승용차용 Cabin Air Filter의 성능 (Performance of Automotive Cabin Air Filter for Passenger Cars)

  • Pressure drop and fractional collection efficiency of automotive cabin air filters were examined to obtain the basic data for the development of high performance domestic cabin air filters. Pressure drop of MA-V100 was higher than that of VF-V100, and it increased with the air flow rate. VF-V100 had longer time to rise the critical pressure drop than that MA-V100 had. Total collection efficiency of MA-V100 for initial and dust loaded conditions was higher than that of VF-V100. Also, fractional collection efficiency of MA-V100 for the fine particles was higher than that of VF-V100. Particla size distribution for the minimum collection efficiency ranged from 0.02 $\mu$m to 0.04 $\mu$m for MA-V100 and it ranged from 0.02 $\mu$m to 0.15 $\mu$m for VF-V100.

연소장치를 이용한 소형 전기집진장치의 집진 효율에 관한 연구 (A Study on Collection Efficiency of Pilot Electrostatic Precipitator)

  • Electrostatic Precipitator has been widely used to get high efficiency which is required for collection of fine particles. In order to provide collection efficiency and size distribution data for a pilot electrostatic precipitator, a pilot study has been conducted on fly ash from pulverized coal burning apparatus. The aims of this study are to investigate characteristics of electric charge, to measure collection efficiency varied with the applied voltage, to get an optimum current and current density. Optimum current density was obtained to 0.7mA/$cm^2$ at the average electric field strength 2.33kV/cm in this experiment. Maximum particle collection efficiency was indicated 99.21% at the applied voltage 7kV. Finally, particle size distribution is also compared with photographic results. Both coarse and fine particles at the range of 0.5$\sim$2$\mu$m and 3$\sim$10 SEM $\mu$m were clearly removed by increasing applied voltage.

  • 국내 도서관(圖書館) 및 정보기관(情報機關)이 소장하고 있는 외국학술잡지(外國學術雜誌)의 현황을 파악하고, 그 문제점을 제시하였다. 현황파악은 산업기술정보원(産業技術情報院)이 제작한 "외국학술잡지종합(外國學術雜誌綜合) 목록(目錄):과학기술편(科學技術篇)" 데이터베이스를 근거로 하였고, 그 문제점으로는 국내 소장자료가 부족하다는 것과, 그럼에도 불구하고 중복율(重複率)이 높다는 것, 그리고 기관 간의 협력이 미비(末備)하다는 점들이 지적되었다.

  • The pneumatic waste collection system, which is a complete solution for solving the waste collection problems, are constructed in many countries all over the world. However, research data for piping network design are insufficient. In this paper the pressure losses of the straight and curved pipes, pipe junctions are obtained using the numerical method in order to investigate the optimal pipe network design for the waste collection system.

유아기 자녀를 둔 아버지의 역할에 관한 국내학술지 연구동향 분석: 2000년이후 발표된 학술지를 중심으로 (An Analysis of Research Trends in Korean Journals on the Role of Fathers with Young Children: Research Papers from 2000 to Present)

  • This study examines research trends in Korean journal articles covering the role of fathers with young children. For this study, 45 research papers published from 2000 to present were analyzed according to research periods, research topics, research types, data collection methods, and data analysis methods. First, the largest number of papers was written since 2010. Second, the largest number of papers in terms of research topics focused on the father's child-rearing involvement and behavior. Third the most frequently used research type was the quantitative study. Fourth, the most frequently used data collection method was the questionnaire method. Fifth, the most frequently used data analysis method was the frequency and mean method. Future research should consider broader age groups of father and children by using various types of data collection and analysis methods. In addition, it should be useful to scrutinize general research trends in Korean journal articles highlighting the importance of roles of fathers with young children in a rapidly changing society.

