A Study on Vector control of AC motor using Low-Voltage DSP for semiconductor transportation equipments (반도체 제조 장비용 저 전압 DSP칩을 이용한 서보 모터의 벡터제어에 관한 연구)

  • In this study, the controller using TMS320LF2407 low voltage DSP for motor control is designed and realized. It has 40 MIPS calculating ability and its driving voltage is 3.3 V for low power. The peripheral elements, however usually use 5 V and they need voltage transfer interface. In this study, voltage transformation and reducing noise are studied and space vector PWM is adopted as a motor control scheme. According to these methods, the efforts for software programming and calculation processes are reduced. In addition, the hardware is also simplified by substituting the current control part with software programming. Through this study, the DSP based servo controller increases its ability for high performance multi-function on semiconductor transportation equipments..

  • The hearing aid chip described in this paper is an analog & digital mixed system. The design focuses on the$\mu$DSP core. This $\mu$DSP core includes internal time delays to two inputs from front and rear microphones. The paper consists of two parts; one is the composure and signal processing algorithm of digital hearing aids and the other is Verilog HDL codes for$\mu$DSP cores. All digital modules in the design were coded and synthesized by Verilog HDL codes which were verified by Mentor Graphics and Synopsis semiconductor chip design tools.

  • This paper presents a implementation of digital motion control system for induction motor vector drives using the 16bit DSP TMS320F240. The DSP controller enable enhanced real time algorithm and cost-effective design of intelligent controllers for induction motors which can be yield enhanced operation, fewer system components, lower system cost, increased efficiency and high performance. The system presented are speed and current sensing, sine look-up table and generated SVPWM by fully integrated control software. The developed system in a implementation are shown a good speed response characteristic results and high performance features. The system can be adapted variform motor drive system.

  • 최근의 자동화 추세에 따라 전세계 전력 수요의 50% 이상이 각종 전동기와 관련되어 있다는 추정이 있을 정도로 전동기의 사용은 일반화되어 있다. 특히, 유지 보수 측면에서 경제적인 장점을 지니는 BLDCM, 유도전동기 등의 교류 전동기는 기존에 많이 사용되던 직류전동기를 점차 대치해 가며 그 적용범위를 크게 넓혀가고 있는 상황이다. 광범위하게 이용되는 전동기를 더욱 효율적으로 떠한 더욱 고성능으로 제어하고자 하는 요구도 그 사용의 확대와 더불어 증가되어 최근에는 고성능의 디지털 제어방식을 채용한 드라이버를 이용하여 전동기를 제어하는 것이 일반화되었으며, 특히 1 사이클에 곱셈이 가능하다는 우수한 계산상의 장점을 지닌 DSP를 채용한 전동기 드라이브 시스템은 전에는 구현이 불가능했던 계산량이 많은 고성능의 제어 알고리즘들을 구현 가능하도록 한다는 점에서 큰 관심의 대상이 되고 있다. 이제 전동기 제어 및 드라이브 시스템과 관련된 최근의 주요 이슈들을 알아보고 DSP를 이용한 전동기 드라이브 시스템의 구현 사례, 최근의 전동기 드라이브 시스템용 DSP의 추세 그리고 DSP를 이용한 전동기 드라이브 시스템이 이런 상황에서 어떤 장점을 지닐 수 있는가에 관해 생각해 보고자 한다.

  • A new 6-axis robot controller with a high-speed 32-bit floating-point DSP TMS32OC30 has been developed in Samsung Electronics. The controller composed of Intel 80386 microprocessor for the main controller, and TKS32OC30 DSP chip for joint position controller. The characteristics of the controller are high sampling rate of 200us and fast reponsibility. The main controller supports MS-DOS, kinematics, trajectory planning, and sensor fusion functions which are vision, PLC, and MAP. The one high speed DSP chip is used for controlling 6 axes of a robot in 200us simultaneously. The control law applied is PID controller including a velocity feedforvard in joint position controller. The performance tests, such as command following, CP, were conducted for the controller integrated with a 6 axes robot developed in Samsung Electronics. The results showed a good performance. This controller can also perform the system control with other controllers, the communication with high priority controllers, and visual information processing.

  • The performance of a digital baseband signal processing and data transmission rate depends on the modulation technique. In this paper, We implemented DSP communication system for Underwater acoustic communication using by adaptive BPSK modem technique. In order to implement adaptive modem, we suggested SNR detection block. SNR detection block has the reference SNR value that selects between window filter path and matched filter path. In this paper, suggested system is based on software interface and all Hardware(PLL, modem filter, equalizer etc) is implemented by software, exclusive of DSP, A/D, D/A converter, SDRAM and Flash memory.

  • 제안하고 있는 CSD17C00 chip은 C&S technology에서 개발한 것으로, 음성 신호 처리를 위해 범용으로 구현되었으며, 16 bit 40 MIPS DSP group OAK DSP Core를 포함, 이에 Miscellaneous Logic, Serial Port, Host Interface, Timer, Compander 의 5가지 Peripherals 과 범용 I/O Ports 로 설계되었다. 1차적으로 CSD17C00 Chip 의 성능을 점검하였다. 그 결과, 응용 프로그램은 28MIPS의 계산속도를 갖으며, 프로그램 ROM 크기는 8.85KWords 이고, 10KWords 의 데이터 ROM 과 4KWords 데이터 RAM을 필요로 한다. CSD17C00 CHIP은 멀티미디어 통신용 VOCODER 개발을 위한 범용성을 갖추고 있으며, VOCODER 용 S/W 개발 환경 및 H/W 구조가 여타 범용 DSP에 비해편의성고 K합리성을 제공하도록 설계되어 있다. 따라서, 이를 이용한다면, 멀티 미디어 통신용 VOCODER, INTERNET PHONE CO-PROCESSOR, DIGITAL RECODER, MPEG AUDIO ENCODER & DECODER 등 다양한 제품으로의 응용이 가능할 것으로 전망된다.

  • A missile warning radar is an essential sensor for active protection system to detect antitank missile in all weather environments. This paper introduces missile warning radar for main battle tank and presents the results of the design and implementation of the radar signal processor using high speed multi-DSP. The key algorithms include adaptive CF AR, weighted linear fitting algorithm, S/W tracking capability, and threat decision and present test result.

  • In this paper, we design the hardware architecture of the BICM(Bit Interleaved Coded Modulation) module for next generation European broadcast system and implement the BICM module with DSP(Digital Signal Processor) TMS320C6474. Simulation result shows that the BER(Bit Error Rate) performance of the fixed-point BICM module using more than 8 bits is very similar to that of the floating-point BICM module.

  • The realization for power measurement system to analyze and improve the external distortion with DSP is presented. The system is composed of RF, DSP and communication module, and take the Wigner distribution algorithm to remove the external distortion. The experiment result has SNR as $\pm$0.5dB to be improved than existing system.
