  • This paper designs for the real time spectrum analysis on RF signal with DSP processor (TMS320c6$\times$01). The core block has a couple of parts, RF and DSP module. The experiment and performance of system is tested by ESC to generate WCDMA and IS-95C CDMA. The system is enable to analyze the spectrum under lower 5 dB gain to another equipments.

  • 본 논문에서는 기존의 설계 방법의 문제점을 해결하기 위한 설계 방법인 플랫폼 기반 설계에서 사용할 수 있는 DSP 기반 플랫폼을 구현하였다. 구현된 DSP 기반 플랫폼을 AMBA AHB 버스를 바탕으로한 듀얼프로세서 플랫폼과 crossbar switch 구조의 버스 구조를 가지고 4개의 프로세서를 연결한 멀티프로세서 플랫폼으로 확장하여 검증함으로서 이질적인 환경에서 동작함을 나타내었다. 멀티프로세서 플랫폼에서는 DVB-T baseband 수신기를 HW/SW 분할 구현하고 성능 평가를 수행하였다. DSP 기반 플랫폼은 유연성, 확장성, 고속의 연산의 특징을 가진다.

  • This paper presents a multi output converter system that controls, simultaneously and independently, the separate Buck converter and Boost converter with the different specification by one DSP digital controller. As two separate converters are regulated by only one DSP, it is possible to achieve the simple digital control circuit for regulating multi output DC-DC converter. By setting the software switch state, PI and Fuzzy controller can be applied as a controller for each converter without any change of hardware. Also, it is included the control characteristics comparison between PI and Fuzzy controller. The control characteristics of each PWM DC-DC converter is validated by experimental results.

  • Digital FHR monitoring system based on the personal computer combined wi th the digital signal processing (DSP) board was implemented. The DSP board acquires and digitally processes ultrasound fetal Doppler signal for digital rectification, envelope detection, autocorrealtion function calculation and its peak position detection. The personal computer interfaced with the DSP board is in charge of graphic display, hardcopy, data taransmission and on-line analysis of fetal heart rate change including on-line warning system, base-line estmation, acceleration, deceleration and variability. The advantages of PC-DSP based system can be summarized as follows: 1) Minimum hardware realization. 2) Increased flexibility. 3) Total care system.

  • This paper presents the straightness compensation system which is a device for improving the machining accuracy of ultra-precision machines by synchronizing the position of diamond tool tip with machine error motion. Sine it is actuated by piezoelectric actuator with highly nonlinear hysteresis characteristics, the feedback control schemes such as Proportional Integral(PI), are required and realized by measuring the displacements of diamond tool tip. for the better tracking performance, the controller was implemented using TMS320C32 32bit floating-point DSP which is fast so that the real-time control is possible. In addition, stand alone type DSP board was chosen fur the easy assembly into the ultra-precision machines. The experimental results show good command tracking performance and the motion error of the machine is satisfactorily compensated during the machining process.

  • System realization and video watermarking using spatial and interframe information is presented in this paper. The system is constructed with DSP processor to process compression and watermark algorithm with real time. Video watermark algorithm is used the watermark insertion using the spatial and interframe. As a results, the processing time of D1 image per frame is 32.1msec in DSP.

  • This paper presents the design and implementation of a baseband Modem using DSP that supports a wireless LAN. It is implemented with DSP and D/A and A/D Converters in baseband and tested without using IF and RF modules. In this paper, we have used the matched filler and DLL(delay lock loop) for synchronization. And the matched filter and the carrier recovery are directly connected. Therefore, the proposed architecture is very simple and the operation of DSP becomes fast.

  • We designed a weld monitoring system with UV and IR sensors using a embedded DSP controller for implementing a distribution system; running stand alone and communication with outside by industrial standard protocols. Also this system provided a USB port in order to be acquiring data in PC. The user interface program in PC visualized the IR and W data in time, frequency and state space. A correlation of IR and UV signals showed closely related to weld quality. A rapid change of geometry can be found through a moving average filter. And the average value of IR signal at an interval represented a welding width and depth. Through these results, we proposed a monitoring algorithm for a integer type DSP.

  • This paper describes a DSP implementation of a real-time 3D sound localization algorithm with the use of a low power embedded DSP. A distinctive feature of this implementation is that the audible frequency band is divided into three, in accordance with the sound reflection and diffraction phenomena through different media from a certain sound source to human ears, and then in each subband a specific implementation procedure of the 3D sound localization is devised so as to operate real-time at a low frequency of 50MHz on a 16bit fixed-point DSP. Thus out DSP implementation can provide a listener with 3D sound effects through a headphone at low cost and low power consumption.

  • 고속 신호처리 및 실시간 제어 분야에 적합한 제어성능을 발휘하기 위해서는 신호처리전용 마이크로프로세서인 DSP(Digital Signal Processor)를 이용한 제어용 보드가 널리 활용되고 있다. 본 연구를 통하여 전기도금용 전원장치의 고성능화를 위하여 DSP제어용 보드를 개발하였으며, 전체구성은 고속 신호처리를 위한 메인 마이크로프로세서로서 경제성과 응용범위가 넓은 TMS320C32 DSP CHIP, Wait없는 프로그램 및 데이터 처리를 위한 고속 SRAM, 외부 디지털 입출력을 위한 인터페이스 회로, 아나로그 입출력 회로 및 PC 혹은 다른 마이크로컴퓨터와의 통신을 위한 직렬 통신 회로 등으로 구성하였다. 개발된 DSP 보드는 시제품 제작을 완료하여 그 성능 및 신뢰성을 검증하였으며, 전기도금장치의 고성능 제어처리를 위하여 채용하여 상품화 개발을 완료하였다.
