

  • In this study we have examined the occurrence probability of solar proton events (SEPs) and their peak fluxes depending two CME parameters, linear speed and angular width. For this we used the NOAA SPE events and their associated CME data from 1997 to 2006. As a result, the probability strongly depends on two parameters as follows. In the case of halo CME whose speed is equal to and faster than 1500km/s, 36.1% are associated with SPEs but in the case of partial halo CME ($120^{\circ}{\leq}AW$ < $359^{\circ}$) whose speed is $400{\leq}V$ < $1000km/s$, only 0.9% are associated with SPEs. When we consider only front-side CMEs, 45.3% are associated with SPEs in the first case and 1.8% are associated with them in the second case. Both of whole CME data group and front-side CME data group have similar tendencies. The probabilities are different as much as 4.9 to 23 times according to the CME speed and 1.6 to 6.5 times to the angular width. We have also examined the relationship between CME speed and proton peak flux as well as its dependence on angular width (partial halo CME and halo CME), longitude (east, center, and west) and direction parameter (< 0.4 and {\geq} 0.4). Our results show that the relationships strongly depend on longitude as well as direction parameter. In addition, the relationship using the radial CME speed based on a cone model has a higher correlation coefficient than that using the projected CME speed.

Research on Spatial Dependence and Influencing Factors of Korean Intra-Industry Trade of Agricultural Products: From South Korea's Agricultural Trade Data

  • Purpose - Intra-industry trade of agricultural products can eliminate the disadvantage of Korea's traditional agriculture and improve its lack of comparative advantage. The main purpose of this paper is to measure the level and index of intra-industry trade of Korean agricultural products and to explore the spatial dependence and spillover effect associated with this type of trade. The main factors influencing intra-agricultural trade are analyzed from two perspectives: the population and the classification of agricultural products. Design/methodology - First, the level of intra-industry trade of Korean agricultural products is measured. Second, to obtain a more accurate estimate of the influence of various factors, and based on two types of weight matrices, a spatial econometric model is constructed from two aspects: population and classification of agricultural products. The status and the factors influencing intra-industry trade are also studied. Findings - It is concluded that there is a positive spatial correlation between Korea's intra-industry trade in agricultural products and that of its trading partners. The spatial spillover effect of this type of trade is verified by using the spatial autoregressive model (SAR). Labor-intensive agricultural products are found to have a positive spillover effect on intra-industry trade, while land-intensive products do not have a significant effect. Originality/value - In this paper, the two types of agricultural products are meticulously distinguished, and the spatial effect of the intra-industry trade of agricultural products as well as the influence of various factors are analyzed. In addition, the accuracy of the estimation of the coefficients of the factors by using the spatial econometric model is higher than that of the ordinary panel data model.

일 농촌지역 성인흡연자의 금연변화단계별 니코틴의존도, 흡연태도, 및 주관적 규범 (Nicotine Dependence, Smoking-related Attitude, and Subjective Norms across the Stages of Change for Smoking Cessation among Adults Smokers in a Rural Area)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify nicotine dependence, smoking-related attitude, and subjective norms across the stages of change for smoking cessation among adult smokers in a rural area. Method: The subjects were 276 current smokers (male=243, female=33). There were 3 stages of change for smoking cessation: pre-contemplation, contemplation, and preparation stage. Data was collected by an interview or self-reporting from February 12th to March 5th 2004, and analyzed with frequency, percentage, $X^2-test$, Fisher's exact probability test, ANOVA, and Scheffe test using the SPSS-PC program. Result: According to the stages of change, 114(41.3%) current smokers were in pre-contemplation, 110(39.9%) in contemplation, and 52(18.8%) in the preparation stage. There was a higher percentage of males than females ($X^2-test$=8.99, p=.011) in the preparation stage. The mean score of the smoking-related attitude (F:7.43, p=.001) and subjective norm(F=27.41, p=.001) were both lowest in the pre-contemplation stage and increased positively during the stages of change for smoking cessation. Conclusion: Based on these findings, the authors recommend that community-based smoking cessation programs should be developed by considering the intention or motives of current smokers and should be initiated in the preparation stage and primarily for male groups.
