역경계요소법에 근거한 근접 음향 홀로그래피에서 강체 산란체의 이용 (Use of Rigid Scattering Body in the use of NAH based on the inverse BEM)

  • The NAH based on the inverse BEM is used to reconstruct the source field, which is advantageous in dealing with the irregular source. In the implementation of this technique, a large number of pressure measurements is required because an over-determined pressure data set is required. These conditions accordingly cause the increase of measurement time and associated effort along with the error due to mal-positioning. The purpose of this study is to reduce such inconveniences: Instead of increasing the number of field pressure data, the number of transfer paths between the source and the receiver is increased by placing rigid scattering body in-between the source and receiver. For validating the usefulness and effectiveness of the method, the numerical analyses of interior problem are demonstrated. As a result, it is thought that the proposed method enables the measurement at smaller number of sensor positions and the monitoring of surface vibration with less experimental effects than before.

공개소프트웨어 서비스 평가모델(BSEM)에 관한 개념적 연구 (Behavior-Structure-Evolution Evaluation Model(BSEM) for Open Source Software Service)

  • Purpose - Open source software has high utilization in most of the server market. The utilization of open source software is a global trend. Particularly, Internet infrastructure and platform software open source software development has increased rapidly. Since 2003, the Korean government has published open source software promotion policies and a supply promotion policy. The dynamism of the open source software market, the lack of relevant expertise, and the market transformation due to reasons such as changes in the relevant technology occur slowly in relation to adoption. Therefore, this study proposes an assessment model of services provided in an open source software service company. In this study, the service level of open source software companies is classified into an enterprise-level assessment area, the service level assessment area, and service area. The assessment model is developed from an on-site driven evaluation index and proposed evaluation framework; the evaluation procedures and evaluation methods are used to achieve the research objective, involving an impartial evaluation model implemented after pilot testing and validation. Research Design, data, and methodology - This study adopted an iteration development model to accommodate various requirements, and presented and validated the assessment model to address the situation of the open source software service company. Phase 1 - Theoretical background and literature review Phase 2 - Research on an evaluation index based on the open source software service company Phase 3 - Index improvement through expert validation Phase 4 - Finalizing an evaluation model reflecting additional requirements Based on the open source software adoption case study and latest technology trends, we developed an open source software service concept definition and classification of public service activities for open source software service companies. We also presented open source software service company service level measures by developing a service level factor analysis assessment. The Behavior-Structure-Evolution Evaluation Model (BSEM) proposed in this study consisted of a rating methodology for calculating the level that can be granted through the assessment and evaluation of an enterprise-level data model. An open source software service company's service comprises the service area and service domain, while the technology acceptance model comprises the service area, technical domain, technical sub-domain, and open source software name. Finally, the evaluation index comprises the evaluation group, category, and items. Results - Utilization of an open source software service level evaluation model For the development of an open source software service level evaluation model, common service providers need to standardize the quality of the service, so that surveys and expert workshops performed in open source software service companies can establish the evaluation criteria according to their qualitative differences. Conclusion - Based on this evaluation model's systematic evaluation process and monitoring, an open source software service adoption company can acquire reliable information for open source software adoption. Inducing the growth of open source software service companies will facilitate the development of the open source software industry.

Direction Finding Problem에서의 신호원 갯수 추정 신뢰도에 관한 AIC와 MDL의 비교 (Comparisons of AIC and MDL on Estimation Reliability of Number of Soureces in Direction Finding Problem)

  • 본 논문에서는 array processing에서, sensor array를 통해 들어오는 source signal들의 개수를 결정하는 방법들을 판정의 정확도의 관점에서 연구 고찰한다. 첫번째 방법은 Akaike의 Akaike's Information Criterion(AIC)이고, 다른 하나는 Schwartz와 Rissanen의 Minimum Description Length(MDL)이다. 실용적인 측면에서 볼 때, 신호대잡음비 (S/N)가 매우 낮은 상태에서 얻어진 한정된 양의 data를 이용하여 제한된 갯수의 sensor들로 이루어진 array로 부터, 매우 근접해 있는 source signal들의 갯수를 예측해 내는 것은 대단히 중요한 일이다. 본 논문은 simulation 결과를 통하여, source signal들이 근접해 있을수록, array의 sensor 갯수가 줄어들수록, 이용할 data의 양이 한정될수록 또 S/N가 낮아질수록, AIC이 MDL에 비해서 높은 신뢰도를 가짐을 보여준다.

오픈소스 플랫폼 기반의 실시간 환자 대기시간 모니터링 시스템 설계 (A System Design for Real-Time Monitoring of Patient Waiting Time based on Open-Source Platform)

  • 본 논문에서는 병원에서 환자의 대기시간을 실시간으로 모니터링하기 위한 오픈소스 기반의 시스템을 제안한다. 환자의 위치 데이터를 실시간으로 분석, 처리하기 위한 고성능 스트림 처리 시스템을 비용 효율적으로 구축하기 위해서는 오픈소스 프로젝트를 활용하는 것이 필요하다. 빅데이터를 처리하기 위한 오픈 소스 시스템으로 다양한 하둡 서브프로젝트들로 구성된 하둡 에코시스템이 있다. 본 논문에서는 먼저 시스템 요구사항을 정의하고 하둡 에코시스템에서 이를 만족시키기 위한 몇 가지 오픈소스 프로젝트들을 선정한다. 그리고, 선정된 아파치 스파크, 아파치 카프카 등을 이용한 시스템 구조 설계 및 상세 모듈 설계를 제안한다. 제안된 시스템은 기존 시스템과의 연계 및 오픈소스 프로젝트를 통해 구축비용을 절감할 수 있으며, 또한 분산 스트림 처리를 통해 고성능과 안정성을 확보할 수 있다.

