  • Purpose: A conflict of interest is defined broadly as a scenario in which one's responsibilities and self-interest collide in a manner that has a significant probability of corrupting one's discernments, motivations, actions, desires, values, and judgments. This study aims to investigate various cases of conflict of interest. Research design, data and methodology: Our study used the preferred reporting items for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (PRISMA) to identify resources. The eligibility of selected prior studies thoroughly was investigated whether they are suitable for the topic of present study. Finally, we collected total 15 previous studies published between 2000 and 2021. Results: Research findings indicate that there are three main cases that might cause a conflict of interest and mandated research ethics education might provide researchers with the tools to identify and battle the temptations and biases provided by conflicts of interest. Researchers could likely be better prepared for conflicts of interest if they investigated the moral difficulties associated with them in advance. Conclusions: Researchers might evade deliberate or unconscious detriment of duties, and also objectivity loss because of the siren song of self-interest by escaping situations whereby they may be tempted to shirk their responsibilities, not to remark the hassles of unveiling conflicts.

This paper employs questionnaires to collect analytical data and through a case study to produce company strategies. Smith's Marketing Ethics Sequential System Model (SMESSM) is introduced in this paper for the decision of whether the case study company Haidilao Hot Pot should make a new strategy on service based on Generation Z's consuming behavior. The findings of this study demonstrate that hotpot restaurant must differentiate their services for Generation Z from older generation customers to gain a sustainable development of the hotpot business. Proper differentiated service will not only improve Generation Z's dining experience but also reduce costs. This paper is the first to discuss differentiated service strategy in the hotpot restaurant business from the perspective of Generation Z customers. And a Chinese experience of SMESSM for practical use is introduced in this paper, which enriches the relevant implications for future research on business strategy.

  • Purpose: To prevent and respond to youth sexual problems that are becoming more serious with digital development, this study sought to develop a sex education program that applies gamification as an effective method for youth who are digital natives. Research design, data and methodology: To develop a sex education program for teenagers, elements of gamification were considered based on Dick and Kerry's teaching system design model. The learning content reflected UNESCO's 'Comprehensive Sex Education Guidelines'. In addition, it was designed to enable students to learn about ethics and morals from a social and emotional aspect. Results: A four-session distance learning sex education program was developed for first-year high school students. To learn about gender sensitivity, sexual relationships, sexuality, and healthy sexual behavior, we developed a story that reflects the mission and quest for sex education. It included leaderboards, time limits, and levels, and also utilized mechanics such as points and items. Edutech tools include video content, Google Sheets, Zoom, Padlet, and Mentimeter. Conclusions: This study aims to improve learning effectiveness, satisfaction, and immersion by developing a sex education program for youth using gamification that promotes active learner participation and motivation.

As a result, the survey subjects were found to have, concerning the Confucian values, world view M=3.54, human relations view M=3.66, morality cultivation M=3.76, and social order M=3.45, higher than 3.0 to represent positive levels. The morality cultivation, in particular, was recorded the highest among all whereas the social order was relatively lower, which represents the degree of relying on Confucian values to establish social order. Second, the sub-variables of Confucian values were verified according to the personal characteristics of the surveyed youths and differences in their entire perception was investigated. As a result, according to gender, morality cultivation was found higher in female students (M=3.85) than in male students (M=3.64). According to the subjective economic level of their household, world view was found higher in upper class (M=3.98) than middle-low class (M=3.25) and low class (M=3.22) while human relations view was found higher in middle-upper class (M=3.79) than low class (M=3.46). Consequentially, the Confucian values was identified to play an important role in the sense of citizen ethics in the modern society. Based on this analysis, this study presented specific measures - the necessity and possibility of education on sense of citizen ethics under the theory of human nature. To this end, this study proposed to find an optimal interface between the contemporary sense of citizen ethics and Confucian ethics through the respect for human life and nature, man of virtue as the ideal human model, and united society as a desirable society model.

  • In this paper, we analyzed the units related to robot education in the Practical Arts textbooks according to the 2015 revised curriculum. As a result, all textbooks had a common system of introduction, development, and organization, and all of them showed a similar flow. Learning objectives were presented in all textbooks, but no affective goals were presented except cognitive and functional goals. The contents of robot learning suggest the meaning and type of robots, the structure and sensors of robots, and the activities of making robots, but the contents of robot ethics, the production and activities of various robot works, and the use of robots in the problem solving process are not presented. The assembly robot and the infrared sensor are used in common, and it consists of presenting robot production and control training materials in experience activities and arranging units through evaluation, and the A, C, and F textbooks also provide the unit auxiliary data. In the future, it will be necessary to include the contents of robot ethics education centered on the design/manufacturer and user-oriented robot ethics such as the recognition of the limits of robots, the principles of using robots correctly, safety education, personal information and privacy protection.

This research used a one group pretest-posttest experimental design. Thirty hours NE program was given to 42 nursing students for six weeks. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and paired t-test with SPSS 18.0. program. As a result, there are no significant effects of NE on SW, AD and PH. However, it was found one thing interest that neither our nursing ethics education program nor others' had significant effects on attitude toward death. Nurses provide care to people at the end of their lives more often than any other healthcare provider. • Although education on information technology ethics is increasingly being reinforced in elementary and middle schools, immoral and illegal behaviors online are not showing any sign of decrease. Because cognition- based education fails to lead students' practice on what they learned. Therefore, this study proposes a teaching- learning model integrating cognitive, affective and conative dimensions which had been developed on the elementary students' practice of information technology ethics. We verified the effect of achievement and practice through application this model to the school. To raise reliability we analysed the result of learning such as observation, analysis video data, homepage etc., and interview.

Through the consultation with experts, the feasibility and representation as index was heightened, and the weighted values to the each index was provided by the AHP method. The outcome of questionnaires from the information users and information providers (great portals) was also reflected in simple average method into the calculation of the weighted value to the each index element.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine how the purpose of visiting coffee shop affect the customer's ethics and customer's revisit intention. A total of 247 effective questionnaires for empirical data analyses were obtained from the university students who had the experiences of visiting coffee shops. Trough the literature review it was suggested that three factors of visiting purpose encompassed studying(working), leisure time, coffee & snack. To test the proposed hypotheses, exploratory factor analyses and multiple regression analyses were conducted. The results showed that two factors, studying(working) and coffee & snack, of visiting purpose influenced customer's ethics significantly. Among three factors, leisure time and coffee & snack were found to affect customer's revisit intention significantly. Based on the results, the meaningful implications and limitations were discussed.