  • Social infrastructure is the basis of public welfare and should be recognized and managed as important assets. Bridge is one of the most important infrastructures to be managed systematically because the impact of the failure is critical. It is essential to monitor the performance of bridges in order to manage them as an asset. But current analytical methods such as predictive modeling and structural analysis are very complicated and difficult to use in practice. To apply these methods, structural and material condition data collection should be performed in each element of bridge. But it is difficult to collect these detailed data in large numbers and various kinds of bridges. Therefore, it is necessary to collect data of major measurement items and predict the life of bridges roughly with advanced information technologies. When certain measurement items reach predefined limits in the monitoring bridges, precise performance measurement will be done by detailed site measurement. This paper describes the selection of major measurement items that can represent the tendency of bridge life and introduces automated bridge data collection test-bed using wireless sensor network technology. The following will be major parts of this paper: 1) Examining the features of conventional bridge management system and data collection method 2) Mileage concept as a bridge life indicator and measuring method of the indicator 3) Test-bed of automated and real-time based bridge life indicator monitoring system using wireless sensor network

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대학도서관 이용자들의 대출기록을 이용하여 자료이용행태를 분석하는데 있다. 이를 위하여, A대학도서관의 2012년 3월부터 2013년 2월말 사이에 발생한 264,804건의 대출관련 데이터를 수집하여 사용하였다. 자료의 주제별 그리고 이용자 유형에 따른 자료이용행태 분석을 위해, 전체 주제를 16개군으로 구분하였으며, 이용자 유형은 5개 집단(학부생, 대학원생, 교수, 직원, 기타이용자)으로 구분하였다. 이를 통해 대학도서관 이용자들의 주제별 자료이용 정도, 이용자 유형에 따른 주제별 자료이용 정도, 최신자료에 대한 주제별 선호도, 이용자 유형에 따른 최신자료의 선호도 등을 분석하였다.

파리 컬렉션 변천에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Transition of Paris Collection)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the historical change of Paris Collection in relation to the social and cultural environment. Together with the various changes in society, creates fashion, the historical background of the Paris Collections is analyzed from the end of the 19th century until the present. The research method includes analysis entered on data from literature and magazines. From this study, the following conclusions can be reached. 1. Paris Collection is composed of various situations such as the economic aspect, the changing society, the change of the costumes, the change of consumer's consciousness, etc,. 2. The position and role of Paris Collection will be changed in the future. But, there is no alternative. Paris Collection is the best system which we need in our society. 3. Since the level of the planning of the apparel industry becoming raised rapidly, Paris collection tend to avoid the traditional aspect. 4. In order to make good product, good understanding of the historical background need. It must be considered to understand changes such as consumers lifestyles, social trend, etc.

  • 공공도서관은 방문하는 이용자들의 배경이 다양하고 도서관을 찾는 목적 또한 다양하기 때문에 모든 이용자의 요구를 충분히 만족시키기에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이를 극복하기 위한 노력으로 공공도서관 자료의 만족 수준을 높일 수 있는 장서개발 연구가 필요하다. 따라서 본 연구는 공공도서관의 장서개발을 위해 서울특별시 소재 구립 공공도서관 10개관 이용자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하여 이용자의 장서이용행태를 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 서울시 구립 공공도서관을 위한 장서개발의 방향을 제시하였다.

Re-Identification of Aspergillus Subgenus Circumdati Strains in Korea Led to the Discovery of Three Unrecorded Species

  • Aspergillus is one of the largest and diverse genera of fungi with huge economical, biotechnological, and social significance. Taxonomically, Aspergillus is divided into six subgenera comprising 27 sections. In this study, 235 strains of Aspergillus subgenus Circumdati (section: Candidi, Circumdati, Flavi, Flavipedes, Nigri, and Terrei) preserved at the Korean Agricultural Culture Collection (KACC) were analyzed and re-identified using a combined dataset of partial b-tubulin (BenA), Calmodulin (CaM) gene sequences and morphological data. We confirmed nineteen species to be priorly reported in Korea (A. neotritici, A. terreus, A. floccosus, A. allahabadii, A. steynii, A. westerdijkiae, A. ochraceus, A. ostianus, A. sclerotiorum, A. luchuensis, A. tubingensis, A. niger, A. welwitschiae, A. japonicus, A. nomius, A. tamarii, A. parasiticus, A. flavi, and A. oryzae). Among the studied strains, three species (A. subalbidus, A. iizukae, and A. uvarum), previously unreported or not officially documented, were discovered in Korea, to the best of our knowledge. We have given a detailed description of the characteristic features of the three species, which remain uncharted in Korea.