모멘텀 소스 방법을 이용한 로터-기체간의 간섭작용 해석 (Aerodynamic Simulation of Rotor-Airframe Interaction by the Momentum Source Method)

  • 로터-기체 사이의 간섭작용을 정확하게 계산하기 위해서는 로터의 회전을 사실적으로 모사할 수 있는 로터-기체 결합형상의 Navier-Stokes 해석이 필요하다. 하지만 회전하는 로터를 포함한 전기체를 해석할 경우 격자가 증가함에 따라 계산 비용과 시간이 증가된다. 모멘텀 소스 방법은 로터를 디스크 격자에 모멘텀 소스로 대체하여 시간 평균된 로터-기체의 간섭작용을 해석하므로 비교적 경제적이면서도 정확한 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 일반적으로 모멘텀 소스 값은 블레이드 요소 이론을 이용하여 구하지만 결과의 정확성이 떨어진다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 모멘텀 소스를 Moving mesh 방법을 이용한 Navier-Stokes 계산을 통해 구하여 정확성을 높였다. 이 모멘텀 소스 값을 이용하여 정상해석을 하여 실험결과와 비교하였다. 기존의 모멘텀 소스 방법은 시간 평균된 유동장만 관찰할 수 있으므로 비정상 유동장을 관찰하기 위하여 비정상 로터-기체 간섭작용 해석 모델을 개발하여 실험결과와 비교해 보았다. 검증을 위하여 간단한 형상인 Georgia Tech 형상을 사용하여 실험결과와 비교해 보았으며 본 연구의 계산결과가 실험결과와 잘 일치하는 것을 볼 수 있었다.

  • We can picture a workforce that extends beyond your employees: one that consists of any user connected to the Internet. Cloud, social, and collaboration technologies now allow organizations to tap into vast pools of resources across the world, many of whom are motivated to help. Channeling these efforts to drive business goals is a challenge, but the opportunity is enormous: it can give every business access to an immense, agile workforce that is not only better suited to solving some of the problems that organizations struggle with today but in many cases will do it for free. In this paper, we research on factors to design an organizational crowd source for Big Data.

Applications of Open-source Spatio-Temporal Database Systems in Wide-field Time-domain Astronomy

  • We present our experiences with open-source spatio-temporal database systems for managing and analyzing big astronomical data acquired by wide-field time-domain sky surveys. Considering performance, cost, difficulty, and scalability of the database systems, we conduct comparison studies of open-source spatio-temporal databases such as GeoMesa and PostGIS that are already being used for handling big geographical data. Our experiments include ingesting, indexing, and querying millions or billions of astronomical spatio-temporal data. We choose the public VVV (VISTA Variables in the Via Lactea) catalogs of billions measurements for hundreds of millions objects as the test data. We discuss issues of how these spatio-temporal database systems can be adopted in the astronomy community.

The Real -Time Dispersion Modeling System

  • The real-time modeling system, named AirWatch System, has been developed to evaluate the environmental impact from a large source. It consists of stack TMS (TeleMetering System) that measures the emission data from the source, AWS (Automatic Weather Station) that monitors the weather data and computer system with the dispersion modeling software. The modeling theories used in the system are Gaussian plume and puff models. The Gaussian plume model is used for the dispersion in the simple terrain with a point meteorological data while the puff model is for the dispersion in complex terrain with three dimensional wind fields. The AirWatch System predicts the impact of the emitted pollutants from the large source on the near-by environment on the real -time base and the alarm is issued to control the emission rate if the calculated concentrations exceed the modeling significance level.

Domain Adaptation Image Classification Based on Multi-sparse Representation

  • Generally, research of classical image classification algorithms assume that training data and testing data are derived from the same domain with the same distribution. Unfortunately, in practical applications, this assumption is rarely met. Aiming at the problem, a domain adaption image classification approach based on multi-sparse representation is proposed in this paper. The existences of intermediate domains are hypothesized between the source and target domains. And each intermediate subspace is modeled through online dictionary learning with target data updating. On the one hand, the reconstruction error of the target data is guaranteed, on the other, the transition from the source domain to the target domain is as smooth as possible. An augmented feature representation produced by invariant sparse codes across the source, intermediate and target domain dictionaries is employed for across domain recognition. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

비정형 빅데이터를 이용한 난수생성용 블록체인 오라클 (Blockchain Oracle for Random Number Generator using Irregular Big Data)

  • 블록체인 2.0은 프로그래밍 가능한 스마트계약을 사용하여 다양한 DApp(Distributed Application) 개발을 지원한다. 하지만 스마트계약이 동작하는 환경은 블록 높이, 블록 해쉬, 트랜잭션 해쉬 등 결정된 데이터만 접근할 수 있어서 블록체인 기반 복권, 배팅, 키 생성 등 난수를 필요로 하는 응용은 블록체인 외부에서 데이터를 가져 올 수 있는 오라클 서비스를 이용해야 한다. 본 논문에서는 난수 생성 오라클 서비스를 개발하였다. 또한 난수 생성을 위해 비정형 빅데이터를 entropy source로 사용하였다. 이렇게 생성된 난수를 NIST SP800-22 난수 테스트하여 난수로 사용할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 물리적 세계를 entropy source로 사용하는 기존의 진성난수 생성기에 비해서 비용측면에서 유리함을 설명한다.
