FM Radio communication operating mode is half-duplex mode. FM radio network access control shall be used to detect the presence of active transmissions on a multiple-subscriber-access communications network and shall provide a means to preclude data transmissions from conflicting on the network. In this study, we implemented R-NAD(Random Network Access Delay) that is one of network access control method.
Many studies have been done on secure operating system using secure kernel that has various access control policies for system security. Secure kernel can protect user or system data from unauthorized and/or illegal accesses by applying various access control policies like DAC(Discretionary Access Control), MAC(Mandatory Access Control), RBAC(Role Based Access Control), and so on. But, even if secure operating system is running under various access control policies, network traffic among these secure operating systems can be captured and exposed easily by network monitoring tools like packet sniffer if there is no protection policy for network traffic among secure operating systems. For this reason, protection for data within network traffic is as important as protection for data within local system. In this paper, we propose a secure operating system trusted channel, SOSTC, as a prototype of a simple secure network protocol that can protect network traffic among secure operating systems and can transfer security information of the subject. It is significant that SOSTC can be used to extend a security range of secure operating system to the network environment.
Due to various requirements for the user access control to large databases in the hospitals and the banks, database security has been emphasized. There are many security models for database systems using wide variety of policy-based access control methods. However, they are not functionally enough to meet the requirements for the complicated and various types of access control. In this paper, we propose a database security system that can individually control user access to data groups of various sites and is suitable for the situation where the user's access privilege to arbitrary data is changed frequently. Data group(s) in different sixes d is defined by the table name(s), attribute(s) and/or record key(s), and the access privilege is defined by security levels, roles and polices. The proposed system operates in two phases. The first phase is composed of a modified MAC (Mandatory Access Control) model and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) model. A user can access any data that has lower or equal security levels, and that is accessible by the roles to which the user is assigned. All types of access mode are controlled in this phase. In the second phase, a modified DAC(Discretionary Access Control) model is applied to re-control the 'read' mode by filtering out the non-accessible data from the result obtained at the first phase. For this purpose, we also defined the user group s that can be characterized by security levels, roles or any partition of users. The policies represented in the form of Block(s, d, r) were also defined and used to control access to any data or data group(s) that is not permitted in 'read ' mode. With this proposed security system, more complicated 'read' access to various data sizes for individual users can be flexibly controlled, while other access mode can be controlled as usual. An implementation example for a database system that manages specimen and clinical information is presented.

Cloud storage's elastic expansibility not only provides flexible services for data owners to store their data remotely, but also reduces storage operation and management costs of their data sharing. The data outsourced remotely in the storage space of cloud service provider also brings data security concerns about data integrity. Data integrity verification has become an important technology for detecting the integrity of remote shared data. However, users without data access rights to verify the data integrity will cause unnecessary overhead to data owner and cloud service provider. Especially malicious users who constantly launch data integrity verification will greatly waste service resources. Since data owner is a consumer purchasing cloud services, he needs to bear both the cost of data storage and that of data verification. This paper proposes a verification control algorithm in data integrity verification for remotely outsourced data. It designs an attribute-based encryption verification control algorithm for multiple verifiers. Moreover, data owner and cloud service provider construct a common access structure together and generate a verification sentinel to verify the authority of verifiers according to the access structure. Finally, since cloud service provider cannot know the access structure and the sentry generation operation, it can only authenticate verifiers with satisfying access policy to verify the data integrity for the corresponding outsourced data. Theoretical analysis and experimental results show that the proposed algorithm achieves fine-grained access control to multiple verifiers for the data integrity verification.

Access control is an essential security component in protecting sensitive data and services from unauthorized access to the resources in mission-critical Cyber-Physical Systems (CPSs). CPSs are different from conventional information processing systems in such that they involve interactions between the cyber world and the physical world. Therefore, existing access control models cannot be used directly and even become disabled in an emergency situation. This paper proposes an adaptive Access Control model for Emergences (AC4E) for mission-critical CPSs. The principal aim of AC4E is to control the criticalities in these systems by executing corresponding responsive actions. AC4E not only provides the ability to control access to data and services in normal situations, but also grants the correct set of access privileges, at the correct time, to the correct set of subjects in emergency situations. It can facilitate adaptively responsive actions altering the privileges to specific subjects in a proactive manner without the need for any explicit access requests. A semiformal validation of the AC4E model is presented, with respect to responsiveness, correctness, safety, non-repudiation and concurrency, respectively. Then a case study is given to demonstrate how the AC4E model detects, responds, and controls the emergency events for a typical CPS adaptively in a proactive manner. Eventually, a wide set of simulations and performance comparisons of the proposed AC4E model are presented.

Cloud computing is widely used in information spreading and processing, which has provided a easy and quick way for users to access data and retrieve service. Generally, in order to prevent the leakage of the information, the data in cloud is transferred in the encrypted form. As one of the traditional security technologies, access control is an important part for cloud security. However, the current access control schemes are not suitable for cloud, thus, it is a vital problem to design an access control scheme which should take account of complex factors to satisfy the various requirements for cipher text protection. We present a novel access control scheme based on proxy re-encryption(PRE) technology (PreBAC) for cipher text. It will suitable for the protection of data confidently and information privacy. At first, We will give the motivations and related works, and then specify system model for our scheme. Secondly, the algorithms are given and security of our scheme is proved. Finally, the comparisons between other schemes are made to show the advantages of PreBAC.
Recently, research has been actively conducted to utilize blockchain technology in various fields. In particular, blockchain-based smart contracts are applied to various automation systems that require reliability as they have the characteristics of recording data in a distributed ledger environment to verify the integrity and validity of data. However, blockchain does not provide data access control and information security because data is shared among network participants. In this paper, we propose a user dynamic access control mechanism utilizing smart contracts in blockchain environments. The proposed mechanism identifies the user's contextual information when accessing data, allocating the user's role and dynamically controlling the data access range. This can increase the security of the system and the efficiency of data management by granting data access dynamically at the time of user authentication, rather than providing the same services in roles assigned to each user group of the network system. The proposed mechanism is expected to provide flexible authentication capabilities through dynamic data access control by users to enhance the security of data stored within blockchain networks.
Network Access Control system of medical asset protection solutions that installation and operation on system and network to provide a process that to access internal network after verifying the safety of information communication devices. However, there are still the internal medical-data leakage threats due to spoof of authorized devices and unauthorized using of users are away hours. In this paper, Network 2-Factor Access Control Model proposed for prevention the medical-data leakage by improving the current Network Access Control system. The proposed Network 2-Factor Access Control Model allowed to access the internal network only actual users located in specific place within the organization and used authorized devices. Therefore, the proposed model to provide a safety medical asset environment that protecting medical-data by blocking unauthorized access to the internal network and unnecessary internet access of authorized users and devices.
Recently, data access control policies have not been applied for authorized or unauthorized persons properly and information leakage incidents have occurred due to database security vulnerabilities. In the traditional database access control methods, administrators grant permissions for accessing database objects to users. However, these methods couldn't be applied for diverse access control policies to the database. In addition, another database security method which uses data encryption is difficult to utilize data indexing. Thus, this paper proposes an enhanced database access control system via a packet analysis method between client and database server in network to apply diverse security policies. The proposed security system can be applied the applications with access control policies related to specific factors such as date, time, SQL string, the number of result data and etc. And it also assures integrity via a public key certificate and MAC (Message Authentication Code) to prevent modification of user information and query sentences.

Smart home systems provide a safe, comfortable, and convenient living environment for users, whereby users enjoy featured home services supported by the data collected and generated by smart devices in smart home systems. However, existing smart devices lack sufficient protection in terms of data security and privacy, and challenging security and privacy issues inevitably emerge when using these data. This article aims to address these challenging issues by proposing a private blockchain-based access control (PBAC) scheme. PBAC involves employing a private blockchain to provide an unforgeable and auditable foundation for smart home systems, that can thwart illegal data access, and ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of access records. A detailed security analysis shows that PBAC could preserve data security against various attacks. In addition, we conduct a comprehensive performance evaluation to demonstrate that PBAC is feasible and efficient.
